The other things Ami asked us to do during the A-day planning chapters. Make preparations to distract Akatsuki, convince Naruto and maybe Tsunade to help us, etc. I don't remember the whole list.

The real reason where not moving forward on any these is the lack of consensus on how we want to handle necromancy. Add in the fact that their isn't a strong timeline and theirs a lack of clear actionable steps to take currently makes for a low engagement topic.

We're also historically really bad at trying to do long term planning. We're much more concerned with handling the immediate situation than trying to make moves for the future

My solution is as follows. The puzzle is actually beautiful in it's simplicity - the only thing that matters is the number of characters and spaces between elipses. The rest is visual noise to throw you off, with some hints sprinkled throughout.
I don't understand.

Can you provide the exact ciphered text, the exact decrypted text, and your step-by-step methods?

If I understood correctly:

I think he means that there is no code to break; you want to count in the message the number of characters per chunk (seperated by space), and match each chunk with a passage from the chapter. If you divide the coded message per chunk you get something like this:

..@@#$J:LJuw00EW872JHMNQ2
=@#%Y323NDRqlkjgfljl
..2)&wljhlr
.
J!LāNMΨlJML...
(etc...)

Twin then matched each chunk per scene (with a time ellipse). 1st chunk: "..@@#$J:LJuw00EW872JHMNQ2" is 27characters (space included); "tHe brrainnmeea ts shr!eked", the first sentence of the chapter, is also 27characters, so it's a possible match. 2nd chunk: "=@#%Y323NDRqlkjgfljl" is 20 character long, and we should match that with a 20character passage from the next scene (after a time ellipse).

I think that's the idea?

It's possibly worse than nothing, but it's something.

[X] Conclave: The Power of Friendship
Have the respective summoners at the conclave ask their Clan's and allied clan's ambassadors to extract a promise from the Pangolins to not attack any Bosses that come to help with the Crusade.
If successful, pass the message to Ruri/Conjura that it's likely as safe as it's going to get for her to join the Conclave.

@eaglejarl @Velorien @Paperclipped IIRC it's been stated multiple times that one of our goals at the Concave is to obtain permission for Conjura to visit the Conclave. I don't understand why.

We need Conjura to fight the Dragons, not to convince the other Clans that there is an imminent threat. So obtaining an agreement that any Clan Boss who wants to join the Crusade, even if they or their representive isn't present to sign the nitial document, seems like a sufficient win condition to me. Is there any reason Hazou thinks this is insufficient? Or why we need Conjura in particular to be present at the Conclave?

Getting Conjura to the Conclave requires her to place her neck in Pantsaa's proverbial claws, so it seems something of a hard sell. Not least since the Pangs won't be thrilled either.
