Magic. Lore. Who knows.
I assume plans based on this will never work. AFAIK they haven't once in the history of the quest.

If there is a clear and convincing reason to think the TS would be able and willing to help I am fine asking them, in the absence of one, I am not. We are on thin ice with them.

As for the rest, don't worry about it. If someone takes the time and effort to WC optimize the plan, I would make an effort to fit additional stuff in. But I don't appreciate when people ask me to do an entire additional scene without realizing that that's 45min-1hr of work at least. If I can fit it at all.

I think also people don't often appreciate that their pet projects will not get done if we don't divert a significant amount of WC to them. The amount of QM investment in our ideas is largely correlated (although not perfectly --this is abundantly true regarding prep days) with the amount of WC we devote to it in our plans.

So if I do a quick one off bullet point of your idea, the QMs often don't notice it or care to engage with it, this usually looks like -- "the speech was done offscreen, the team seemed to appreciate it", or "the Toad Sages weren't interested in helping and seemed confused and angered when you asked them about it"

So it's happened before that people ask me to put stuff in and I say "there's no room" and they tell me it's like a 10 word bullet point at most and etc etc

If you want a scene where we send some peeps to look for the Scroll, that sounds cool. I think it could go in the next plan.

Leave an Akatsuki symbol, that'll confuse the hypothetical trackers.
Or an Ami symbol.
Or a Village Hidden in the Depths symbol, we can ask Kagome what's on their headbands... no, Depths probably doesn't even exist in this timeline so no one'll recognize it, I'd say Whirling Tides, but Leaf appropriated it, so people would just think we're from there... maybe Bear? Does Bear even have a symbol? Is there a Hidden Bear village? Does anyone on the team know their symbol if so?

...

[Χ] Don't leave a mark in the cave, but leave our mark in the cave

Hazou, Kagome, and Nobs need to be around for the research, Mari and Yuno are recovering from injury...

So, just Kei and Tenten? Lmao

I guess Mari and Nobs can also go when she heals her ?moderate? and Nobs has given us the needed insight for the water/smooth field runes

Just to clarify: Are we deciding on how we are marking the cave in this cycle? Because there's only 2.5hr left, and I don't know if a "treason dragon" marking is popular.
Yes, it was in the plan originally and taken out last night after some people objected. They're solidly in the minority so I am reinstating it.

EDIT: RC fail, I'm leaving it up to Hazou

Try to identify the older markings in the walls. Add one for Team Uplift

[X] Action Plan: Chakra SCIENCE

Does anyone remember what the XP ranges are for the standard genin, chunin, and jonin? Not that I think that really applies to Team Uplift, especially with the FOOM taxes and stuff, but I'm just curious.

1k is graduation xp

1k - 5k is roughly genin.

5k - 15k is roughly chuunin, but as you can see with Uplift, you can fail to have 3x 60s etc by 15k. Most jonin probably have more like 20k when they cross the true jonin line. 15k may be better described as spec jonin unless you're highly optimized.

Getting one 70 is like 25k-30k ish in practice? If you want to consider that "Ejonin." But it's pretty nebulous by this point since it's all build and trick dependent.

There's no good number for "S-Rank" XP Totals since it mostly just depends on trick quality by then. But getting 3x 80s costs roughly 40,000 XP (in practice, probably more.)

WR:1 plus that roll is enough that her target is probably gibbed and I'm not bothering with the math.
Just FYI EJ, not that it matters (it doesn't) attacks with explosives on kunai are Weapons:4
Everyone in the zone must dodge a TN:40 attack from the explosive.
All of the critters succeed
I am legitimately surprised that the chakravores dodged a 40. I thought they didn't have combat relevant stats. The kids weren't even boosting last fight and Hazou's Taijutsu is like 43...
There's another 'dodge the explosion' roll here. Everyone succeeds
Again??? No -9 or something??? All 30 of them had Ath 50 or more??? How did we win
Noburi, Athletics 45 + 9 (RRBs) + 8 (boost) - 5 (Hōzuki's Mantle penalty to Athletics) + 9 (dice) = 66
Oh Sage it's so BAD. Yeah we need to get this to 30. It's only not at 30 because we went so long not getting into fights. I'm pretty sure.
Another hit, another instance of the armor saving his ass
That thing is so OP. When you said in Discord that it was protecting Hazou from the magma is when I knew we had a chance here. Otherwise he would have been dead 5 times over.

Okay usually I don't do this but even I can tell that "even" sounds off here pretty sure you want to write this as "even more than most ninjas" or "then that of most ninja" ( though I'm not an writer myself so that may mean there might be better ways)

I really like the Monzaemon conversation. Something about it is very cozy.

she saw the first and flipped, kicked out, the movement slowing her and adding a sideways vector that let her duck beneath the first missile and pirouette as neatly as a dancer around the second before making one of her properly pointed retorts—except, instead of her point being expressed as sharp words intended to terrify or excoriate, this time it was expressed as sharp steel that went all the way through the weasel's brain and broke against the cavern floor.
Wow, I'm glad Kei doesn't retort like that to us (anymore, at least).

always send an explosive with your missive—it's only polite
I could see this line becoming another thread tag.

"Eh, early or late stuff, he's a little flowery for me,"
Well, to be fair, Hazou's favorite poet is probably Minato…

A couple of times we voted on it was beaten by some other priority, yeah. But, unless I'm mistaken, getting the apprentice water element stunt gets us to HM 30 effectively, for 1/5 the XP of leveling it. I'm not saying we don't level it also at some point, but we do at least want to see how SC goes first.

It seems fine to me (and neither of your suggested replacements do, possibly due to typos). "[Comparative] even than [X]" is standard English phrasing if you want to sound dramatic; it's just a rearrangement of "an even harsher school than that of most ninja" with the 'even' shifted around. Why do you think it sounds off?

Designate your highest leveled ninjutsu in your chosen Element as Primary. Add a bonus of +⅕ Primary when making rolls with other ninjutsu in the Element, capped by your level in Primary. This does not affect AB
HM won't get the bonus from the Apprentice stat.

That roll is made with WW, HM provides a bonus to that roll but is not rolled itself. Therefore EA won't apply to HM.

Thanks, I sincerely do appreciate feedback. In this case it's correct as written; it's a standard dramatic idiom although maybe it's less common these days? Dunno. Regardless.
