SIR STOMPY: Do any of my voters object to me removing X?

_THE_BOMB: Yes, I do. I would like to continue X.

SIR STOMPY: Your objection is noted and dismissed.

?????

I feel like there was a miscommunication somewhere.

X was not ever removed. Therefore the objection is invalid.

Before the change, we stay for at least 6 and at most 8 subjective days and leave, then research more.

After the change, we stay for at least 6 and at most 8 subjective days and leave.

The change you're objecting to didn't happen. Therefore your objection is invalid.

From my perspective, you solicited objections to a potential change in your plan from your voters. Then, when I stated that I had an objection, I was hit with what felt like a harsh message dismissing my input.

That was what it initially appeared like to me.
Okay, well from my perspective, it looked like you were asking for giant changes to an action plan <8 hours before voting closes with zero justification.

So while I apologize for the tone, I do not think the request was at all reasonable and a complete dismissal was warranted.

Huh. It occurs to me (immediately after voting is closed, of course) that one thing we didn't test with the chakra water was increasing our chakra reserves. ...Fortunately, that is likely what Kagome is working on, so we will soon know.

Pinging also @Velorien @Paperclipped
After TR140 finishes, and only if Kagome is not yet ready to leave the grotto, prep 1 day and research Storm Runes/Remote Explosive w/ DoB (IFF they are Easy or Trivial).
@Cariyaga brought to my attention that there's still some confusing language in my plan.

After EJ's cryptic hint that it might be worth sticking around the grotto for another update I removed the part where we actually leave the grotto but I still wanted to prepare to leave, if that makes sense.

This is just intended to sync up Hazou and Kagome's cycles to avoid wasting time, not to leave the grotto quite yet.

Strawpoll here,

Do you think the QMs would enjoy Hidan and Deidara catching and killing Uplift.

Like for "Yes"
Hugs for "No"
Informative for "It's someone else"
Insightful for "Yes, it's Hidan and Deidara but they won't catch and kill us"
Funny for "Ami is back and she's spreading chaos"

Undoubtedly. That would be a dramatic, exciting, and compellingly tragic scene.

That said, I don't think EJ would skirt the limits of QM/player interference in order to trick us into getting ourselves killed, rather than for a mutually beneficial outcome. On the other hand, using reverse psychology in an attempt to trick us into escaping the Akatsuki closing in on us seems like something that's too nice for the QMs to permit themselves to do. So if something is going to happen, I'd expect it to be positive- or neutral-utility for us (taking the current amount of utility as the baseline).

So I say we should wait.

He also specifically said it as "it would be worth", which is not the phrasing QMs tend to use for their ominous memes. Saying something would be fantastic, or that they'd really enjoy writing that update, those are more common phrasings that hit more cleanly upon the notion of "this would be interesting and exciting even if the players wouldn't want it to happen".

But "worth"? Worth it to who? If it's "worth it to just the QMs and not the players", which is the only way this is a trap, then that's a very weird way to phrase it when the more conventional options are right there. Indeed, the lack of specificity instead gestures in the direction of it being generally worthwhile, of some benefit to QM and player alike. Maybe not to a large magnitude, maybe it's just that the opportunity for a compelling social scene will arise, but not something we'd regret.

I wonder how Sasori is managing chakra requirements for infusion. The Akatsuki don't have access to the Wakahisa. If Orochimaru (likely the best biosealer alive) is chakra-constrained without Noburi, maybe Sasori's research velocity actually sucks.
He doesn't have runes. Chakra requirements for Sealing are nothing special. Biosealing is probably the same, although we don't know for sure.
