Hm, alright. I am afraid I don't see the implications of such a seal quite yet-mind enlightening me?

I'm struggling to think of one single biological process that wouldn't be wrecked to hell if you couldn't move phosphorus around. It's super important. Just off the top of my head:
  • DNA contains phosphorus, so no cell division.
  • RNA contains phosphorus, so no transcription.
  • Ribosomes are made of RNA, so no translation.
  • A lot of signaling is mainly done by phosphorylating proteins, so stuff involving cells and proteins needing to signal each other goes away.
  • ATP is useful because it has phosphorus in it, and as far as I'm aware, every metabolic pathway needs you to dephosphorylate ATP (or some equivalent such as UDP or GTP) at some point. So forget the ability to break down or construct biological molecules.
A few seconds with no phosphorus is a sort of perfect poison: it breaks everything in your biology at once.

I figured it was something like that. However, won't stopping water be even more effective?

It would be far more noticeable as well. ceasing the movement of phosphorus is relatively unnoticeable. Ceasing the movement of water is far less so depending on the affected area.
imagines a "stop water" seal resulting in someone's veins and arteries all being torn open as they step through

Indeed.

I mean, "stop phosphorus" would be a fairly obvious seal too, given that you'd have the temperature instantly drop several degrees and basically have people turn to...dust...

holy shit that's how that works doesn't it?!

What you did there
I see it
I don't :(

Could someone please explain what this Minori thing is? I'm completely out of the loop, and judging from the comment section I seem to be the only one.

[X] The rest of the world reacts to Clan Goketsu's formation

[X] The Fire Daimyo's cat learns about Lupchanzen.

The players happen to have encountered a statistically anomalous number of characters named Minori over the course of the quest (not all of whom are in fact named Minori). This has led to completely unreasonable and unjustified speculations about a Minori conspiracy.

For a while, you weren't the only one.

Also, I have to wonder. What the hell is the overall opinion on Clan Goketsu? On the one hand, we have Kagome and his paranoid rants about lupchanzen, but on the other hand somehow we end up way more charismatic in personal visits to other clans than anybody who shares a clan with Kagome should be.

So I just realized that the new rules that you have to pay extra chakra every hour will basically keep our pangolin military engineer from ever actually making any fortifications or structures. So know she is basically useless outside of a check on our work

I'm not sure where you got that impression? I mean, yeah, she'd have to do it pretty fast, but ninjutsu is fast in general.

In addition to the number of Minori's we've met, there were also a few events where some of us accidentally mistook Minami as Minori. So not only does this count as a reference to the so-called Minori Conspiracy, it could also be a reference to one of the many times we've been bad at remembering people's names.

On that note, I feel like I should mention that Chapter 161.1 even now refers to Mist's "Kozo" clan, so it's not just us :p.

It gets worse. I experimentally clicked on @faflec's location. For reasons unknown, it's persistently giving me a list of gyms in my local area. Not, you know, places called "location" or anything. Gyms.

Worse still, I tried clicking on a random point in Russia on Google Maps to try and reset it. I got a тренировочный зал. Or, in English, a gym.

There is some kind of conspiracy here.

Maybe he is a pokemon trainer and is challenging the Gyms. But you know, he is Faflec and wouldn't go for too little, so he is challeging ALL THE GYMS, while screaming.

Sometimes we do. Sometimes we imply that a loyal and valuable ninja is a traitor based on no evidence, and end up in a kill-box. Or we threaten random civilians in the street. Or we break into a rant at the library.

"Eccentric" in a word, is what I would bet public opinion of our clan is. Which, honestly, is perfect for us! I mean, both descriptively and for our purposes.

Another successful plan that we didn't know about until it happened.

We're sort of Leaf's version of the Addams family.

MORTICIA: (unpacking FESTER's bags: ) Dynamite?

FESTER: I can explain!

MORTICIA: Oh, Fester. As if we would run out.
