A thought on Elemental Mastery: what if we put a cooled/heated substance via the jutsu in a storage seal and unsealed it in combat?

Replace the "Plan name:" part with "[X]" so that the bot knows to count your vote. Like this:

[X] Action Plan: Who did what now?
[] Action Plan: Help!

The main difference between these two seem to be that Help! reveals our names and tries to make axe-girl part of our entourage.

I'm not really against revealing our names, but it seems kinda hamfisted. It's like we would be rubbing in the fact that we haven't revealed our real names to them already. If we do it we should incorporate it with an apology and preferably tie it to some activity that works as a new step in our relationship. Something we can point at and say: "Well before we were really not sure, but since this thing happened we feel comfortable in revealing our names. No, it's totally not because you figured them out already."

The axe-girl seems fun though. The only question is if she is the kind of fun that will leave team members beheaded or not.

@Kruh, your vote seems to have been mangled. It's colored white, instead of [default color].

Normal fire would probably be easier. But I did have another idea for Elemental Mastery: Siege. Rapid heating and cooling is liable to break almost anything solid.
Also, I want Technique Hacking 10 for Hazou. If we trust 'Jiraiya' enough to have him get us a teacher, it should hold off until we have more TacMove.
@HyperCatnip: Not only is TacMove much cheaper than MEW and Kawarimi, it's the only stat we have for closing distance through fire. PMYF, if it's possible, would change that at cost to both ammunition and Chakra. But we don't have it yet.

So could this be used on an area filled with nothing but water or just solid stone? Also it feels like this skill was THacked into a less useful form. This would be the use of THack for sharing skills that are not optimal while still holding to the letter of a deal when sharing skills.

Insides of creatures and objects cannot be affected directly. The description implies that it can affect ambient water temperature, but that has not been verified by the QMs.

My only combat idea on the jutsu is dousing people in water and then cooling the area.

For utility uses, refridgeration could be helpful for merchant network cargo. Also for transporting casualties before brain death takes hold, if we have that kind of medical knowledge.

For heating the air, we can look into using mechanical means to heat the air first, then add on top of that with the jutsu. Whatever the state of the art is for heating things (absent some kind of magma release that I don't think we can get), we can get 50° to 100° more than that. What kind of use we can get from that, though, I'm not sure.

BTW, @Velorien @Jackercracks @eaglejarl , I don't think we ever got our promised answer on Hazou's level of awareness on Keiko's crush on Inoue.

The weird thing I've noticed isn't that Hazou hasn't brought it up with Keiko, it's that Hazou seems utterly ignorant of Keiko's feelings, even though she has told them directly. Inoue cozies up to Kagome when he first joins, Keiko is quietly furious, and Hazou has no idea why. There's one or two more instances of this that I can't find, but it's strange that both Hazou and Noburi have completely forgotten that important conversation. These leave me completely confused about whether Hazou knows or not. He should, but he acts like he doesn't. That's why some people suspect memory shenanigans.

I could accept that if it was clear that it is part of Hazou's character that he's romantically inexperienced enough or heteronormative enough or just dense enough where his mind simply never made the actual connection or didn't think about it. But I actually don't know whether he's aware of it or not. Once again, Keiko literally told him, straight to his face. And he still acts as if that conversation never happened. It's just baffling to me, and this very long period of getting no definitive answer on what's going on inside Hazou's own brain is getting me frustrated.

Fair doos. The issue has been raised and noted, we'll sort it out once the three of us are all online again.

We could combine EM with Noburi's water jutsu to devastating effect.

Imagine an enemy cutting down a water clone in melee, only to not get covered in lukewarm water, but scalded with boiling water, or soaked in freezing water sending them into cold shock.

The moment I saw that we were getting a new utility ability, I knew the QMs would regret it. When I saw Elemental Mastery, the only thing I could think was that it was the QMs issuing us a challenge.
