Hazou: "That sounds terrible, I really wish you guys wouldn't call it that."

Cat: "Mew!"

(Everyone laughs, Hazou weeps into his hands.)
 
I don't see a need to complicate this beyond "Make a seal or two for this purpose (since we know it should be possible: Earth Domes), stockpile them en masse and hire mooks Genin to do all the legwork on the cheap."

I don't see why we wouldn't be able to tweak it to "Raise earth wall out of ground.", in light of that conversation. Its not useful for combat at all, but is good for fortifications prep.

Maybe we could tweak it a bit more to make an 'instant house' seal. Four walls, a floor, a roof, a door and maybe some windows, a fireplace and chimney, maybe some shelving and seating and a table and 'beds' that are basically platforms you're supposed to put some sort of padding on.

The walls, floor, and roof could have two walls with air gaps in between so they insulate somewhat.

With a bunch you could set up an instant village anywhere you needed one, or just always have a nice place to stay when you were in the wilderness.

That seems harder.

To be honest, I think "Wall of permanent earth"- seal is pretty good.

Maybe we can improve Earth Dome seals to make it so that they arent chakra constructs. This would at least give you some huts, I think.

Incidentally, you seem to be under the impression that you have not already earned such a compliment. You (and, not to dismiss eaglejarl -- him as well) -- have certainly caused suffering among us as never before. :p

e: I may not be around much in the next few votes. My dad just died. Who knows, though, I may need the escapism.

Around this time last year I spent a lot of time in this thread - My dad didn't evacuate out from under Hurricane Harvey's landfall. I know it doesn't mean much but you have my thoughts with you.
