@Briefvoice Should specify that only Hazou spends the 10XP, since Keiko/Noburi/Akane don't have the Deceit to make it worthwhile.
Sure, now specifies him by name.

Combat applications, too, for one-turn-trap seals.I am actually really enthused at the idea of Hazou having the Sleight of Hand stunt and being able to pull off minor feats of prestidigitation. Seems like there are all sorts of applications we could think up for that, whether it be entertaining some children with party tricks, picking someone's pocket, planting and activating a seal in a room under someone's nose, etc.
Of course, she usually has to actually with some sort of physical attack that can be dodged.
That's priced pretty well... and it starts to build a nice repertoire of abilities for infiltration jobs.
Besides, if they thought that numbers were enough to defeat her...well, they might not like what happened next.
Hazou tells Noburi and Keiko the details about what his mother said to him when they met.
Very vague about banshee seals unless we actually have to use it
The body was interesting; taller than her own, but with a surprisingly low center of gravity for a man.
INO HAS 41 DIE IN SHINTENSHIN AND IT'S ROLLED AGAINST RESOLVE THAT IS INSANE IT'S A LITERAL GGWP IF IT HITS HOLY FUCK KAGOME WAS RIGHT WE'RE ALL GONNA DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
So we don't want to take Haru with us to the Yakuza? I liked that idea because it let Haru learn Hazou's circumstances in a fairly natural way.
If we want to talk about the deal Ren offered Hana, I think we should do it under an Air Dome. Don't recall if there was anything else in that conversation worth being paranoid over.
We can also just withhold that piece of info until we want to discuss clan diplomacy - that will have to go under a dome anyway.
Probably want to discuss clan diplomacy with Jiraiya present only who probably has better privacy seals than we do.
Vagueness is futile here. The others would be able to guess that a seal loud enough to be heard that far away would be cripplingly loud at combat distance.
I'm not sure. But we should either go full disclosure or full OPSEC in this case. If we really want banshees as a trump card for the tournament... then full OPSEC.
But I will note that only 16/300 ninja reach the tournament. If we want in we seriously need to be taking out the top candidates before it starts.
This read to me as "Clan kid using his clan wealth to buy his way out of a problem". Same general thrust of dislike, but a different source which would probably be relevant in the talks.Hazou noticed that Yamamoto tensed up as soon as Nara brought up buying the seals. Buying our way of a problem ticks him off?

It might also go without saying a little, but the 'discuss how to find the exam' section could use a caveat for 'none of these are needed if we get the location from the Yakuza'.
As far as I can recall, the only time you've ever been in a genjutsu was when Mari hit you with Truth Lost in the Fog early on. You were unable to break out of it, but TLF is one of those trump-card jutsu that breaks certain normal rules. You have never been mind-probed by a Yamanaka so you don't know how that works.I forget if our Abnormal Mental Character changes how we interact with mental jutsu or not. I know we don't have any special resistance to genjutsu, but I'm not sure if that's perfectly general?
We do not have such a skill at this time, but I wouldn't say it's impossible. In general it's more a situational QM-judgement thing.Fair point, though I would be surprised if there was an attack skill/jutsu that didn't require a roll. Want to clarify, @eaglejarl?
You normally would, but I judged that in these particular circumstances -- in public, tired, standard level of watchfulness but reasonably confident in their safety -- it was reasonable for it to be an auto-hit.So then do we not roll to hit against them at all if we're attacking from ambush? That seems to be the implication.
I would be hella amusing if Hazao autotrumps Yamanaka mind techniques by the sheer force of thoughts by the questbase. As far as I can recall, the only time you've ever been in a genjutsu was when Mari hit you with Truth Lost in the Fog early on. The amazing thing is Keiko having a more successful love life than Noburi. Hazou outpacing Nobby was bad enough, but Keiko...
