That feels slightly different though? That's more him using the water as an external source, rather than him having it in the barrel permanently. He was talking about his bloodline for his normal VD uses, not whether him permanently being in cave bath mode with the water in his barrel might just permanently give him that benefit, which would be huge (especially with that triple cost)
Though maybe he said elsewhere that he tried the bath with his barrel and it didn't do anything, and I just missed it.
It was in the plan for that update and he said it didn't interact with his bloodline at all and that he can store chakra in it. I take that to mean he tried it in his barrel

It looks like the actual effect of the Chakrapool is to calm your Chakra, indirectly improving Chakrificiency. While replicating it with a seal or runes is one thing.. Have we tried drinking it? Bioengineering it into our Chakra system?
I suspect calmer chakra that follows orders more easily would probably be easier for Chakravores to drain. We should be more careful about that.

Could be interesting to find out whether there's any significant IR or UV light in between the pink and blue phases.
If a bathtub half-full of pool-water is stored, then more water direct from the pool is added, how much does it take to restore the effect?
What about if the tub starts out with water from some other source?
If two such tubs are connected by a siphon, how much sooner does whoever's sitting in the one to which the water is being directly added notice the effect resuming, relative to someone sitting in the other tub?
Might provide theoretical insights into the broader "chakra diffusion problem," thus benefits to technique hacking which pushes the limits of range and/or duration.
Understanding more about how chakra diffusion works might also be relevant to that.

Just giving a rough outline/ key points to hit and leaving EJ space to do the rest. this should be pretty good.
Because blabbling it id dumb and endangers our loved ones? better question, why would we say this now?

Nah these mfs are crazy unmotivated rn, they're just hoping for Hazou to pull a rabbit out of a hat - they think their lives are basically over (again). If they know they are fighting not just against Akatsuki but for something it changes things

It's possible not all of us will get nabbed, and Hazou is near-uniquely good at resisting direct interrogation.
Hazou has resolve: Yes and a chance to escape to the 7th path.
Tenten has resolve 20 and is stuck on the human path.
Kagome's Deciet is so bad that his resolve doesn't matter. He makes a great false information source if he thinks we genuinely went missing.
If Hazou is nabbed, it's over, he's not resisting interrogation by Itachi.
Kei and Kagome both know Naruto ordered them to go research Akatsuki killing weapons, so your argument there is nonsensical. If they find either of one them they'll be destroying Leaf for sure.
So the only place this preserves any sort of OPSEC is if Hazou, Kei, and Kagome are killed or forced on to the Seventh Path permanently and some of the rest of the team is captured. Which means the quest is over. I find myself not caring what happens to Leaf in those circumstances.
This is basically zero additional risk on our part.
@OrthernLight It's a bit of a stretch, but Orochimaru's cave could be one of the "seven rocks" mentioned in Cannai's poem housing some artifact or treasure. I wouldn't be too surprised if the pool itself is what the poem is pointing to, but I'd like to think there are other mysteries to find here. Still, supposing that the "Trees of wood and iron and stone" is describing the immediate area outside of the cave with the silvery shrubs, that seems like a point in our favor. In addition, we can point to the "shade" housing the "lost ones" as the otters and that tentacle thing we encountered.
The crystals covering the walls and ceiling would act as the bright treasure that gives "guidance" in the poem. Whatever we decide to do, more investigation would help and ES has and will be key for further solving this mystery. Perhaps we'll find something at the bottom of the grotto or further into the cave. Sounds fun either way.

Yeah, telling the rest of Uplift isn't adding an apriciable ammount of damage at this point.

Of the disciplines Hazou has theoretical access to, it sounds like this would be easiest to replicate with either Biosealing or Minatosealing. Makes sense that the Sannin would would have easily been able to exploit it with all three of Oro - Jiraiya - Tsunade having partial or total expertise in Biosealing or its adjacent fields
IIRC Hazou has tons of TH XP available from notes - how realistic would it be to unlock Minatosealing within a month or two? The Minatosealing paradigm also lends itself well to direct persistent combat buffs, which would make combat unstagnation a lot less perilous.
