I'm a fan of getting the Rocket Boot stunts, myself, but that's just me.

Why give her the rocket boot stunts when we can teach her PH instead?

[X] Training Akane: Pantokrator's Chakra Hammer
Chakra Reserves 31 (572 XP)
Pantokrator's Hammer 10 (627 XP)
Save 2 XP

Because I'd rather we have the extra chakra than the will-possibly-get-nerfed-to-not-allow-nukes EM. Here's the alternate version:

[] Training Akane: Hot Chakra Hammer
Chakra Reserves 30 (510 XP)
Pantokrator's Hammer 10 (565 XP)
Katon: Elemental Mastery 20 (617.5)
Save 11.5 XP

Because I do want EM nukes.

[X] Hijack the Narrative

Get ideas approved by the clan first.

  • Work together to get Asuma elected, if he agree. Get KEI ninja and the clans behind him. Get the MC or civilian leadership to stand with the ninja. Present a united front to Rock and increase village cohesion. Help and assistance are accepted, but Leaf remains Leaf.
  • Hijack Rock's presumed proposed narrative for our own purpose:
    • Blame the attack on Akatsuki, or a made-up terrorist organization. Regain the initiative to Leaf's favor.
    • Use it to form Ninja UN(An organization for discussing peace and cooperation) and send ambassadors.
    • May be necessary to cooperate with Akatsuki behind the scene?
  • Are people still living in tent on the estate? Fix that.

Making a real plan. Increase nationalism while being grateful for assistance. Also hijack Rock for our own purpose.

@eaglejarl @OliWhail @Velorien

You don't mind reviewing some time later?

[X] Let EJ write what he wants. We trust him.

@Velorien @OliWhail if you had to pick the most defining moment of mfd for you, what would it be? I want to commission some artwork for mfd to say thanks.

EJ put dibs on Hazou convincing Kagome to teach him sealing :p

@Velorien @eaglejarl Hey, how would you guys feel about a once-a-month bonus chapter incentive on your patreons? That way you wouldn't feel the need to cleave to player plans as much (and in exchange we get information we wouldn't otherwise :p), and you could write worldbuilding details we wouldn't otherwise get to see.
I'm not quite clear on what you're suggesting. Could you elaborate?

I don't think this is so much a plan as a policy statement for players to discuss amongst themselves. There are no implementation details for the QMs to write.

having Ino as Hazou's GF
Honestly, we've ignored so many priceless opportunities to ruthlessly manipulate her into liking us impress her that I'm irrationally, but completely, dejected about pursuing this objective.

I think @Cariyaga suggests the following: each month, if a certain funding goal is met (e. g., $1000 of donations), you or EagleJarl write a bonus MfD chapter on a topic of your choosing. This directly incentivizes donations, gives you an excuse to write chapters on your preferred topics (Ami or Keiko; punching) while simultaneously presumably providing you with the spoons to do so, and gives us more chapters.

Or at least that's how I think this idea is supposed to work.

And this is why I'm glad that it's specifically Akane that will having nuking capabilities, as opposed to virtually anyone else.
If anything, the last couple chapters are pretty solid evidence that you don't actually need to try that hard to cook up a solid way to destroy a ninja village and kill a bunch of high level folks at the moment anyway.

I'm optimistic we'd be able to wipe most of Rock off the map after acquiring key tactical data on terrain and targets of strategic interest.

I am confident that, if we focused on the task for up to ten updates and two IC months, we'd be able to destroy any given in-universe entity we're currently aware of (and only that entity), including all S- and A-ranked ninja and major villages.

Exceptions: Orochimaru, the Five Voices, (maybe) the Tailed Beasts, (maybe) the Bear anomaly.
