1- suposedly we arent badass enough to handale nature chakra, i still lobying to go into biosealing and make us super ninja.1- So why did we just abandon trying to find out sage mode? There are still tons of opportunities to find out information and we've just stopped. We haven't even bothered to talk to Kagome about it. We should try to find out what Tsunade knows. Talk to Ma & Pa about our ideas for a chakra farm and see if that shakes anything loose. Try to play different bosses against each other to get more info
2- We should start putting effort into getting Yuno SC. That way if decide want to have her start FOOMing can do so without committing treason. Plus a loyal jounin who can hit S-tank soon is a huge asset
I mean, he could totally have been made Jonin since then...Kagome-sensei nodded distantly. "Died right before I made chūnin. Decades of perfect sealing research, then one day he forgets to turn on the dispersion seal before experimenting, and bam! Self-replicating crystals everywhere. Oh, we got rid of them in time—cursed things turned out to be weak to fire—but they drained all the moisture in your body if they touched you, and he'd been right in the epicentre…"
My take is that we got a pretty solid confirmation that Sage Mode is locked behind some seriously high CR and Athletics/Physique. Like, high enough that it took Jiraiya ages to get ready and he acquired the toad scroll as a badass jōnin. So why did we just abandon trying to find out sage mode? There are still tons of opportunities to find out information and we've just stopped. We haven't even bothered to talk to Kagome about it. We should try to find out what Tsunade knows. I think "special jōnin" is basically a proto-jōnin.You already know everybody to be a chuunin except Mari ( jōnin, elite, yes it is totally a rank, just ask anybody), Yuno (jōnin, special, is that better or worse than elite?), Kagome (mumblemumble), and Snowflake (not a member of the Leaf armed forces).
"The last piece of the puzzle is how the money is divided. The eight founding clans of Leaf—Senju, Hyūga, Uchiha, Aburame, Inuzuka, Nara, Akimichi, and Yamanaka—receive seventy percent of the distribution, with the remaining thirty percent being divided between all the other clans and the clanless jōnin. Incidentally, this is why the 'special jōnin' rank exists, and why most special jōnin are clanless. Promoting someone all the way to jōnin means they get a slice of a fixed-size pie, so everyone else gets less. Promoting them to special jōnin means that they are eligible for jōnin-rank missions but don't get the shinies.
supposedly, which is why we need more information. One indirect statement and we stop. If we are not going to pursue this project I would like to do actual productive things.1- suposedly we arent badass enough to handale nature chakra, i still lobying to go into biosealing and make us super ninja.
2- we hit a botleneck on the amount chackra we can discreetly take.
Well what would you suggest that we do instead? If you have a plot or goal to achieve would love to hear itThere's certainly no reason not to pursue it further, but it just feels like it's lower on the priority since it's not unlockable anytime soon.
Mari: So... To me is free game?On this special day, I ask our honoured guests to refrain from vengeance for accusations made by some inconsequential man with delusions of grandeur
Absolutely! Here's my current thoughts on what we should do next (once our severes heal).supposedly, which is why we need more information. One indirect statement and we stop. If we are not going to pursue this project I would like to do actual productive things.
which is why I did not suggest having her start FOOMing now. I suggested that we start trying to lay the groundwork so that we can have the option to have her start FOOMing
Well what would you suggest that we do instead? If you have a plot or goal to achieve would love to hear it
Does anyone have any feedback on the revamped version of the plan? It's not wordcount optimized yet because I won't be proposing it until we have healed from our Severe Consequences.

I am a little unsure how detailed I can or should be on how to research 3D sealing. On the one hand, saying "theorize how to do 3D seals" is pretty useless and put's a lot of the work on y'all, but on the other sealing is pure technobabble and is thus too abstracted for me to outline any actual experiments. I tried to strike a middle ground here by leaving most of specifics up to Hazōpilot while still suggesting useful avenues of exploration and resources that might be helpful. Let me know if things need to be less (or, in theory, more) specific.
[ ] Future Plan: Investigating the Great Seal
Acquiring More Information
- Request permission from Asuma to look for DRAGONWAR-related information in Sand
- Having him pressure the Kazekage into assisting would be enormously helpful.
- Probe Sand Sealmasters for information on 3D Sealing and other esoteric sealing disiplines
- Probe loremasters (including at least one from the Yodomi) for information on:
- The Sage and his companions
- The Dragons and other powerful entities sealed by the Sage
- Have Noburi ask the Toads about Dragons and the Sage's companions
- Have Kagome and Kei investigate how Isan developed an entire sealing tradition from studying a single seal.
- Do you have any insights how we should reverse-engineer 3D sealing from just the Great Seal?
- Are there any major weaknesses in Isanese sealing that come from this? How might we avoid similar problems with our 3D sealing?
Ask Isolde how he originally defeated the Dragons
Researching 3D Sealing
- Probe Mist Sealmasters and loremasters (including Tama)
- With Asuma's permission, talk to Aunt Ren and a Kurosawa Sealmaster about the Great Seal and the Dragons.
- Explain how the Iron Nerve recorded details about the z-dimension.
- Ask about Iron Nerve (worth a shot)
- Is everything that gets recorded important?
- How does it know what to record?
- How can it record aspects about the Great Seal that I never saw?
- Is there anything else I should know that would help me prevent the imminent destruction of Seventh and then Human Path?
- Research how the build material affects 3D seals
- Try to identify the Great Seal's material.
- Consult with expert metallurgists and geologists
- Research what materials are capable of conducting chakra
- Ask Asuma for a full briefing on what the Tower knows about chakra metal
- Try making basic 2D seals with a chakra conductor that is not ink-based.
- Investigate whether this has been done before
- Attempt to recreate a 2D seal using earthshaping. Experiment with the shape of the "channel" (cylindrical, flat plane, etc.).
- Research how adding a third dimension affects sealing
- After theorizing from knowledge of 2D seals, try making theory from working backwards from the Great Seal
- Draw on insights from Leaf Sealmasters and Iron Nerve
- Use Isanese insights
- Use Earthshaping to try creating extremely basic 3D seals
- Focus experimentation on learning about 3D Sealing itself (leave investigating the mechanics of the Great Seal for later)
!!!
On the contrary, since she is not a Leaf citizen, she cannot commit treason at all.!!!
Snowflake can commit treason with no repercussions! Snowflake doesn't have to follow the Hokage's orders! Or Leaf laws!
This is how we get the Gouketsu treason numbers back up where they need to be! It's been a while since we've had a good dose of treason -- Shikamaru's actually stolen our thunder quite well with his latest antics.!!!
Snowflake can commit treason with no repercussions! Snowflake doesn't have to follow the Hokage's orders! Or Leaf laws!
I don't know what you're talking about, using a rules exploit to get away with doing something by technically not doing it is the most Gouketsu thing of all.On the contrary, since she is not a Leaf citizen, she cannot commit treason at all.
She really doesn't belong with the Gōketsu.
Or she's better than all of us --she can get away with it.On the contrary, since she is not a Leaf citizen, she cannot commit treason at all.
She really doesn't belong with the Gōketsu.
Fun date idea with the polycule?
So.
Being proactive:
Now that the Orochimaru crisis is over, we can afford to turn our focus to other things. Incidentally, there is a world war going on and a fight for reality itself to make it spicier. We should do something about that, before it does something to us.
That's all I can think of right now, hopefully we can figure out something useful to take the initiative on so this war arc can get all bold and exciting from it.
- World War IV
- Know victory
- So how are these wars even won, anyways? Is it, like, you run out of Essies? Too many causalties across the lower ranks? Economic pressures? If we want to win the war we first need to know what 'winning the war' looks like and then we can trace backwards from there to figure out what we'd need to do to achieve that.
- There's probably low-hanging fruit available in publicly-available research, and on top of that we can always schedule an appointment with one of the more learned of Leaf's top brass and pick their brain.
- New ideas
- Any new strategies, weapons, gambits, etc. Almost goes without saying.
- Double Barrel Zoo Rush is now a viable strategy as a joint Mist-Leaf attack, as has been mentioned. We can consult with people about the diplomacy of it and pitch it to Asuma.
- Villages are like a week apart so information travels slowly, and summoners can circumvent that. If Rock sends Han and Roshi to attack Sand then we can hear about it the day of and immediately launch an attack against Rock or prepare an ambush for Han and Roshi just outside it.
- Notable downside is that it exposes the summoner to some risk and means we can't use them in any Zoo Rush, but honestly it may be worth it just for the ability to coordinate across villages nigh-instantly.
- Sage mode. I don't have anything to say that hasn't already been said, but it's worth looking into.
- Essie killers
- If we know enough about an Essie, we can start to figure out what we'd need to throw at them to kill them, and if we can guess that we can assemble hypothetical kill-squads out of Leaf-nin with basic strategies and some contingencies for said Essie's secret hax. By having these plans ready we can assemble such teams very quickly if the opportunity presents itself.
- This also includes Akatsuki
- We should also look into bijuu sealing, see what the requirements and limits are. Killing Han or Roshi would be a big win for Leaf, killing them and taking their Bijuu would be a masterstroke.
- Akatsuki
- We still have no idea what their plans, if any, are, and there's a decent chance that WWIV is what'll finally get them to make their next move.
- We can't know what they will do, but we should probably figure out what they mightdo and what we can do in response.
- This is likely a 'Shikamaru flips to page' situation, but we also have personal experience with Hidan and Itachi and that may prove valuable.
- Dragonwar
- It's great that we have HOWS, but I'd really like if we could know how well they're working. Can we make some diagnostic seals that examine the ambient conditions around the Great Seal, using what we know of how it works and what HOWS is doing?
- We know that there's going to be some trouble in arranging travel from the Conclave to Arachnid territory. Most notably we have the roadblock that is Rat and Leopard blocking the direct path west.
- Other options include going north through Hyena (except nobody trusts Hyena) and going all the way south through Turtle (but we don't know what's west of Turtle).
- We can ask Neji to investigate the Turtle attitude towards the Crusade and maybe get some basic information on their western neighbours so we're not flying blind if we go that way.
- We can also go into Hyena ourselves once we recover, with or without a Dog diplomatic entourage, and try to figure out if we can get Hyena agreement, and if not then figure out what obstacles we'll need to be prepared for.
- We should also investigate the path further west. Dog and Hornet are most likely safe territories which means we can route beneath Bear, but we don't know what's between Hornet and Arachnid. We could detour north through Cat (with obvious problems) or maybe south through Squirrel and Kangaroo (with unknown problems), but before that we should find out what's on Arachnid's eastern border and whether they're likely to cooperate with the Crusade.
- Necromancy
- Unfortunately we can't progress the main questline because Kagome is busy and with WWIV we can't spare the time to head back down to O'Uzu anyways, but maybe wedon't have to go?
- We can ask Kagome if a Genin/Chuunin sufficiently familiar with the diagnostic seals could operate them and record all the relevant data for us. We'd have to give them sufficiently good directions to the rift scar, but at worst we get nothing and have to wait until we can go ourselves anyways, and if things go well we could get a head start on the next step.
I mean, we aren't dead yet and we've committed treason multiple times. Hell, we're still in power.
I would like to point out that we have never actually committed treason. We were exonerated of all chargesI mean, we aren't dead yet and we've committed treason multiple times. Hell, we're still in power.
Assuma: ok i believe you.I would like to point out that we have never actually committed treason. We were exonerated of all charges
