I wonder if this would be harder or easier than a Rune that activates all seals on the battlefield, period. Would instantly disable or kill a sealmaster unprepared for it. Obviously this is particularly nasty against us, but if we only ever use it once and destroy all the notes etc after...

[my thought is that activating all seals may actually be easier than trying to specify explosive seals, because it's less discriminatory. But it may be limited to "activates all seals that activate in the same way as explosive seals" which is probably most but not all paper seals.]

You make a fair point, but it runs the risk of getting in the way of other rune strategies that involve seals. I can't think of any off the top of my head though: the plan for Icarus is to have Leaf-nin wearing non-air dome skywalkers, but whatever Kagome cooks up will be chakra adhesion-triggered, not regular-triggered. We have a route to Runic ARS, but I think it's not a bad thing if the rune activates all of them at once, as long as we want all the runes going online at once?

It's something to keep in mind. I definitely agree that a rune which attempts to normally activate all paper seals sounds a lot easier than one that recognizes explosive seals. Of Leaf's strongest fighters, Naruto and Tsunade don't rely on seals much and Orochimaru prefers bioseals, so it's plausible that we could include this in our lineup without any of our major fighters losing any combat power as a result.

Another option is to carry blanks into the battle and then infuse them in combat... which may not be a very good idea.

I'm not intrinsically opposed. But I suspect the answer will be "not well", and that asking is going to get Hazou yelled at for being insensitive.

I'd much rather wrap it up into an inspiring speech if we can. Don't really have the bandwidth to do that for this plan, if someone else wants to do it, I'll put it in. I'm cutting most of the chrkra budget discussion in light of QM answers so there's about 50-75 words available for it.

IMO, the inspired speech is better accompanied by Runic Air Dome and TR125 demonstration. Which, I presume, means it's not until we set up a more permanent camp?

OK, you're right that a plain "How're you doing" probably won't do much. I just want to avoid looking insensitive by not saying anything (which IIRC has been a problem in the past).

I do plan to say something soonish, IMO this will keep until next(?) update.

No need to churn up a storm if you can reach high enough. Simple physics effect: within the area, a column of air directly above any active chakra use is spatially contracted and/or becomes at least as electrically conductive as a solid bar of copper. Height of the air column scales such that flexing a Jonin aura risks shorting out the ionosphere.
