This /is/ fascinating and I want to see where it goes, but at the same time I'm worried that we have bigger priorities right now than dancing with the grue.

  • Send letter to Oyabun to get advice on dealing with Leafs criminal element -- Why do we need advice? He was looking to use his connections with us to expand his territory in Leaf. We can use his ambition to our benefit
  • Pitch adoption to Ebisu, Kabuto, Anko and Minor -- Minor? Did you mean Minori? Otherwise, think it best to wait at least until after hokage is decided for this one. As Nara pointed out we are lacking in manpower. Adopting them know gives us more prestige and strength that we need to secure the hat. Why should we wait?
  • Feel out Sakura for adoption -- I think it's best to ask Naruto about this one. That's fine
  • Meet with Sasuke and hash out long term relationship -- Fairly sure Mari's working on this one. Yes but we should be involved as well
  • Meet agents black and white -- Not sure they're still alive, and I think this one is definitely best left to Mari. If they are we need to contact them. I'm not interested in playing a game of telephone with Mari
  • Draft letters to known Agents Of Jiraiya's spy network -- Should figure out who, if anyone, is managing it, first. Why I want contact agent black and white

His completely theoretical and statistically unlikely children with a partner he doesn't have? That's a little...premature, don't you think? And why would Hazou want to foster his own children?

Why not? It's one more thing to sell in exchange for further cooperation against Hiashi.

E: Also, someone needs to teach his Sharingan kids how to sharingans. They would be more likely if they see it as their kids too.

Suggestions:
  • Make sure to drag Mari and Kagome into a high-security room (anti-hyuuga seals, at least).
  • Get a clock, some paper, and a writing implement.
  • After outlining the situation (deja vu + amnesia => probable esoteric mental effect), walk them through your thought process. Not what caused memory loss, what led up to the memory loss.
    • (Hopefully this will get Mari too.)
    • Take notes the entire time. Encourage Mari and Kagome to do the same. Pay attention to the clock.
  • Precautions:
    • Remove dangerous objects from the room. Get rid of seals. Precommit to not do anything with chakra.
    • Have Mari roll a D6 every minute you talk. Precommit to stop the discussion if it ever rolls a 1 six times in a row.
    • (If this is an outcome pump (Final Destination nonsense), let's give it tame-but-unlikely exit condition.)

It's charming how this thread's response to finding a reality-bending antimemetic monster is to immediately start poking it with a stick.

On a completely unrelated note, we should make plans for what to do in Mist after we roll up our next character.

Very tastefully done section, I appreciated it.

Note to thread: don't poke stacked implosion seals unless you want nukes. They're way too dangerous to carry around, so they're not all that useful in moderation, and 'more of the same' doesn't require Hazō levels of creativity to explore.

Conquer it, obviously. It's never been weaker. We can ally Ami, install her as a satellite Kage, and depose Ren, before going on to eat whatever remains of leaf after Kagome happened and then sweeping up the rest.

These are good suggestions for a memetic attack that causes people to lose time, but I'm not sure how Hazou would figure out that he needed them.
