That's brings up an interesting point. It's a plan for an EJ chapter which means voting closes whenever he closes it. But it's a plan for Vel to write which means it closes on the deadline. Fun corner case to think about
Properly speaking, that should be in the plan, but given that the deadline's technically passed, I'm not going to ask you to change a plan people have already voted on.
Mm, yeah, should've probably titled that section "suggested approaches" or something. Didn't consider that a specific ordering, or lack thereof, would be important enough to specify, though.
Okay guys, any ideas how presenting the approaches in the wrong order would result in complete disaster? Trying to start off by suggesting Adversarial would probably be the worst choice, and starting with Factual might be the best one, but that's all I could think of, and the effects should be marginal at best.
I declare a contest for the worst possible ordering! I'll give the winner a shout-out in my next plan title.
(Be sure to post all entries under spoiler tags so the QMs can't see them!)

Sad I missed voting due to work being crazy, but excited for the plan! It is weird enough that I feel like Hazou is living up to his potential. Now if only we could have sneaked some light treason in there.......

something something no next time something something we're all gonna dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I say we treat it as a to-do list. Next year's challenge is to introduce and proliferate as many of the technologies listed there as possible while keeping MfD's world otherwise unchanged, constraining all the knock-on effects of that technology. We already plan to do airships.
We shall usher in a new age of schizotech, and building Caruto shall mark our apotheosis.

Yes, actually. As a bonus, they're both ninja who get swept up in some weird guy's quest to save the world even though it's vastly removed from their natural interests and preferences.
The fact that they have diametrically-opposed personalities makes the comparison only sweeter.
that is awesome, now i want one for each. but man, Gouketsu colors are so flamboyant, with that shade of green they will think we are affiliated with the church of youth.
As I scrolled down to look at the image, my brain decided to interpret her mouth as a mustache and now I can't see anything else. And now you too are cursed with this knowledge.
It's Jiraiya's fault for being so lazy. Mari asked him what the clan colours were going to be, so he imagined having to get a whole new wardrobe, then looked in a mirror, and went, "This is fine".

Well, maybe we could play Mortem funus Debere instead, and adventure into the amazing world of medieval teenage fighting in this world.
Skizotech is much less widespread, and instead of a wiki, we can use actual historical research, which I'm sure is comprehensive, without error and not at all disputed. Another benefit of taking the real world as a setting: physics actually works as designed, stepping your face into the mud instead of letting you step into the air because you wrote reality a nicely worded letter.
My point is, whaddya expect, forging some fairy tales into a manageable working interactive story which makes internal sense is kiiinda hard. But also, very cool. Impressive work so far. Please keep at it?
I think the approach you have had so far worked well: if the lore is a chore, ignore.
Both. I browse on a tiny phone screen with JavaScript disabled, and composing posts two and a half lines at a time. Quoting whole posts makes scrolling hell. Calling out with an @ loses the context, specially when there might be pages of posts per day. So I leave a keyword if it fits, trusting readers to use the embedded link to parent to be able to reconstruct the conversation faithfully if needed. I thought of adding [...]'s to the snips, but the pedantry to content ratio is already too high on my posts, I think.
PSA: A massive thank you to @Paperclipped for running the simulations for the recent Gōketsu Clan missions. Their work was both thorough and extremely skilled, and we'd like to thank them for this (and for volunteering to help us in the future should the local aspirin factory shut down) to the tune of 100 XP. May you use it wisely to aid the survivors in future missions.
