*SCREAMING IN KAGOME*

Minato's true name ("Sparkdancer") is a good one. A spark of hope in a dark world, and "dancer" implies a certain... innocent/genuine joie de vivre. It's telling, and what it tells is good.

I was reviewing the media threadmarks and noticed the List of Memes. In particular, this one:

"EagleJarl Is Being A Literal Genie": One of the QMs' inclination to deceive or tease the thread by making "only technically correct" statements about the in-story world or the QMs' intentions.
I would like it clearly understood that I have never intentionally told an untruth to the players. There are times when I have said something that proved to be incorrect because my brain is made of cheese, but I have never intentionally lied.

Furthermore, I am not in fact a literal genie. I am fully human and genies do not exist.

Let me stress once more that everything in this post is literally correct and should not be doubted. Pinky swears and/or crossings of cardiac muscle are available on request, albeit in limited numbers because I am aware of the players' willingness to exploit QM words and I do not wish to be DDOSed with requests. ;>

Is a shadow clone conjured by an earth clone also an earth clone?

Yes and no. It's more that the statement is incoherent, insofar as it's not possible to be literally vs figuratively correct. You'd probably want "technically correct", but I don't think that has a direct opposite.
Fair point. I concede.
Me too. @eaglejarl gets two meme entries and a quest tag.
Not being on this list brings us great shame
Off the top of my head, to be unusually viral, a meme needs to be:
  • Distinctive. (Unusual, weird, funny, etc. Being surprising or causing an emotion.)
  • Concrete. (That is, easy to refer to or invoke. A meme that codifies a certain subtle shift in speech patterns, or one that encompasses a broad range of behaviours, is unlikely to go viral. A memorable phrase or picture or an overly exaggerated speech pattern, on the other hand...)
  • Functional. (That is, it should be such that there'd be a reason people would routinely invoke it. Otherwise, no matter how memorable and tangible it is, it'd get forgotten.)
As such, I can only suggest identifying whatever quirks you have, wrapping them in a memorable package, then putting on an exaggerated persona of yourself with these quirks ramped up to eleven.

... Or I suppose you could bribe me instead. Mm, but we'd need to make the List of Memes itself more popular first. If it becomes the official, frequently-consulted record of the thread's social reality, I'd be able to directly edit memes in existence by manipulating it. Something to consider.

What do people think about having the Isan seal masters working on figuring out the great seal?
