Just to be clear, I think what you're suggesting is impossible. If I'm following you correctly, you want to:
1) Have Hinata identify the precise location of Shin's feet in a large crowd
2) Have her explain it to Hazō in a way he can grok
3) Have Hazō travel underground a hundred-ish meters to that location, without any way of seeing the surface or precisely mapping distance or direction
4) Assume Shin doesn't move at all during this time
5) Find the location so precisely that you can stick your hand up between his feet

I just woke up or would have commented earlier. I'm afraid it's after 12pm London time, and @Velorien typically does not count votes from after the cutoff so this stuff may not matter.

It was more of a suggestion or clarification but its unclear to me why it may be actually necessary...
Also, just gonna have to say that Hazou's strategy here is supposed to be get in, get a good line of sight to see the crowd, use tipserator, get out. This whole "abort" thing goes against the Life is Strange type consequences. Hoping Velorien just ignores this.

I think that leaving it up to Hazou would get around LIS consequences, wouldn't it? I don't know. If not, I hope he ingores it too, but I'm not going to edit it any further because it's past 12 PM london time (and I completely forgot that everyone in the world doesn't live in my timezone

Of course I would be pissed and worried.
I told him in Discord yesterday that grey is better for stealth than black. Though I also stated for the situation an earth colored cloth might be best, but he might not have remembered that.
Black cloth is actually not great for stealth because pure black objects are fairly rare in nature, and even in low light can stand out to the eyes. Or, at least so I've heard. EDIT - this is also probably a basic thing they'd teach young ninja.

This debacle almost makes me wish we could vote for plan authors rather than plans themselves. Then @Velorien could direct his question to @Cariyaga, who is the winning plan author, and the latter could give a binding answer with the power invested in him by the voters.

That's the best you can do without literally knowing the color of the terrain under (is it brown, or rusty red soil? Is there foliage? What color? Is it gravel?).
Wearing black is a death sentence unless you're in the dead of night (nothing in nature is really colored black) or hiding outside a volcano or something. Even then it's better to wear the color of the surroundings if it's dark out.

The addition of alcohol should be a negligible change in the standard density of the Misterator mist.
Sake is like 80% water anyway, even without diluting it (which we instructed Nobbs to do in the previous plan to this chapter)
