It's fun seeing Hazou social, I'm realizing. When we're confident enough in Hazou's OPSEC to do things like arrange lunch with a foreign ninja the resulting scene is actually pretty fun. I hope we can do this more in the future.

Anyways, given what Jiraiya just told us about interacting with Ami, how does that limit our conversational plans? I've seen a lot of ideas thrown around last cycle so I think our main priority for Ami planning now should be figuring out which plans to copy and modify from.

(Also, how far from now is the 25th? I'm not sure how many matches we'll be watching and/or fighting before we get to meet her)

Fascinating. She is already targeting us, the inter-universal hivemind inside Hazou's head itself. It's a bit faster than I thought, but not entirely outside expected parameters. It will be fun.

Hey, wasn't Ikeda supposed to be (implied clan) a rich ninja with connections through her father?
 
I hope the people reading this on reader mode don't get the wrong idea about Ikeda. It'd be awkward if they thought we were actually trying to romance her to replace Akane and then we just sort of forget about her entirely a few days later.
 
We might want to send Auntie Ren a message letting her know we'll stop making her life an order of magnitude more difficult every day if she works with us here a bit (and lets us use our goddamn seals).

I'll do something about the two fights that happen today -- Ino vs Kiba and Shikamaru vs whoever. That could end up being collapsed into a bullet point, depending. If you vote in banter+battle then I'll write your fight. If you choose to leave it until later and spend the whole update...*talking* (sigh) then I'll do that and @Velorien will need to write your fight. Which I'm sure will make him super happy since we all know how much he likes writing punching.

I think @MadScientist implies that Ami overheard Hazou suggesting the meeting to Jiraiya and sent Hazou that message all on her own, without prompting from Hazou or Jiraiya. Which is obviously false: she merely can read our plans as they're submitted, an ability allowed by her high-level control of the Frozen Skein.

Calling it: she'll start the meeting by greeting Marked for Death players, explaining that it's an in-joke to Hazou.

Did the chain of causality go:

"Hazou asks J if he can talk to Ami, J contacts Ami, Ami sends the note as a reply"

or

"Hazou asks J if he can talk to Ami, nothing happens yet to J/Hazou's knowledge, Ami's reply shows up mysteriously, thus implicitly stating that she hears and knows all"?

Because on my initial reading, I took it as the latter.

Aah. I neglected to confirm that you had, in fact, sent messages to schedule the meetings you wanted to schedule. Is it unclear enough to warrant writing in?

AMI stands for Artifical Moderator Intelligence and she has admin levels of forum access. Why do you think this 5k+ page thread only has a handful of moderator posts?
