I'm pretty sure competent shinobi (read: Jonins) can sense their chakras are being drained. Whether or not they can respond in time or not is dependent on their speed and/or jutsu, but I'm fairly certain Zabuza would recognize the jutsu and back off from the mist. Probably go underground, or use an anti-Mist jutsu.
Of course, we may well be able to train Noburi to the point where he can drain through latent humidity...

If we were able to do 100 precision strikes, no doubt we could destroy the 50-100 most important buildings in the village. But we can't do precision strikes, we can't feasibly exhaust our chakra supply (how much, exactly, do you want us to die?), and even if we do destroy basically all the buildings somehow, that's not going to stop us being murdered by the now-very-pissed-off jōnin that now all want our heads. Because pretty much all of them survived since the attack is multi-stage.
Furthermore, all it takes is one lightning jōnin who knows the 'call lightning' technique which since it comes from the sky doesn't care about your vertical distance away from them, and you get blasted to hell the moment they spot the boulder appear in the sky.

Jōnin have max stats of what? 60? Multiply that by 5 and you have 300.

Yes, that still means the opponent has a chance, but it's not a real chance, not when those five jōnin are getting stronger as you get weaker and have whatever skills they need to close in safely for all of two seconds.

FWIW, when I was calculating densities back around the whole three-million-cubic-metres-in-a-notebook time, I was making a huge oversight. When I said physics gets angry, I was still not really understanding what that means.

When you're talking about matter 10x the density of a white-goddamned-dwarf, the idea of containment is frankly hilarious. I was talking about how the container would be destroyed.

Boy was I missing the point.

It doesn't matter if the container is destroyed. It could be literally invulnerable, and so could the seals. It wouldn't matter at all because the matter it's "containing" no longer gives a damn about the mere differences between a vacuum, granite, or lead shielding. The idea that there exists a thing which might happen to be "in the way" in some token sense just becomes absurd. The white-dwarf-condensate is "the way". Everything else is rounding error.

This has been addressed before, I seem to recall? The seal can either be drawn on something more durable than paper, or be placed inside of a container which prevents the initial collapsing vacuum from hitting it.
Ah, of course, just stick it between two smooth rocks.
I'm a proponent of 5SBing a thick coat of paint. For testing, it should suffice.
I suppose that'll work for "low" pressures, yeah. Mostly I've got my head stuck in the 1000-seal mindset.

I retract my objections.

@OliWhail Will Noburi be studying chakra tubes in chakra beasts or just a get a more in-depth feel for chakra systems in non-humans without touching cellular structure/function?

He proooobably doesn't have the ability to perceive those - no microscopes. Cannot confirm or deny whether his mednin skill is high enough to perceive them using a medical chakra diagnostic scan.

Yeah fuck it.

VD turtle-drain is one of the only viable ways we can beat Zabuza now. Drain him, give chakra to Mari, let Mari send out clones/genjutsu. Mari can stall Zabuza with boosted chakra and our (hopefully relevant) assistance while Noburi wears him down.

Are Kagome's shaped charges multi-use? Theoretically, could we use both macerators and shaped-charges in our fighting style, as such?

Should we try to sell shaped charges or macerators to pangolins soon or wait till we can level Kei's deal making?

Kagome swapped himself with a target that had, more by luck than Hazou's intent, ended up near the creature's tail. He raised his hands and triggered all eight of his palm seals in a staccato crash that carved straight through the join between tail and body.

o-o-o-o
Despite the 'no stopping' rule, when they hit land they paused for just long enough for Kagome to reload his palm boxes, Keiko to restock her kunai holsters with tag-equipped kunai, and Noburi to disinfect and clean the oozing wound that reached from Hazou's left hip to right shoulder, where the creature's rough hide had sanded his skin off as he tumbled down its side.

@faflec re: Noburi's training plan it might be advisable to lower the VD to 25/27 or something so he has room to train up medical skills (for experimentation purposes) as well. Also, we may want to wait for @eaglejarl, @Velorien, and @OliWhail's word on the balance of VD.

Do we have intel on what additional medical levels does for Noburi? @eaglejarl @Velorien @OliWhail?

Also, yes, I know we should wait; but I'm fairly certain VD was as dangerous before the Great Rebalancing; they doubled the rate of chakra drain but made everyone else even stronger, so I'm pretty sure it won't be changed.

It's also worth noting that very few Wakahisa actually develop their VD to the levels that Noburi has right now, much less even higher.

Given chakra redistribution is the whole point of their bloodline, that seems suspicious. Especially since people are generally pretty good at warfare, at least in the optimize-the-basics rather than the creative sense, for whatever reason.

Re: VD

Noburi can get Vampiric Dew 30, right now. This means he has a drain rate of 30CP/s, at a range of 150 meters.

To understand how strong this is, a low Jonin with 500CP is considered "impressive". Noburi could fully drain said Jonin in 17 seconds. In one minute, he could drain nearly 2000CP from a target.
Am I misremembering that draining is only at a range of level*meters, and it's the *sensing* that's 5*level*meters?

VD levels only affects drain rate, drain range, and sensing. Chakra capacity is what gives a Wakahisa his chakra levels, and Wakahisa are often used as chakra batteries...so support types. Which does not require VD levels, at all.

Might be wrong, my mistake if it is. I'll check.

Edit: Yeah, you're right.
