ppl seriously voting for gliders before even first checking if you can seal/unseal an object fast enough for supersonic flight

bad people bad, this is the long way round

Macerators can be used to fly arbitrarily fast, as long as you can toggle them fast enough, since they provide force in a specific direction. Testing the assumptions should take 60 seconds in-game time, and a proof of concept should also be quick, like a day's work with the help of a skilled civilian crafter. Reliable final products might require (simple) metalwork, but if the prior works the result would easily be worth the investment.

Since 60 seconds ≪ any relevant time cost of inventing gliders, gliders are the long way around.

Come on, people, it's Christmas. Have mercy and restrain yourselves from forcing our QMs back into their aspirin addiction today.

But Haru is boringgggg 😓

I don't want to add a dull character to the clan. Aya is so much more interesting, and I'm afraid we'll lose our chance to adopt her if we let her go now.
Non-exciting/Non-crazy (Mechanically: Low TYS) characters are needed narratively to contrast with the crazy characters. Currently Mari, Keiko and Kagome are firmly in the Crazy category, while Hazo is PC. Akane and Noburi, while relatively sane/baseline probably has some crazy waiting to break out or be broken into them.

[X] Let Velorien write whatever fluffiness he wants. We trust him.

Surely, even Velorien wouldn't use this kind of mandate to torment the playerbase.

[X] Action Plan: Time off with our family

Not the plan I wanted, but it's the plan that everyone voting for that have something I want.

Not-fully-awake me had this really strange idea about adopting Aya by offering her tangible power over our clan and over people in general: she seems the sort of person who wants to make changes in how the world works but is too afraid of getting burned (again) and so would rather stay alive and accomplish little than try when she'd expect to fail. Us actually putting her in a position where she could actually harm us...I dunno.

Why do I suddenly think, "Oh, no. Not-fully-awake-faflec is going to remember information from the future"?
