Robert Oppenheimer weeps in despair for he knows he can never become as Destroyer of Worlds-y as Morezou.
Ami when we where in Mist was mostly tolerable. She was competent but working at an acceptable level. Ami Post battle of the gods a force of nature who is playing politics at a level past social spec S-rankers. She waltz in to enemy territory and freely manipulated their politics. She has essentially become a Marry Sue in my opinion. She constantly breaks my suspension of disbelief. This is further contrasted with how Hazō is treated as basically total fuck up even though they are very close to the same age. That said, the actual reason you have this favour is her screwing up her personal life so badly that Hazō could make it better.
I acknowledge you.Edit: This isn't funny! I perfectly predicted her behaviour; she played right into our hands. I demand acknowledgment!
No. And they never were, either.
Not really. The discussion does nothing for us. I'd like to show some initiative
I express confusion with your response. In the proposal I outlined, we would still be getting a deal out to the Uchiha which will be either accepted or fully declined, which solves your issues of "moving things forward" and "actually making progress".Not really. The discussion does nothing for us. I'd like to show some initiative

Yes the initiative is good. The discussion however does not give the player base anything. We have our demands that the Uchiha can accept or not. We don't need to waste QMs spoons writing a discussion. We do not need to waste plan space. We can just move this forward. By talking we just delay and give the hivemind less time and information to act in the future. The opportunity cost is to highYour response claims your issues to be, from my understanding, that the discussion has no value and does not show initiative. I cannot reply to the value of the discussion as I do not know what you would consider a valuable discussion, but surely you can see that we are taking positive action (read: initiative) to make the deal with the Uchiha?

Ask them how their families are doing . Were they hit at all by the tragedy? Is there anything we can do to help? Also, I think the dinner sections in both are insufficient; could anyone give me an idea of what we could talk about aside from "Jiraiya" and "be my agents, gang"?

we should see how he feels about Uchiha girls

Right, so some of this stuff I disagree with you on, though I do understand your reasoning. Speaking for myself only, I think the discussion does give us the benefit of sanity checking this with the others, such that IF Mari is compromised in some negative fashion we aren't stabbing ourselves in the foot by having her be our only backup when negotiating with the Uchiha. It also avoids the future drama of what will happen when the rest of the clan finds out about it, which is solved by having them know from the get-go.Yes the initiative is good. We tend to make them better, too. Compared to this shithole of a setting, the afterlife might actually be better.
Quest tag?
Personally, I'd prefer eliminating her. She's smarter than all of us (Keiko maybe excepted), and she's completely unpredictable. She's the most dangerous character we've come across, Zabuza included, and her death would go a long way to making us more secure.A curiosity, am i the only one that wants an actual discussion with her(Once this whole Hat thing is over)? Not "Hivemind tries to maximize Ami favor/power/Ect", just an honest to god conversation about her with, well, her? Saying "Fuck no" to her attempts to ignore dialogue?
"My wish is for you to tell me the exact ways in which I'm doomed."Hmmm. Maybe we should have used the favor just to have Ami tell us exactly what she is trying to achieve (especially in Leaf, but also in general), and how she is trying to achieve it.

Other stuff...I don't see it. Yes, if you think the scene is unnecessary we'd just be wasting QM spoons to write the discussion, but we're still moving things forward and aren't delaying anything. By my reckoning Mari is still going to get the deal over to the Uchiha and make a final draft, with no more discussion. That's not something that will take a week, that's the work of two or three hours, if I'm reading the speed Mari's working at correctly. I don't see the opportunity cost of 2-3 hours as being too high, and I'm not even sure what information cost will be lost here (though, admittedly, I'm not sure what I'm even working with on information cost).
Side note: I think I'd be willing to go to the Uchiha IFF we sanity-check the plan with the clan in general. We'd have to talk to Mari about our concerns anyway (and no, I'm not willing to consider us dropping our counter-demands on the Uchiha without running it by someone trustworthy first), and if the others are available why not do that as well?
That's a really good idea. I'm actually going to replace the Jiraiya section with that, because it flows way better into the retainership discussion and is likely to be a decent amount of discussion.Ask them how their families are doing . Were they hit at all by the tragedy? Is there anything we can do to help?
I'm concerned as to what she wants with the vote thing (Vote to give Shimura's Clan status and lose just so that they become disgruntled with the system?).
Also, I think the dinner sections in both are insufficient; could anyone give me an idea of what we could talk about aside from "Jiraiya" and "be my agents, gang"?
Fuck that, we'll drag them kicking and screaming back from the afterlife to fix what they broke or so help me.Huh, I never really considered that. Maybe Hidan is actually the world's preeminent altruist, and the most good anyone can hope to accomplish really is to kill them all and let Jashin-sama sort them out.
Armageddon is looking better and better.
Yep.
