The Arachnids have not killed a Dragon, no.About finding proof.. Have the arachnids managed to kill a dragon yet? We could get the Bosses to kill one and then parade it's preserved body around in the 7th path for starters.

Just saying, I think 5SB'd spidersilk traps have a very good chance of killing or crippling a Dragon. We (hopefully) should have Arachnids and Hornets trained on seal activation by now. While luring the Dragons off the butte they could take one to a prepared ambush site where it is lured into flying into the silk and either dies immediately or is dispatched by the waiting ambush.

[X] Training plan Hazō
Spend 27 Yamanaka XP
Resolve 26 -> 27
Save 1.42 yamanaka xp and 412 normal xp
Also I'd like to note we have enough xp right now to get earthshaping up to 41, if we want to check if the shiny is behind that barrier. Also, we need to see if the earth dragon bullet or equivalent exists, we really need to make element half costs work for us if we want to be decent in combat, if cannai continues to not like us.
On that note, should we do some preliminary research into someone else to give the scroll to? We could start teaching akane summoning, or maybe Harumitsu and give the Hagoromo a coniption

Oh yeah Plan B is to run the fuck away and don't risk any assets we can't lose in the first place. Actually that's Plan C, Plan B is to hit them with implosion seals and a bunch of different kinds of macerator and youthanizer, Earbuster, Goo Bomb etc. everything we've got.I think that definitely is worth trying, but I'd like a plan B, in case it doesn't fully kill them or they have some extra BS power, since we want it to be able to work again, which means we need to make sure the one we use it on ends up dead.
it's time! For Armageddon-lite Initiative. This to end this war and concentrate on the important stuff.
[X] Action Plan: Armageddon-lite Initiative
Wordcount: 376
Sanity Check With Mari, Shikamaru, Kei
- Asuma
- The Great Seal is cracked.
- We're officially trying to recreate the work of the Sage of the Six Path, let him have mercy on us all.
- Personally. Hazou is furious, he's struck in Leaf, watching everyone else going into the meatgrinder, too weak and busy to help. People are dying because of two land-grabs, so:
- Summon Boss Rush.
- Use the Great Seal to convince the Summon Bosses to fight.
- Carrots, Leaf will put fixing the seal as it's priority:
- Direct all their Sealmasters on it
- Putting Orochimaru on it
- He worked on the Akatsuki world changing seal.
- Contact other villages
- Use all their summoners to help with the seal.
- Put Scroll hunts on high priority, so that more summoners can help.
- Do not attack other summoners if they collaborate on the Seal, unless attacked.
- Last ditch effort: Leaf will contact the Akatsuki, the only people that made a similar seal. (Only if Mari approves)
- All of this once the war is over.
- Sticks:
- Leaf is currently against an existential threat, so:
- Oro must fight in the war, other Villages are busy/enemies and cannot be contacted, some sealmaster are needed for the war.
- Insurances:
- Crusade-like contract. Bosses that help with the attacks won't be attacked by other members of the contract.
- All members of the contract will defend the ones that participate in case of aggression.
- Leaf will personally retaliate with their Summoners + the clans that accepted the Contracts against aggressive clans.
- Summon Boss Rush:
- Get close to Rock(Summons can reach Rock), Summon Bosses/Elite Jonins, run away.
- The Summons attack. Not to win, but to damage the enemy.(Direct Assault? Patrols?)
- Repeat day after day until needed.
- Noburi will recharge Chakra, the double Wakahisa Zoo Rush is also possible. Ami is now ambassador of Mist and she knows about the Great Seal.
- Use Condors to make the travel faster/safer.
- Unrelated, you feel Conjura could be an asset.
- She can fly. She also has a perfect way to be convinced: help freeing the Condors once Leaf is stable. But we'll need to be careful on how she deployed because of her grudges.
- It's a complicated and difficult plan, the prize? We win the war. No more losses.
Summoners should approach Rock from different direction, and Boss Summons should also vary their direction of approach for further indirection. This should be determined by dice rolls if possible.
Also, I feel naked with only Orochimaru as body guard. I hope we will have more body guards for summoners.

Aren't boss summons horrifically expensive? Considering the slugs are just one slug, is Oro the only one with the coils to do so, nevermind the clout (yes, I know Asuma can too, but he can't exactly go to the frontlines). The fact that many of the bosses seem unconvinced of the great seal issue (including now currently Cannai?) Means that is isn't as much leverage as this implies. Plus, it would leave us very open to attack if we did it day after day.
Asking Akatsuki and other villages for assistance is interesting, but there's significant issues with trust there. Them trusting us it is real, and us trusting them to not stab us in the back. I just wish there was a way to have proof. It's almost worth inventing photography for. Except that Spider Wife might murder us for even thinking that. Alas.
Wasn't Asuma stated to have reserves big enough to hold several jonin's worth of chakra and still have room for more? I vaguely remember Noburi saying he had a huge chakra capacity or something.Tsunade can probably summon it, Oro can, Asuma can. The Jonins can use Noburi's overcharge if needed.
They cost about 500 cp, that's a normal amount of chakra for a Jounin to have. With Noburi for refills we could plausibly get Snake, Slug, Monkey, Condor, and Porcupine on the field. Toad as well if Nobs can pick up 5-7 more levels of CR.Aren't boss summons horrifically expensive? Hazo, in character, has a long and proud history of running his mouth and failing to consider consequences. He wasn't stupid out of nowhere. This is a well-established failure mode of his and it's our responsibility to stay in front of that. We didn't include any language to the tune of 'check with Cannai first' and that is on us.Because I can guarentee you that the Hivemind definitely did not intend to make a plan that made Hazo's go behind Cannai's back, nor threaten Kabuto's life for that matter.
Personally. Hazou is furious, he's struck in Leaf, watching everyone else going into the meatgrinder, too weak and busy to help. People are dying because of two land-grabs,

Just chiming in again, I asked a couple weeks ago about this based on IC knowledge and I think we can assume that it's very plausible we can do this.Tsunade can probably summon it, Oro can, Asuma can. The Jonins can use Noburi's overcharge if needed.
Actually.... Noburi has refilled all the Summoners. So he should be able to estimate all of their reserves. @eaglejarl @Velorien does the Condor Summoner have chakra reserves more than twice the size of Hazou? That would be enough to summon a Boss.
More than twice Hazou's reserves is 54 CR minimum, for 540 cp, with 5% free overcharge that's 567 cp, just enough to summon a Boss for 555 cp.
Aren't we going to run into chakra water poisoning after a few repetitions? Did we test if the excess water-clearing jutsu worked to avoid the poisoning?

That would inform Mist of the secret behind Leaf's Summon-Rush. It would also mean Mist has to commit to the war against Rock since they're sending their own shinobi to assist Leaf directly against Rock.Noburi will recharge Chakra, the double Wakahisa Zoo Rush is also possible. Ami is now ambassador of Mist and she knows about the Great Seal.
I don't think we can promise that since we have nothing to give the Pangolins that is worth more than an entire Clan of slaves.Unrelated, you feel Conjura could be an asset.

Might want to make it clear that only Mari is hearing about this bit. No need to propose treason to Shikamaru right off the bat.Last ditch effort: Leaf will contact the Akatsuki, the only people that made a similar seal. (Only if Mari approves
Hold up, we don't know for sure we need to create an entirely new Great Seal. Have we even tried to repair the current one yet? It's cracked yes, but we don't even tested if Earthshaping could repair those cracks. Let's not jump to conclusions and decide the current Great Seal is unsalvageable before we gain more information.
