Possible issue: Pangolins.

Possible solution #1: Jiraiya.
Possible solution #2: A social-specialized summon brainwashed/indoctrinated to support Keiko. Pangolins, Toads, Condors?
Possible solution #3: Kill/abandon them all.

E: Really though, I don't like this build. It leaves her so defenceless.

I think we should keep Intimidation at a priority but unfortunately we might need her to boost empathy and whatnot just a bit.

Things would be a lot easier on the seventh path if she could just social all our problems away(thats not happening) but at the very least we should not have her be totally inept at this

I would like to point out that one of the classic uses for stunts is "treat stat X as stat Y for defensive purposes".

No I mean most of them are very explicitly not weapons for the reasons you were elaborating on earlier.

Don't bother with making it Empathy. Make it count as Deceit for defensive purposes. So terrifying you can't tell whether she's lying. Still leaves Empathy to cover, but three social stats are much easier than four.

It's rather sad, but the state of academic literature is so bad that you can give a convincing illusion of technical sophistication for a fictional field (even to technical people!) just by rattling off a bunch of (Name, Jargon) pairs.

A: "Hold on now, how do you propose we get around the Himmelstein anomoly?"

B: "Uh, we're only working in a fundamental Najdorf tensor-space here. How could that possibly apply?"

A: "Normally it wouldn't, but by necessity when we activate the Bird-Norris generator, we will be creating a Marshal field, and you can't couple a Marshal field to the Blackwell mechanism without inducing a Church-Hensley regression."

B: "Ahh, nice catch! Frankfort bypass it is."

A and B nod solemnly.

...Which, incidentally, we must insist on happening before the Naruto rescue mission.

We bought up his old lab, so it's plausible we unknowingly triggered something that would give him all the info he needs to put together the pieces.
