RWBY Thread III: Time To Say Goodbye

Stop: So gotta few things that need to be said real quick.
so gotta few things that need to be said real quick.
We get a lot of reports from this thread. A lot of it is just a series of people yelling at each other over arguments that have been rehashed hundreds of times since the end of the recent Volume. And I get that the last Volume - and RWBY in general, really - has some controversial moments that people will want to discuss, argue about, debate, etc.

That's fine. We're not going to stop people from doing that, because that's literally what the point of the thread is. However, there's just a point where it gets to be a bit too much, and arguments about whether or not Ironwood was morally justified in his actions in the recent Volume, or if RWBY and her team were in the right for withholding information from Ironwood out of distrust, or whatever flavor of argument of the day descend into insulting other posters, expressing a demeaning attitude towards other's opinions, and just being overall unpleasant. That tends to happen a lot in this thread. We want it to stop happening in this thread.

So! As of now the thread is in a higher state of moderation. What that means is that any future infractions will result in a weeklong boot from the thread, and repeated offenders will likely be permanently removed. So please, everyone endeavor to actually respect the other's arguments, and even if you strongly disagree with them please stay civil and mindful when it comes to responding to others.

In addition, users should refrain from talking about off-site users in the thread. Bear in mind that this does not mean that you cannot continue to post tumblr posts, for example, that add onto the discussion in the thread, with the caveat that it's related to RWBY of course. But any objections to offsite users in the thread should be handled via PM, or they'll be treated as thread violations and infracted as such.

I see what you are saying and I agree she probably isnt Pyrrha though I have to point out the chin thing could be from the view and not how her chin actually is.

I just want my Pyrrha back.
She's in everyone's hearts, and lungs, and probably a bit in their stomachs too, look the point is that Pyrrha has been turned into a fine ash that surrounds and penetrates the entirety of beacon.

>"Wait, Raven? Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be guiding Uang or something?"
>"I got it covered"
>Meanwhile in Patch
>"Dad! Dad! I've gotten over my Yangst and want to train to get stronger. And get a robot arm!"
>"That's great! Where did all this come from?"
>"Oh I got a little pep talk."
>From Yang's room, Zwei wearing a Grimm mask and weilding multiple swords barks happily.

God, I love Cinder' s reaction. And you know what? It's like the creators were acknowledging that most people are going to say how this (Ruby' s "Special Eyes" power ) was pulled completely out of nowhere.

Imagine Pyrrha making a come-back X-Men the Animated Series Magneto style with a "The Earth's magnetic energies have healed me!" Style thing,. From the Asteroid M saga, can't find clips sadly :(

EDIT

I found the clips!

Sorry for the double post but it just sort of occurred to me that I'm not sure why so many, even myself, were expecting Adam to be in any way nice or merciful when he met Blake. I mean I could sort of see it but at the end of the day the first two seasons built up how the White Fang has fallen from its noble origins into a gang of murderers who let Grim into cities and kill those who try to leave. They went from a diplomatic group to a defence oriented protest group to revolutionarys to terrorists and criminals at a speedy rate and Adam was clearly important amongst them and totally dismissive of lives and Blake's concerns. Those sort of groups don't let people go easily and they don't tend to show mercy to those who do, as a living representation of how far the White Fang's fallen Adam being murderous and bastardy even without the 'my love' stuff makes sense to me.

Well there's always the monkeysphere. Blake was a person to Adam - as opposed to the nebulous bad people strangers that weren't really people to his brain.

Or at least that's one way they could have gone with it.

I can definitely follow that, though from what I know such close-knit terrorist groups tend to regard traitors very poorly to even then I feel a reunion was, long before we saw how crazy Adam is, was doomed to be terrible for Blake.

I just saw a post on Tumblr that was quite insightful, I can't believe I missed this fully but Blake abandoned Yang, who else do we know that abandoned Yang, Raven, chances are that's only making it hit harder.

All I want for Christmas Volume 4:
Where the heroes have fought or escaped from some of the bad guys and are on their way to a attack one of their bases / is busy escaping from their clutches and the villains go all like:

Emerald: We have to warn Cinder!
Mercury: We can't, communications are down. We destroyed the CCT remember?
Emerald:...... I hate irony.
:D

For some reason when I saw Salem (Check the end of the voicecast in the credits) I got some major Kreia vibes from the design. This made an already poorly boding scene feel even more ominous.

Right, last week I thought I'd have a follow up to the whole 'even the fire is on fire' comment I made after I saw the season finale.

Probably should have realized a lot sooner how bad things were probably going to get. Then again I didn't think it would get to this point. Revelations have been made, along with a few realizations.

Remenant is going to need its heroes now more than ever. But at least something went wrong for Cinder for once.

Also on a side note here is a great idea for Roman to appear again without cheapening his death scene, simply make him a hallucination of Neo's. Basically after he died Neo was unable to accept it and instead started to hallucinate a copy of him and even uses her semblance to make the copy just a little more real.

So make him Ghost Nappa?

Oh good you weren't the only one. Darth Salem is here to make everyone's situation better worse.

So... about that whole "the maidens powers suck", I was wrong. Let me correct it.

"The fall maiden's powers suck"

There.

You know I hope we have team RNJR and team WBY* adventuring separately for a good long while. I sort of hope the team isn't properly reunited for more than a volume. Give team RNJR time to shine.

*Yang and Blake eventually make up. Then head to Atlas so Yang can get a prosthetic limb where they meet Weiss.
