I believe you or one of the other QM's said something about
the iron nerve only allowing very small adjustments to recorded motions and completely failing when there's to much deviation from the original set of motions.

Does that mean Hazo can do larger adjustments over a longer time by incrementally recording lots of small changes?
No. The Iron Nerve cannot record its own replays.

I don't think we can record Iron Nerve movements with the Iron Nerve.
Correct.

-Kagome Yuu got a revamp as well. Again, a rough draft more than a finish, but info about our heroes is far more diffused, and as such- harder to find.
Kagome: You stinker! How did you find my first name?! I mean, that name! Because it's totally not my first name! My first name is...um...Fred...I mean Kaori...I mean, none of your business! Definitely not Yū!

Then what if you kept practicing to speed through a set of jutsu handsigns correctly, got the fastest you could do them in one try, and just always used your fastest timed handsigns whenever you use that specific jutsu?

For example, Hazo takes some time to practice going through the MEW jutsu handsigns as fast as possible while still correct. He ends up breaking a record for himself and does it a couple seconds faster on one of his tries than he did on most of the other tries. He now uses that specific set of movements with IN everytime he uses MEW and it lets him throw out the jutsu faster.

Is that possible?
Sure. You can get faster if you want. It won't change whether it takes a Supplemental or Standard action to cast the jutsu, but if you want to spend time practicing in order to have the fluff of "fastest handseals in the West" then that's a thing you can do.

I'll take it.

West what? Are you saying there's a civilization on the other side of the planet?

I would wager finding out his first name wasn't hard at all considering his atrocious Deceit score. It probably went down something like this:

HAZOU: Noburi, you said this was the right spot?

KAGOME: No, I didn't.

HAZOU: I'm sorry?

KAGOME: I didn't say that.

HAZOU: I know you didn't say that.

KAGOME: And don't you forget it!

HAZOU: Alright, alright. So, Noburi. You going to go inside first?

KAGOME: NO, I WON'T. ARE YOU CRAZY? WHO KNOWS WHAT'S IN THERE. Send Noburi in first.

HAZOU: ...

NOBURI: You know what, this is getting silly.

KAGOME: I KNOW NOTHING AND YUU IS NOT SILLY. Yuu is always serious.

NOBURI: But 'you is' bad at grammar, isn't he?

KAGOME: No, I is not! I mean, shut up! Yuu will leave now so you should go as well.

I think Kagome's already leaked it to one or more of the Genin IC and we've just not commented on it because it'd be rude to spread a secret he wasn't comfortable sharing.

At least, that's what I remember hearing the last time this topic came around.

Well, yeah.

But when has the truth stopped me from doing what I want? :V

Ooooh. New information. Keiko has a sibling. Might be a lot less open to leaving Mist than our excommunicated Momma, so lets hope we avoid her.

I just realised: this means Hazou has spent over a year successfully maintaining OPSEC on something.
Unlike Keiko, may I point out:
"But forget that. Was everyone impressed with my amazing analysis last time? Are they all in awe of Pandā the Summoner Liaison? I just finished painting my new insignia over my burrow, by the way. Hey, I don't still have red paint on my back, do I?"

"You were wrong in every particular," Kei said emphatically. "None of us are related by ties of blood or romance."

"Huh," Pandā said. "Are you sure? Because –"

"Yes, I'm sure," Kei snapped. "Kurosawa Hazō and Wakahisa Noburi – the two boys – and I were ninja from the village of Hidden Mist, and we only know each other because we were on a mission together. After it ended in betrayal and disaster, Inoue Mari, the woman you called our matriarch, saved our lives and guided our escape, despite merely being a fellow Mist-nin who did not owe us anything. Later, it became necessary to permit Ishihara Akane, the older girl, to join us. Finally, we persuaded Kagome Yū, the adult man, to join us for the purpose of safety in numbers and in order to have access to his skills."
Tsk, leaking a teammate's personal information to a genocidal alien empire, for no reason in particular.

We should compile a list of her past mistakes and that her (present) deficiencies so we can give it to her the next time she is feeling down on herself. At some point the Mori Voice AI is bound to run into an integer overflow and flip from super sad to super happy.

And then, we ask her to date us because she reminds us of Akane so she will instantly drop back to baseline.

In today's episode of Weird Things The Thread Said:
Ami is Mists version of Gai confirmed.
Please focus your imagination for a moment, and imagine:
Ami and Gai, running through Leaf, using their hands instead of feet, and using their legs to carry their respective students- Hazou and Lee.
Both of the mentors are sparkling with youthful energy, their youthsuits shifting with youthful movement underneath.
Lee is saying something, and Hazou just wonders... are time-travelling seals really such a bad idea?

I think we know the real reason she wants to marry Hazou now.
She saw a fragment of greatness, of YOUTH, within him.

And frankly, she'd look great in a youthsuit.
