[X] Flashback to Hazou's birthday

Oh yeah, that reminds me.

That's a...thing.

Any idea why that was mentioned? I mean, it's obviously some sort of plot hook, but unless there's some sort of deal between the Nara and Hagoromo, I don't know why she'd mention it. Maybe Keiko knows Hazou might pursue something with Ino, and thus needs to step up his fashion game?

Either the Hagoromo's industry got fucked in the Collapse/Sealing Failure Incidents and this is revenge by showing everyone their lack of industry, or Keiko is planning to fuck their industry and force them to default on the requests they've been given.

the Nara and Hagoromo
I'm sure that Keiko wishes to set this man and all of his life's work on fire.[1]

So, I dunno, maybe they put fleas in the textile plant or something?

[1] Which is to say, I reread the council vote chapter and flipped a coin as to what my interpretation should be. It came up Tails, for "Tons of fire."

Keiko is obviously wanting them to over leverage themselves so when she sabotages there business it will lead to a complete destruction of the clan

I just remembered that Hagoromo is the name of Lord Fuckface McGee. I'm down to put in a stupidly large order of fashionable clothes.

I'm sorry EJ...
Looks like the punching has to wait lol
Interlude votes are always non-binding, so keep going with the main plans in case EJ decides not to do an interlude this week. I personally favour your plan but since the [x] isn't at the beginning of your plan I felt like that signaled you weren't ready for people to vote for it yet.

On to the main reason I posted: I just realized that I'm actually pretty comfortable in my new apartment. I don't think I consider it "home" quite yet, but I'm far more relaxed than I thought I would be, so soon after moving. That is due, in no small part, to you guys being so awesome and supporting. Thank you! ^.^
Huzzah! I'm glad you're feeling well and that we could be some part of it. Go on with your big bad self and rock that new dwelling.[1]

[1] Oh my god, I sound old and outdated even to myself.

I wanted to make my own plan and it ended up being this thing. I don't even know why I did the subtext stuff, it was interesting and I lost myself into it. Oh well...

[X] Action Plan: Psychic Chakra Rockworms
Word Count: Screaming in Kagome
  • Candoru: Give him combat.
    • Sparring: Make Shadow Clones for him to fight without holding back. For added difficulty, use multiple (or Akane's) SCs or seals.
    • Hunting: Let him fight chakra monsters in the FoD, luring monsters over or making distractions as needed.
  • Chocolate monopoly: Discuss with Mari at home.
    • It sounds like ninja arrived to help with the chocolate harvest. We're so glad till-n-fills are gaining steam elsewhere (Subtext: Ninjas are around, probably protecting the harvest).
    • We really like having all this chocolate, and would be happy to continue this (Subtext: We want the monopoly to last).
      • Ninjas are powerful, but they're not gods. Flooding seems common on Tano, we hope it does not happen here (Subtext: Can we destroy the harvest? What will happen to the workers?).
      • I imagine many merchants will be eager to take the chocolate harvest, and hope they stay safe (Subtext: Can we take the harvest from the merchants buying/transporting the harvest?).
      • Of course, this new harvest may be all the better from the flooding (Subtext: Can we just buy the harvest outright?).
    • What are your thoughts, Mari?
  • Clear the Iron Mine.
    • Bring Keiko and Noburi, do all the necessary prepwork so we're well-supplied and have Asuma's approval.
    • Utilize all our skills (Summons, seals, jutsus and skills) to the max, let us see how quickly we can clear the land and make it safe for civilians.
      • Let Candoru do his own thing, he's supposed to be the aggressive lone wolf. Maybe we could make a competition and let Candoru see how much more we get when we work together, even when considering our greater numbers compared to him individually.
      • VD works wonders against underwater creatures, bwahahaha.
    • Get a look in the iron mine as well, see if there is anything worth doing for excavation. Take advantage of jutsu like Living Roots to see if there's anything deeper underground that we could use.

[X] Action Plan: Psychic Chakra Rockworms

If possible, I would like the take on Candoru in the mines to be less 'do his own thing' and more 'aggro chakra beasts in his direction until you find his limits, and then repeat'. Our purpose is to make him lose, after all, and I think that approach expedites that nicely.

Please unvote for the plan, I don't know if I will be making edits to it. I'll let you know if I decide I'll be doing edits on the plan tomorrow.

@Shrooms I will vote for your plan if you remove the relationship thing.

Edit all you want, but as long as you keep the part about Keiko and the mine, you'll have my vote.

[ ] Plan Pawcamp

Dogbrat isn't responding to extrinsic motivation, so let's try cultivating intrinsic motivation.

Figure out what he likes. Has he ever tried venison, pork, chicken, a night in the Inuzaka kennels with a bottle of wine?

Try to get permission to briefly and for a quantified time summon dogs he likes, admires, or respects, especially peers. Failing that, other summons or shinobi assistance can be substituted. Take them out on an eradication mission (mine?)

Dogbrat is in charge. His missions are to clear areas with the minimum assets necessary, but he takes point if anybody other than volunteer summons are involved. Success gets everybody involved something they like, failure gets him the obvious. Get him some command experience with real social consequences.

Celebrate successes as a team with him as the star. Give him some time to ponder failures before reattempting.

Aww... okay

We can always go talk to Keiko some other time

...but if they ask first, well, that's out of my control ;)
[X] Action Plan: Punch time

So a minor criticism for your plan which may or may not have already been said but I'm too tired to remember so here you go:
  • The chocolate section seems too passive to me; FMPOV you're basically asking the QMs to write out what actions will be take on it given that you're asking Mari for her plan, and only giving the broad outline of possible plans for her approval. It's not a big deal story-wise as Mari is smart and blahblahblah but this may drain QM spoons and lead to a lower XP gain.

What would you prefer? IV asked for a section saying we implement what Mari recommends. Maybe give more suggestions of our own first, and let the QMs decide what Mari would prefer from there?
