Does anyone think it worthwhile to hide that the oxygen masks are protection against Doigama's poison so on the off-chance he betrays us he won't know to target them?

We could tell them they're protection against something we do.

Or did Birdking tell us we could get straight to punching without worrying about social shenanigans?

Feel that us losing our teammates still screws us because of Moderate Consequences/KO. Best to avoid the situation wholesale.

[X] Action Plan: Zabuza the Pangolin

Looks good. Still kinda unconvinced about the half-word-based manipulation plans, but everyone seems pretty gung-ho about it so maybe I'm missing something *shrug*.

1. What do we do if Kato lied about his chakra capacity? I'm inclined to drain him if the rest of the team agrees, and not listen to excuses.
Drain the stinker. Or, if we (the hivemind) think we know what his goals are (get into tournament and kick butt after taking out the top teams and betraying us? Betray us in order to get tons of cash from Mist?), then maybe try to use that to force him to fight for us somehow? ... yeah, just drain the stinker.

2. How many "friendlies" do we let each person designate? One per person sounds ok to me.
One per person sounds good to me.

3. Do we injure people who surrendered to us? I don't expect many surrenders, and certainly not from top teams, so I think we can be merciful and just drain them to unconsciousness.
*Looks at Keiko and her 20 ft tall murderbeasts* Expect a few more.
More seriously, yeah, drain them and maybe offer to 'escort' them to the medics if that only takes them out for this round. Are we letting ISC join the rampage if they want?

@faflec I don't remember the "Pankrator's Eyes" (pangolin skytowers) being retconned - we sold them seals for their war against the condors, so they have to be able to use them.
The relevant quote:
The pangolins are busy researching seal activation, as their chakra systems are very different to human ones, and are not interested in further seal trade until they can train soldiers capable of actually using the things.
Edit: Yes, I know they managed it. But like @Cariyaga said, our Pangolins probably don't have those skills yet.

Looking at the discussion around that, we tested it on "lots" of steelbacks, and one or two entered respiratory distress. Looking up respiratory distress...

"Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) occurs when fluid builds up in the tiny, elastic air sacs (alveoli) in your lungs. The fluid keeps your lungs from filling with enough air, which means less oxygen reaches your bloodstream. This deprives your organs of the oxygen they need to function."

So, yeah, Macerator Pangolin Pepper Spray is potentially lethal. Though if we're bursting eardrums would we really need it?

@eaglejarl, @Velorien, @OliWhail - Is Noburi able to do anything about a human experiencing respiratory distress with his med-nin magic?

A thought: We could interrogate our Blue Team regarding arrangement of all other Teams. We were chosen first so that we won't know who is on which team; perhaps our opponents were chosen last, or at least closer to the end, and therefore know where everyone is? The knowledge could be of some use.

@Roomba, @faflec?

Interrogation takes time. We need to continue the pain train, rather than take time to interrogate. Drain, steal word halves, move on.

...We should let Keiko lay out strategy for this event. Hazou can handle tactics for specific fights fine (such as breach and clear, etc.), but this is a great opportunity for Keiko to get leadership experience.

I'm honestly not sure about this one. In the past some people have mentioned that Banshee Slayers lasted 10 minutes, but when prompted QMs said they weren't sure. Or maybe I'm just lazy, who knows?

@eaglejarl @Velorien @OliWhail How long do Banshee Slayers last?

We will still need to interrogate people to find the key and the documents. It won't take up that much time, comparatively, unless they're all adamantly uncooperative, in which case we also can't find the documents and therefore fail.

We're taking the half words regardless, can't afford not to. We're also keeping the ones belonging to top teams, no matter what. As for the rest, it's nice to find some kind of use for them, and they potentially solve the problem of being ganged up on in round 2. I'm willing to consider alternatives, though.

Hm... What do you guys think about a pep talk from Hazou to the team? I bet @eaglejarl would enjoy writing that.

I'm willing, though I'm not fully confident in Hazou pulling it off, especially in his post-breakup depression. Thoughts, everyone?

Documents will be in lockboxes. We can just explode the lockboxes with real explosives to deal with them. Many will be trapped anyways.

I'm pretty sure Zabuza Hazou could channel his sadism enough to talk up the legend they'll be when they pull this off. :p
