Don't you think people have thought of this? Of course they have, and most of them got turned into goo, or eaten by tentacular horrors from beyond space and time, or both! People have wanted a one-seal variant on the Five Seal Barrier since forever! If it was as simple as decohering the resonance on two dimensions, don't you think someone would have thought of it? It's obviously wrong! Obviously!"

This is for a 5SB with no supporting seals; I'm proposing a 5SB with one supporting seal.

I have no idea why we are pushing this when at best it equivalent to sky walkers.

And removing things that take a lot of time (like your out of Konoha missions) or if unwilling to remove make them more efficient (maybe hiring KEI to clear Aito land instead of yourself, and using the spy network to contact Jiraiya spies instead of doing it yourself)

While I like this the most out of all the plans, I still think its jumping the gun a bit on the latter sections.

We can do a lot more work in thread to figure out (and get a good consensus of) some solid stuff to do (and in what priority) before jumping on stuff like the iron mine. I'd do it, but I'm pretty busy with the holidays and whatnot (as I imagine a lot of others are as well).

So I'm inclined to keep my vote for the Lore Update, with that in mind.

At its best it's a Skywalker-equivalent that lasts for a month of continuous usage. Compare that to our current Skywalkers which last less than an hour.

Cutting it down to 2 SB will probably dramatically shorten its lifespan. I am guessing here, though.

I feel like the spy network itself should be one of our major submissions, rather than sealing notes. We are in a position to decide and take advantage of sealing in a manner which is not suspicious and is valuable to us, today.

A spy network, on the other hand, likely decays over time (so it's more valuable now than it will be later) but is very suspicious looking if we try to use/activate it. Overall, Team Uplift is simply not built for subterfuge and sneaking around; our strength lies in being fairly public about our actions, because we started shrouded in secrecy.

Overall, I think our play has to start with Jiraiya's spy network as our first/main contribution, and add extras on as we think of them.

Sure. It just boggles me that you think the practical implementation (ie craftsmanship) is secondary when you're trying to do experiments aimed at discovering what makes something fly.

How to say this? Currently, we don't care too much about if something is of high quality or well engineered.

We care about testing and learning and not killing the test pilots. It's like writing throwaway code to do a proof of concept.

Put it this way: Someone could designed a flapping wing design and it wouldn't work(Someone at NASA actually did that, but it's another story). It might be built out of the highest quality material, or whatever, but it ain't ever going to fly.

We don't need 50 different craftsmen of the highest caliber. We need a couple of guys who can implement a design for a prototype.

I'll add a suggestion on investigating the Capybara Scroll, and some comments on Nagi Island. I'm not entirely sure your goal of going there is, so I've had to make guesses which may not be what you want.

As much as I would love some of these research proposals to make it into a plan, maybe some of them should be cut if they would hog their own scenes? It's New Years and we wouldn't want to overburden our poor QMs.

Regarding 2SB, the idea is to make the support seals and the central seal activatable via chakra adhesion, thus making it functionally identical to Skywalkers modulo the 1 month duration.

Anyway, other changes made. @Oneiros I've made some clarifications to the Nagi Island section to clarify that it's to see if we can find clues regarding the bijuu's reformation location, as well as Kagome's insights into how the sealing array worked; let me know if this is OK with you.
