Shame you had to pass up the punching, @eaglejarl, I hope that writing Jiraiya in action (if only somewhat) was enough of a consolation.

Looks like the nature chakra arms race is going to be starting soon, though without the exact process the other villages will have to go through trial and error to figure it out, which should mean that either they take a long time carefully experimenting and researching or they lose a lot of promising ninja to statue-itis. Either way, this is not a loss in the short term, so since Leaf is most vulnerable in the short term this doesn't hurt our ambitions too much.
 
It really does feel a bit strange to see a huge opsec failure in motion, and not be responsible. I am reminded of Team Gai causing an international incident recently, and it not being our fault either.

Is this what growing up feels like?

Whereas Leaf has access to the Aburame, Hyuuga, and Noburi who can: Target the source of the nature chakra, drain it, (possibly all of it), and then, if it's necessary to suck them completely dry of chakra, refill them on it.
 
So, we know Noburi can give other people chakra.

Can he do it by force, and can he do it with nature chakra water.

Poisoning wells with Natura Chakra, Jutsu that makes mist with Nature Chakra in it...

This needs to be weaponized.

Yeah, me too. I... kinda want Hazou to actually sit in on their meeting.

Imagine making friends with all the other kage and being pen pals.

(I mean obviously they'd be fishing for intel and Hazou would be at a major disadvantage in any relationships with them, but that's kind of to his advantage.)
