My point was that Yuno seems to believe that they are mythological demi-gods from ancient time.

Considering that the Tama part is very simliar and she is at least aware of the "Forbidden Five" made me think.

And Saying S-rank = Asura isn't really helpful. It's possible, but why would she give them strange names?

While I doubt it matters, the math in both is incorrect (unless there are mechanics I'm not aware of. The first should be 27, and the second should be 24.
 
Hmm... well congrats on writing something that feels appropriate as an april fools type thing that also has me still feeling really paranoid/interested as to whether or not things happened. I think maybe some of the reactions of our close companions might help us determine if anything happened OoC at least... Maybe we try to stay away from mentally scarring things for a week, in deference to the 'Scoured Brain' that we may or may not have for that time period, despite appearances? The name of the consequence, plus that there was concern due to whatever happened to a Genin (i.e, someone with lower resolve) and a concern for side effects, has me a bit concerned.

On the topic of what we are planning to do though... What are we voting for at the moment? The negotiations with Orochimaru, which happened before this update, or something else?

Alright, got a sketch done. Still not sure which side of the Otters the Condors are supposed to be, but with other statements about the Capybara and so it'd be very awkward if the Condors touched the Pangolins and Toads and were south of the Otters.
Still a good deal of guesswork on the details, but this is roughly how things fit together.

Also, the Pangolins border a heckton of other clans.

  • Counteroffer:
    • Orochimaru will have exclusive access to the dragon parts for 2 weeks.
      • Acceptable to negotiate up to 4.
    • Orochimaru may take possession of only one Dragon part at a time.
    • If any parts are permanently damaged beyond what Noburi deems necessary for examination, Orochimaru will provide five more sealing and medical research notes of equal value to those initially offered and the deal is terminated.
    • If any parts are destroyed or are otherwise unable to be returned, Orochimaru will provide ten more sealing and medical research notes of equal value to those initially offered and the deal is terminated.
    • The Goketsu will swap out parts upon request with a 24 hour grace period.
    • The Goketsu will accept the entirety of Orochimaru's offer with the addition of a jutsu that reduces the need for sleep and a jutsu that reduces the need for skill upkeep.
      • Acceptable to only receive one jutsu.
      • If neither jutsu are available, have Mari vet an acceptably high quality stunt-style jutsu.

"I think..." that Lord Orochimaru has been very generous and agree to the two week rental of these items for all that he's presented here, I look forward to hearing about what information Lord Orochimaru discovers since there are more dragons. If there is a reason to extend the rental I will be happy to discuss that at a later point in time. Also, we keep the items on a stone slab inside the wooden box because they don't seem to eat through stone but we're not sure, it may just eat through stone more slowly.

This is the gist to get across, it need not be an exact quote.

(Conversations in the last plan are likely to occur in this chapter since they already happened, we just don't know the substance, so it's a lighter plan, accordingly.)

Yes, you can still have that encounter. Afterwards we'll jump forward to after Velorien's update ended.

  • Negotiations with Uncle Oro
    • With Oro showing that he is reasonable Hazou would be willing to sell some of priceless treasures he has obtained.
    • Of course the rental agreement will stay in place in regards to any of the items that Oro decides he is not interested in obtaining
      • The price he offered was more than fair for the rental
    • Some of the things Hazou would like to obtain
      • A jutsu of each element that a randomly selected jounin would find useful
      • Advice and possibly help setting up a 7th path chakra farm that Noburi can drain from safely
      • Being allowed to ask questions that do not infringe on any of Oro's direct plan.
      • Notes on how to seal the Bijou
      • Help on dealing with the great seal
      • chakra metal

Any plans involving Oro should be handled via Mari (or sanity checked with her) and then passed along to Kabuto, so he can try to facilitate Orochimaru's cooperation.

Why? I called Oro doing exactly what he did and that he would be willing to sell. Is it just the taboo of Oro convincing you that not wasting more of his time on the future is a bad idea?

I think that having such an expansive list will do us a disservice with him.

  2. Start making more use of Ami as a precondition of giving her FOOM. That way we lock in value and also increase the pressure to make sure we don't back out. Would make any deals we try to make with the Kurosawa super simple since we would be able to collect any favors Ami has in the village

        • We believe that greater understanding of such a complex ritual may prove invaluable to solving the problem on the 7th Path.

  • Accept the current deal that Oro has offered
    • Later renegotiate via Mari (also sanity check with her), with Kabuto.
    • A jutsu/way to lessen/eliminate sleep
    • More sealing notes, especially anything bio-sealing/medical related
    • In return, Oro can keep the Dragon parts longer/possibly permanently depending on how negotiation goes
  • Begin sealing as mentioned in the rules, with Shadow Clones, staggered by 2 days as to not interrupt SSA recovery time
    • ARS first
    • Study the Lightning Seal recovered from the Cloud/Akane and Yuno's encounter second
    • Banshee Fuckers third
    • Goo Bombs fourth
    • When not doing sealing research, study the sealing notes (this goes for all clones)
    • If possible, this can be off-screen unless this research sounds good
  • Ask Mari about ways to get Kagome SC permission from Asuma
