Doesn't have to be the inside. There's a film of liquid on the surface of the eyeball, I imagine flash freezing that would be unpleasant enough. Or throw some ground pepper in their eyes first, for extra tears.

That's what I was refering to, yes.

e: So... with a supernatural form of heat (or lack thereof, as the case may be)... would it ever reach equilibrium? I mean, if it's a constant heat spread out over the area, wouldn't it eventually overwhelm other temperatures in the area until everything was the same? Or am I talking bad physics here?

Actually, pepper or chillis would be a wonderful non-lethal payload for a macerator seal.

I'm wondering if we could use environmental mastery to manipulate stuff at our leisure, then seal it. That way the time-stop effects of the seal would preserve the temperature changes. It's not possible without a very high level of elemental mastery, but I'm imagining sealing very hot pieces of iron and nearly burning pieces of wood into PMYF. It would make random things light on fire as we use it ... which is probably not as helpful as it sounds.

Is that "inside of containers or inside of creatures" or "inside of containers or creatures at all"?
I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say.

The technique changes the ambient temperature of the air - it affects the insides of creatures, and the insides of containers, only as an indirect result of this effect. (and in case you're wondering, no one has tried it underwater or in other nonstandard environments)

Meaning a simple, well known, unencrypted communications protocol? Encrypted ones are everywhere.
I'm thinking that we could make our own encrypted communications with the help of seals. Some sort of long-distanced communication seals through vibrations—some sort of tiny-voltage electricity? So we keep them under the pants, or pockets, and create our own version of morse-code.

Just for paranoid contigency, we could scramble each vibration's meaning every week or month.

It's probably dangerous as fuck.

Funny, but you should probably delete one of the "don't train Noburi" votes, as they mean the exact same thing.

In other news, the GMs are losing track of questions. If you have one that hasn't been answered, please add it to the appropriate part of the Player Knowledge doc and ping us that it's there. We'll try to remember to check the doc regularly, but feel from to poke us if we don't.

Well, this is slightly embarrassing. I've totally been putting my questions in the wrong place. Since when did we even have a "Questions for QM go here" section? (For other special people like me, it's the last section in the document eaglejarl linked.)

@Velorien, @eaglejarl @Jackercracks @AugSphere, I had these questions about explosives and Tactical Movement in combat. There's no real rush with these since we are already getting more TacMov but it would be nice to know these before next round of ninja combat, or before we get to train Keiko again.

Twofold's Combat Questions

In the update Righteous Face Punching, Hazou rolls TacMove vs Weapons to get into close range against a weapons user. Is this how it will work in the future or was this just a one time off before you ironed out the combat mechanics? If it works like that does it work the same with other ranged skills (ie. ninjutsu)? How does this differ from the new rules regarding explosives where the defense against them in ranged is rolled Weapons vs TacMove?

In Let the Bodies Hit the Floor Bosatsu uses TacMove vs TacMove to stop Hazou. If Ken had used Weapons (with explosives OR with the same mechanic as in RFP) to challenge Hazou's TacMove instead of running away with his own TacMove, would Hazou have gotten hit? Put in other way, can a combatant use TacMove vs TacMove to block and herd enemies to make them easier pickings for ranged combatants and if so how does it work?

About the new explosives rules. If Keiko meets another Weapons user who uses explosives on his Weapons, how is a range duel between them solved roll wise? Assume standard open field where they notice each other at the same time. Do they just roll Weapons vs Weapons or do they need to also roll TacMove to dodge the explosions?

Something that might help for the doc would be an updated color coded system. We already have red for questions posed by players, but I propose that all questions directly answered by the QM's should then be colored green (or maybe some other colorblind friendly color).

Did we have another place for them? I feel like we did, but then Velorien asked me what it was and this was the only thing I could find.

*Still attend classes with Takahashi, learn how to better interact with people when she is at the base in her downtime.

Keiko has a ton of XP (126 at the moment) and she is one of our worst talkers. She has already been cornered once by Takahashi and if she continues her training under him she will experience more situations requiring social skills. As long as we are in a social setting, having our relevant skills on all of our party members less than level 10 seems inadvisable to me. Akane unfortunately should stay in the base for awhile until we can get her enough XP so that she remembers to use our fake names while we are undercover.
