I love how much our Resolve just keeps coming in clutch. Sure, it's our XP-growth skill. Sure, it's higher than our main combat stats, in a build distribution that would make any common-sense shinobi weep. But dang if it doesn't come in handy. Another team in our position might've taken more damage from the sonic shrieks than the attacks themselves, lost control and fallen to their doom.
It's honestly just great to have shonen hero willpower. Even if it wasn't the XP growth skill, it's proving its worth.

Did Akane hug her golem which caused it to be very much safe and non-aggressive, and/or flee to safety (Akane, not the golem)? What poison was almost certainly in the bats' saliva? Who is the cookie man?

I found myself smiling a lot with the dialogue in this chapter . I really did not expect this kind of wholesome banter with Hazou & Kei. Usually this pair makes me laugh and feel amusement. This had that too, but mostly it just made me happy
