Did we have another place for them? I feel like we did, but then Velorien asked me what it was and this was the only thing I could find.

If my memory serves me right, when the document was first introduced we just added new questions to the top. I assume the "Questions for QM" came when we combined the first document with new ones? Something like that.

Keiko has a ton of XP (126 at the moment) at the moment and she is one of our worst talkers. She has already been cornered once by Takahashi and if she continues her training under him she will experience more situations requiring social skills. As long as we are in a social setting, having our relevant skills on all of our party members less than level 10 seems inadvisable to me.

Keiko is not exceptionally poor talker. She is at the same level in Diplomacy as Hazou and at same level in Deception as Noburi. I don't think there are big gains to be made in upping her social skills for now. Those might have been useful for the initial Takahashi meet but I'm somewhat suspicious if Hazou (or Noburi) would've done any better in Keiko's place.

But I get your point. If we want to do infiltration mission in the future, then the whole team is going to need to invest heavily on social things...Which is really expensive, but it could be also really fun.

For some kind of missions we could have an "In Team" that would do the infiltration part and leave our socially inept fellows outside as an "Out Team" that would provide indirect support, run our caravan empire and work as a cavalry when required.

Yeah, sounds right. I added the section header a few minutes before my 'hey, put them here' post so that there would be a clear spot for them.

[X] Training Keiko: Whatever Takahashi Says

I don't think social skills are that important for Keiko, at least not for now. She is obviously exhausted enough from the training at Takahashi, no need to add to her burden when she gets time off with us.

That's fair, but at the same time, I feel like she would WANT to get better at social stuff after her experiences with Takahashi.

[X] Action Plan: Who did what now?
[X] Training Hazou: Tactical Movement
[X] Training Noburi: Shell Games
[X] Training Noburi: Talking Our Way Out Of This Mess
[X] Training Akane: Elemental Flickering Flame
[X] Training Plan Akane: Keeping Secrects
[X] Training Keiko: Language is Important

This buildup of XP is ridiculous. You would think that she's getting a lot of skills in her training.

This is what I am concerned about; if she is getting training, wouldn't something show up on her character sheet? I know we haven't voted for any summoning skill leveling yet, but if this training does help her with the summoning in general later on, could we at least get a blurb saying she has something to show for the training?

[x] Training Keiko: Whatever Takahashi Says

I assume that we're not getting updates to her sheet exactly because the training is secret, and we don't get to know what, if anything, useful that she's learning.

I do think that the GMs have said that all the training will be figured out after the fact, since I think they haven't worked out the precise mechanics of the summoning.

Well, I do hope that we can get the results and decision on summoning soon. And that Takahashi doesn't waste it on shit skills like Elemental Mastery. We worked Hard for that XP, damn it!

Also, @eaglejarl , if we ever choose to do seal research, will we gain boni to our roll if Kagome helps us?

We would probably get a bonus to our roll to avoid blowing ourselves up and a malus to our roll to actually make progress.

Speaking of causing pain, does anyone know why 'color=transparent' exists? Seriously, who thought that up and what was the advantage they were trying to gain?

I have no idea, but when a QM says something like this it makes me go back and check the few previous updates for any invisible shenanigans. I though I was being overly paranoid but lo and behold, there actually was some invisible text in Ants.

Do I really need to setup that script for this? I don't want to ruin my authentic WtR experience of hunting for invisible god-talk. :(

Eh, A lot of us have scripts active to make it highlighted.

Yeah, I do too. I just find it obnoxious.

Nah. I think I've used it two or three times ever, and I have no intention of making it a regular part of updates. I don't remember what made me think of it, though. It just annoys me and I was wondering what the original use was supposed to be.

I presume in whatever way causes us the most pain.

Oh god, two out of three GMs rated that post insightful.

I like it as a method of commentary, but given how you used it in "Ants" I would prefer that it was just in the spoiler box with the rolls.
