I was all prepared to log on and troll the players in my usual fashion by dropping cryptic comments about flaws in the plan.

This is no longer happening as I am too busy screaming in Kagome.
:thonk:

Mmhmm, you sure about that?

Hana, Jiraiya, Mari, or Noburi(if he comes back in a timely manner) would have told Hazō to manage the situation and damage control.

Also, Lord Hokage would be capable of banning Anko from the clan compound.
What, exactly, good does banning Anko from the clan compound do?

It is not damage control in the slightest. It is not a sufficiently public, blatant response.

Furthermore, banning Mari's friend from the compound sounds like a terrible idea given her current mental state.

If it isn't effective, then I am sure JIraiya would think of something else? I am unsure why everyone is still screaming and panicking when the NPCs would realized we goofed up?

Because both of the NPCs in a position to do anything are busy. Jiraiya's being hokage, Mari's crying her eyes out, and if Hazou finds out what she did there's gonna be hell to pay for Hana.

For the record: Over the past almost-three years, there has been a particular character that y'all have spent a considerable amount of energy thinking about. I had a really juicy scene that involved him in a major way. Sadly, @Velorien convinced me not to write it because he felt that it would offer too much OOC information. It's a shame...y'all know how much I enjoy punching, and this scene would have provided a lot of information on the metaplot.

Ah well. I guess I'll just have to spend that energy on the fallout from the orgy.

Code:
            bus
EJ =>      Velorien

Noburi met Zabuza.

Pretty sure Noburi is the one character we didn't think that much about. He is socially well adjusted and mentally healthy. Really he should help us instead of going on cool adventures without us.

You know, this is repeatedly crossing over between "highly amusing" and "screaming in Kagome" in my head.

Funny and Screaming in Kagome really are two sides of the same rating.

Doubtful. Noburi isn't likely to kill himself in the offstage part of the next update.

EDIT: In seriousness, I haven't actually done any rolls yet so nothing is certain at this point.
You know, your edit lets us know that there isn't going to be combat between Noburi and Zabuza in the next update. After all, there would be zero need for rolls, Noburi would just die.

Might want to reword that if your intent is to sow proper seeds of Screaming in Kagome.

I'd personally be willing to burn most of the EN to the ground in revenge, whos with me?

I think this kind of thing only works if people are aware of the precommitment ahead of time (as a deterrent), and it is limited in scope to only seeking retribution against the most culpable of the offending parties (not an effective deterrent if you don't follow through). Otherwise you just descend into mindless intergenerational feuding.

Oh oups I missed the vote huh. Well at least it wouldn't have mattered.

It's fine I'm sure Ino will tell us how to fix things.
