As a note, you just sort of assume she'll be OK with it. We'll probably need to properly ask her if it's alright given political circumstances and so on, especially when it comes to bloodline stuff that we'll definitely want her help with because nobody else can offer what she can on that topic.

The new standard could be put into a reference book that's like a modern style or citation guide.

That's not how sealing works.

Every sealmasters have to invent their own languages completely from scratch for themselves, probably to fit their individual chakra system.

10-30% of time awake is between ~2 and 5.5 hours.

Can't sealmasters infuse other sealmasters' blanks? Or were all those instances a sealmaster making the blank in another sealmaster's style?

Hazou can use the iron nerve to perfectly copy other sealmasters versions of seals, so he can mass produce them and have said sealmaster infuse them (as we did with Jiraiya).

@MMKII I like the plan, for training with Mom, can we specifically put a request to "ask about any Kurosawa techniques". These techniques were of course taught to us before we left for the Noodle Incident v1.0, we just need a refresher. A very detailed refresher.

Also, any ideas for reaching out to Neji?

For now, I'd like to say that if Hazou's Aspect mostly expressed itself in this way - being awkward in a broader social setting - I'd be perfectly happy with it. I really liked the way the compel played out here. What I don't like about the Aspect is the possibility that we vote for Hazou to try to cheer up Mari, and he makes things worse as he did with Keiko. Or we do lunch with Ino and he ruins that relationship somehow. Being incentivized not to meaningfully interact with people is not very fun,

More is always better, and we have yet to properly go through the pool to examine the techniques, spend ages arguing about their plausibility, balance and whether we dare put them in player hands, and then figure out a shortlist.

I'm... less happy with this. Because, like... This whole thing, there was nothing we could really do about because apparently Lee is infectious to Keiko, and now the well is poisoned with:
  • Ino (in particular)
  • Nakano (in particular)
  • Konoha (as a whole)
e: It just makes me feel really powerless to do anything in the quest.
 
So we were talking in the Discord and I want to bring this to the attention of the QMs.

(CCNJ: this is memeing, I'm not actually salt.)

[✓] Pull an inverse Minori on Shiori.
Make Kagome reduce her into a fine mist by means of extradimensional retcon, right before she asks Nakano about the orgy.

Pretty much this.

I would prefer not to have to treat each social interaction like a nuclear minefield. I am glad that not doing so has produced pretty good results, but the perfectionist in me would like to see this improved to Very Good if possible.

It's OK, this isn't a disaster. It'll be a funny anecdote for people. 'You remember that time you were convinced the Hokage was hosting an orgy at the game night?' 'Please don't remind me.'

There's no need to panic just because things went a little awry in a funny way.

Allow me to reiterate, and clarify: this is a joke. I am not annoyed, panicked, angry, or anything negative about the update.
 
Just glanced at the Discord after the above comment RE inverse Minori. I just wanted to say that I don't consider "I'm not comfortable with this on a personal level" to be a salt-type comment. Whether I agree with people who feel that way or not (I probably don't, given I chose to write this update), it's important to have the feedback so I can better gauge where this community's line is. For example, enough people were uncomfortable with the orgy part of the update that I'll be more careful next time I write anything in the same ballpark, and knowing exactly what made them uncomfortable would help with that.

Compare and contrast the running joke about Keiko being tied up, which hasn't generated any negative feedback. It's important for me to know what makes the difference.

It looks like, from Ino's section here, that she understands that there was never an orgy planned to begin with, but that Hazou was unable to quell the rumour when Anko attempted to start the orgy herself.

Given that Anko's reaction to the rumour cut short the rest of the night and Hazou's blunder made the end that much more awkward, I figure Ino's more angry that Hazou let things get that awkward and failed to stop Anko from ruining the rest of game night.

I figure that the same goes for the other guests, since Hazou was very vehement in his attempts to oppose Anko, however fruitless those attempts were. Someone like Nakano or Shiori, who were half-expecting something like this already, might not get it, but it will make sense in retrospect if we make the effort to explain it to them.

Man, where's Noburi when you need him? Talking to people like this and getting them to understand that it was all a misunderstanding is right in his ballpark. Sending Hazou is dangerous, sending Keiko is also dangerous, sending Kagome is dangerous for different reasons, sending Jiraiya is overkill and Mari's in no fit state to help... Hana? Maybe we can talk to Kurenai or Asuma and ask them to help, I figure they're wise enough to Anko's antics that they'll believe Hazou.
