@OliWhail, my logic regarding Inoue's chakra total, which hasn't been determined yet, is that in VHitM she used 12 clones for 240cp, claiming not to be using more than half of her total since the team was in dangerous territory. I just halved and rounded down. It's not particularly fool proof.

[X] Action Plan: Zoom Boom Zoom
Just FYI, go take a look at @HoratioVonBecker's post above where he quotes EJ saying that the number of clones was an error

Can we guess where the two teams are likely to meet? If we can have Pandaa wait there with the explosives, we might be able to make the leaf patrol see foreign ninja coming right as an explosion goes off and assume they are under attack.

Add some traps/other distractions, please. See my strat.

PMYF three times in a row in semirandom directions to try and break the trail thoroughly, then either attempt to hide or chakra-boosted run
Please get rid of this, given the math half of us would drop unconscious.

Attempt to wipe them out quickly so they can't join up with HS patrol against us (see point 1 of The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions)
This is now Dispel. You want Point 2 now :p

Quick edit, more cannibalizing.

Two plans here. One focuses on fighting and the other on running.

[X] Action Plan: The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions
I submit here and now, that is what we all must do: We must fight...to run away.

Goals:
  1. Survive.
  2. Engage and defeat the Leaf ninja.
  3. Run away (hopefully).
  4. (Contingency) Engage and defeat the Hot Springs ninja.
Methods:
  1. Dispel.
  2. Engage and defeat the Leaf ninja.
    1. Immediately change our direction to South-Southwest.
      1. Prepare explosive-tagged kunai, implosion-seal kunai, shaped charges, genjutsu, taijutsu, Water Whip...
        1. Stupid boxes, with an explosive tag for remote detonation, are possible. BE VERY CAREFUL
    2. Locate and briefly ready an ambush position.
      1. If viable, hide behind a thicker outcropping of trees, wait for them to pass, and gank them from behind.
      2. If viable, tree-walk and ambush them from above.
      3. If viable, summon clones that can pretend to be "us". Let them fight and we ambush from behind/above/wherever.
        1. Be fucking careful about this.
      4. If viable, Syrup Trap or a Suiton/Raiton combo can be used. Clones can do this, too.
      5. If viable set up Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals, to be tripped just as they enter our Weapons kill range.
      6. Right before we fight, have Noburi supercharge our members so we guarantee not running out of chakra.
    3. Engage and defeat the enemy.
      1. Keiko/Kagome/Inoue start the ambush with the explosive/implosive kunai. This should suffice to kill or wound much of the Leaf-nin. At the least it'll distract them and force them to scatter.
        1. Make sure we time it so the bombs detonate where they'll be, not where they are. If they dodge we should have kunaibombs there when they arrive at their new location.
        2. If viable Inoue can target their fastest runner(s) with genjutsu to ensure they lose the roll against explosives.
          1. Can she hit multiple people with TLitF and keep them *out of it* without paying the price? Will multiple people dilute effectiveness or no? Things to ask her to consider.
        3. If viable Inoue can use Wind Wall to slow enemy Tactical Movement.
        4. If viable Inoue/Noburi can use Syrup Trap as additional flank: put it where they'll jump to and get them caught for follow-up.
      2. Akane, Kagome, Inoue engage.
        1. Code Black.
        2. Palm charges.
        3. Don't blow up your clothes, Kagome. We need you for the next fight.
        4. Genjutsu ONLY if necessary. Target the leader/head enemy, obvious reasons.
          1. Can she hit multiple people with TLitF and keep them *out of it* without paying the price? Will multiple people dilute effectiveness or no? Things to ask her to consider.
        5. Clones are a good idea. Combat, Henge and Kawarimi allies to safety. Use jutsu to kill or trap enemies.
        6. Stupid boxes ONLY if safe to use. NOT when allies are anywhere nearby, and NOT when we're winning quickly.
        7. Wind Wall to slow enemies & their weapons, also to boost us.
      3. Noburi and Keiko continue to fight at range with Water Whip/drain and kunai, respectfully.
        1. Explosive kunai are to be used ONLY when our allies are not nearby.
        2. Target enemies Inoue has genjutsu'd, if applicable.
        3. Clones are a good idea. Combat, Henge and Kawarimi allies to safety. Use jutsu to kill or trap enemies.
      4. Hazou protects Noburi & Keiko.
        1. Stay close, engage CQC against attacking enemies.
        2. MEW to split enemies from each other, or to crash enemies into trees. Or both. Both is nice.
    4. Take them out of the fight as fast as possible, don't waste time killing if they're already out.
      1. We want to ensure that they can no longer chase us.
      2. Make sure their healthy men << their seriously injured men.
      3. They're Leaf-nin, the "Will of Fire" is nice and exploitable.
      4. If they do chase, yes we kill them all.
  3. Run away.
    1. Move West-Northwest.
    2. Get chakra back from Noburi's barrel while running.
    3. Chakra boost to hell.
    4. PMYF to hell.
    5. If they're still faster, we fight.
  4. Engage and defeat the Hot Springs ninja.
    1. The same ambush prep + battle plan as above, with notes.
      1. You can blow up your clothes now, Kagome.
      2. Genjutsu can have more liberal use now. If Inoue wants to 24/7 genjutsu she should tell us and stay with Hazou (protection).
        1. TLitF multiple enemies if possible without too many malus die/price to pay.
      3. Lots and lots of clones. If they can use explosive tags turn them into kamikazes.
      4. STUPID BOXES. USE THEM ALL.
Contingencies:
  • Disguises: Face-concealing masks, Henge over all this. All the time.
    • Henges also work to ignore malus die since they make us "un-injured" until broken. Useful for Noburi especially since he's heavily injured but a ranged fighter.
  • Chakra: CHAKRA BOOST EVERYTHING
    • EVERRRRRYTHINNNNGGGG
    • This isn't literal, but we really should chakra boost a lot of our actions.
    • We want to win combat hard and fast, and run away hard and fast. Mari>Kagome>Keiko>Akane>Hazou, if Noburi has limited chakra to give.
    • Stay at fairly high chakra levels
    • Run across bodies of water (if there are any) to try and break any scent-based tracking and get Noburi somewhat topped up if there's time
  • Running away:
    • Use rivers to hide trail, treewalk (and treejump) to make the trail harder to notice. All are secondary considerations to speed, unless both squads are dead.
  • PMYF use:
    • Use Henge-to-decelerate plan:
      • The henge-to-decelerate plan is to transform into a blanket/large piece of fabric as we come in for a PMYF landing to slow ourselves down.
    • Optimal distance for swapping with a PMYF sub target of the same mass as us is probably like 250m in ~7 seconds, which a normal ninja traverses in about 18 seconds. We gain 11 seconds of extra time, not counting any more from explosions and changing course, but also not counting the non-ideal travel time (we probably go more like 175-200m) or deceleration to save our necks near the end of the flight.
    • For subbing with a 100kg target, the optimal distance is nearer to 460m, so actual travel is probably more like 350, so gain more like 15 seconds. These are even if they know exactly where we land.
    • PMYF costs a lot. 108CP for all of us to perform 1 rotation. We limit our use such that Noburi can refill all of us UNLESS doing so guarantees we'd escape/win a fight.
  • Our allies:
    • Make sure they don't do a stupid "heroic last stand" to let us escape.
  • FUBAR:
    • If any of the pursuing Leaf nin happen to be known badasses, we try to use Jiraiya's general password.
    • If things look bleak, try to get Keiko reverse-summoned to safety (she will probably not take this suggestion well)

[X] Action Plan: Bravely Bold Sir Robin
If at any point we choose to fight we commit to having to fight both a Leaf patrol and our very pissed off Hot Springs fanboysstalkerspursuers. We need to bug out. Faster, this time.

Goals:
  1. Survive.
  2. Run away.
  3. Slow the enemy down.
  4. Disappear.
Methods:
  1. Dispel.
  2. Run away.
    1. We're using chakra boost.
      1. We're counting on our larger chakra capacity to outlast these scrubs.
    2. Canteens out, we drink up from Noburi if we have to/decide to fight.
      1. Get to full, then supercharge before actually fighting.
    3. The primary goal is speed. We want to widen the gap to the point where we can go into full stealth mode and roll natural 20s100s without them being able to catch up.
    4. We angle ourselves West-Northwest so that the Leaf/Hot Springs ninja meet each other before us. With any luck they'll fight and we can make our escape.
    5. Wind Wall to boost our Tactical Movement.
    6. If viable, have the Jonin carry us slow-ass Genin, who are Henge'd into easy-carry form.
      1. If more viable, have Inoue-sensei's clones do it.
      2. Can the henged genin position themselves to kind of sit backwards on the jounin's shoulders? They'd be facing the enemy in pursuit and would have their hands free to do jutsu.
      3. Maybe a mild form of chakra adhesion would help steady them?
      4. It might up our chances if we can toss traps, clones and distractions from the back.
  3. Slow the enemy down.
    1. Fake our deaths.
      1. Drop the bodies in one spot. Put exploding tags on and around them.
      2. Summon Pandaa.
      3. PMYF away.
      4. Have Pandaa activate the explosives (with 5 s delay, so that Pandaa is unharmed) and despawn.
      5. Resulting explosion will scatter substitution targets and bodies, obscuring the fact that we escaped and making it look like we committed mass suicide.
      6. If we succeed we go straight to "Disappear" and stealth mode it.
      1. If this fails, then we do the other stally tactics below.
    2. Earth and Water Clones to lead enemies down the wrong place.
      1. If viable, send these clones with explosives to blow up elsewhere. Make it seem as though we're fighting in that place, not where we actually are.
    3. Use Pandaa to create an implosion seal distraction.
      1. Send him back, have him detonate implosion seal/large explosive seals, and desummon himself before he would get hurt by it.
      2. Secondary concern: Don't get seen. Desummon before they actually show up. Stay in hiding.
      3. If he can, have Pandaa use multiple Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals as traps.
      4. If the enemy actually chases him, have him lead them away from us.
      5. If clones can do this better, send them instead of Pandaa.
    4. Set up Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals while running.
  4. Disappear.
    1. Once we've made enough distance we go full stealth mode and follow the closest river system, get to Iron. More clones in various directions, but only at the start: Once we start moving in stealth, we want to not do anything that gives our position away.
    2. Ask Inoue-sensei if this is the best plan for when we break immediate enemy tracking: should we sneak the whole way or sneak for a bit and then run?
Contingencies:
  • Disguises: Face-concealing masks, Henge over all this. All the time.
    • Henges also work to ignore malus die since they make us "un-injured" until broken. Useful for Noburi especially since he's heavily injured but a ranged fighter.
  • Chakra: CHAKRA BOOST EVERYTHING
    • EVERRRRRYTHINNNNGGGG
    • This isn't literal, but we really should chakra boost a lot of our actions.

  • Fighting:
    • See The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions for how we're fighting.
    • Yes, if we end up fighting it'll probably be us vs. Leaf & Hot Springs.
      • The same plan applies, though.
      • Actually, if they join up wouldn't the slower Leaf patrol-nin kill their ability to engage on us?
Seriously.

Start talking.

It blows from the ground towards the sky.

Wind Wall Technique
Warps airflow in a fixed space. The basic form of the technique can deflect projectiles and/or interfere with enemy movement (penalties to Weapons/Tactical Movement). At higher levels, it is possible to change the size and intensity of the Wind Wall, as well as modifying it to alter the speed and direction of one's own projectiles. This technique receives a powerful boost when controlling existing winds, the stronger the better.

So how does the bolded work, exactly?

Look, @faflec, I'm not sure if I can keep working with you if you're going to catch every single time I forget some piece of previously-established and highly relevant canon. ;>

My mistake; I remembered it as a technique for blocking projectiles and forgot the rest of it. Yes, Inoue can use it that way, but she can't use it to control someone else's projectiles without a lot more work that she hasn't done yet. Also, Inoue is awful with ranged weapons -- she's an infiltration spec who studied taijutsu as a way to escape if captured during a mission. She never spent much time on long-range weapons combat, since the entire point was that she should never be engaged in it.

I was thinking more of "can she help boost our Tactical Movement" :)

One more round of edits, removed the 3-PMYF option, it's too expensive.
Posting this in rough form to start getting critiques in.

Suggest to Mari (note that PMYF is chakra intense, we should pick the use of it most likely to succeed, unless we can refill Noburi and get two rounds in):
  1. Fighting retreat
    1. Run with sustained chakra boosting, depending on our larger supply to outlast the incoming ninja. If they continue catching up, wait until they're close and then use ranged explosives to deter them (explosions, implosions, stupid box), followed by a second round of explosives and an attempt to PMYF out of there on a different course
      1. If they rapidly catch back up), move to a combat contingency
      2. Using clones like we practiced with is pretty chakra-intensive, suggest a henge-based decelertion (briefly become large quantities of fabric)
      3. When we PMYF, send clones in the original direction as a fake trail
  2. Fake our deaths
    1. Drop the bodies in one spot. Place exploding tags so that the remains will be anonymous but identifiably human
    2. Summon Pandaa.
    3. PMYF or stealth away to avoid leaving a trail.
    4. When the enemies get close, have Pandaa activate the explosives (with 5 s delay, so that Pandaa is unharmed) and despawn.

  3. Change direction to confront one squad or the other, or have them run into one another
    1. The Leaf patrol are probably weaker and if we kill them without sustaining serious injury we don't have to worry about a flank. But if the Hot Springs patrol catches up we're SOL.
      1. Attempt to wipe them out quickly so they can't join up with HS patrol against us (see point 1 of The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions)
    2. The Hot Springs squad are the stronger squad, but that also means they'll get there faster. It'll give us a longer window to fight them (before the Leaf patrol would catch up).
      1. Again see Pirates
  4. Barring the treaty having contingencies Leaf would accept built into it, having them meet up could itself be a delaying tactic, and the slower Leaf patrol might hold the HS ninja back
Disappear
  1. Once we've made enough distance we go full stealth mode and follow the closest river system, get to Iron. Follow the previous plan from here.
Contingencies
  • Stay at fairly high chakra levels, refilling as fast as possible when needed
  • Run across bodies of water (if there are any) to try and break any scent-based tracking and get Noburi somewhat topped up if there's time
  • If any of the pursuing Leaf nin happen to be known badasses, we prefer trying Jiraiya's general password to combat
  • If things look bleak, try to at least get Keiko reverse-summoned to safety
  • Make sure nobody tries any stupid heroics

I'm back and with one more potential suggestion. If Leaf + Hot Springs Team catch up to us, MEW and then pretend to be leaf team to Hot Springs Team, hopefully long enough to get in an alpha strike on them.
Can we guess where the two teams are likely to meet? If we can have Pandaa wait there with the explosives, we might be able to make the leaf patrol see foreign ninja coming right as an explosion goes off and assume they are under attack.
Also this, @faflec @OilWail

@faflec, 5 seconds is like 1000 years in ninja combat. I doubt Pandaa needs that long to bug out. Don't specify a time just let him pick it.

I'm not confident in our ability to guess where it'll happen. If we guess even a little too far off, Pandaa has to run around, and risk getting seen.

I was thinking more of "can she help boost our Tactical Movement" :)

She can interfere with an unlimited number of opponents as long as they're all in the AoE. She can boost her own TacMov while she's fighting in the AoE. She can boost one other person's in-combat TacMov if she's not fighting and is focusing on helping them. She cannot boost long distance speed, as the technique is not mobile after casting. The AoE is about a 15m radius. (Again, this is me making stuff up and it might change once I talk to @Velorien.)

@faflec Re: Pirates
  • We don't have a suiton/raiton combo:
Correct. You do not have a suiton / raiton combo available.
  • Mari shouldn't be in the long range explosives engagement under 'engage the enemy', as EJ says above
she's an infiltration spec who studied taijutsu as a way to escape if captured during a mission. She never spent much time on long-range weapons combat, since the entire point was that she should never be engaged in it.
  • You still have "Can she hit multiple people" in two spots

[X] Action Plan: Lore Update

Just in case we can have one. I'm still trying to catch up and the deadline is too soon for me to really contribute to any other plan.

I lied, @1234qwerty. New plan is here.

      1. Prepare explosive-tagged/implosion-tagged kunai (MOST IMPORTANT), shaped charges, genjutsu, taijutsu, Water Whip...
        1. Stupid boxes, with an explosive tag for remote detonation, are possible. BE VERY CAREFUL
    2. Locate and briefly ready an ambush position.
      1. Determine viability of attack position:
        1. Hide behind a thicker outcropping of trees, wait for them to pass, and gank them from behind.
        2. Tree-walk and ambush them from above.
      2. Right before we fight, have Noburi supercharge our members so we guarantee not running out of chakra.
      3. Other (lesser) suggestions to be done as viable:
        1. Summon clones that can pretend to be "us". Let them fight and we ambush from behind/above/wherever.
          1. Be fucking careful about this.
        2. Syrup Trap or a Suiton/Raiton combo can be used. Clones can do this, too.
        3. Set up Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals, to be tripped just as they enter our Weapons kill range.
    3. Engage and defeat the enemy.
      1. Keiko/Kagome start the ambush with the explosive/implosive kunai. This should suffice to kill or wound much of the Leaf-nin. At the least it'll distract them and force them to scatter.
        1. Make sure we time it so the bombs detonate where they'll be, not where they are. If they dodge we should have kunaibombs there when they arrive at their new location.
        2. Inoue can help with:
          1. Genjutsu: Target the fastest runner(s) so they fail their roll.
            1. Can she hit multiple people with TLitF and keep them *out of it* without paying the price? Will multiple people dilute effectiveness or no? Things to ask her to consider.
          2. Wind Wall: Hurt enemy Tactical Movement.
          3. Syrup Trap: Additional flank (with Noburi)
            1. Put it where they'll jump to and get them caught for follow-up.
      2. Akane, Kagome, Inoue engage.
        1. Code Black.
        2. Clones are a good idea. Combat, Henge and Kawarimi allies to safety. Use jutsu to kill or trap enemies. Be meatshields.
        3. Wind Wall to slow enemies & their weapons, also to boost us and ours.
        4. Genjutsu ONLY if necessary. Target the leader/head enemy(s), obvious reasons.
          1. Can she hit multiple people with TLitF and keep them *out of it* without paying the price? Will multiple people dilute effectiveness or no? Things to ask her to consider.
        5. Stupid boxes ONLY if safe to use. NOT when allies are anywhere nearby, and NOT when we're winning quickly.
        6. Palm charges.
        7. Don't blow up your clothes, Kagome. We need you for the next fight.
      3. Noburi and Keiko fight at range with Water Whip/drain and kunai, respectfully.
        1. Clones are a good idea. Combat, Henge and Kawarimi allies to safety. Use jutsu to kill or trap enemies. Be meatshields.
        2. Explosive kunai are to be used ONLY when our allies are not nearby.
        3. Target enemies Inoue has genjutsu'd, if applicable.
      4. Hazou protects Noburi & Keiko.
        1. Stay close, engage CQC against attacking enemies.
        2. MEW to split enemies from each other, or to crash enemies into trees, or to defend allies from approaching enemies/their jutsu.
    2. Get chakra back from Noburi's barrel when we have time (can do before the Hot Springs squad arrives, if applicable).
    3. Chakra boost to hell.
    4. If the Hot Springs squad is still faster, we fight.
  4. Engage and defeat the Hot Springs ninja.
    1. The same ambush prep + battle plan as above, with notes.
      1. Lots and lots of clones. If they can use explosive tags turn them into kamikazes.
      2. Genjutsu can have more liberal use now. If Inoue wants to 24/7 genjutsu she should tell us and stay with Hazou (protection).
        1. TLitF multiple enemies if possible without too many malus die/price to pay.
      3. STUPID BOXES. USE THEM ALL.
      4. You can blow up your clothes now, Kagome.
Contingencies:
  • Limited time to talk: Give the basics, then details in order of the list.

  4. Disappear.
Methods:
  1. Dispel.
  2. Run away.
    1. We angle ourselves West-Northwest so that the Leaf/Hot Springs ninja meet each other before us. With any luck they'll fight and we can make our escape.
    2. We're using chakra boost.
      1. We're counting on our larger chakra capacity to outlast these scrubs.
      2. The primary goal is speed. We want to widen the gap to the point where we can go into full stealth mode and roll natural 20s100s without them being able to catch up.
    3. Wind Wall to boost our Tactical Movement.
    4. If viable, have the Jonin carry us slow-ass Genin, who are Henge'd into easy-carry form.
      1. Can the henged genin position themselves to kind of sit backwards on the jounin's shoulders? They'd be facing the enemy in pursuit and would have their hands free to do jutsu/throw traps/clones/distractions
      2. Maybe a mild form of chakra adhesion would help steady them?
      3. If more viable, have Inoue-sensei's clones do it.
    5. Canteens out, we drink up from Noburi if we have to/decide to fight.
      1. Get to full, then supercharge before actually fighting.
  3. Slow the enemy down.
    1. Fake our deaths.
      1. Drop the bodies in one spot. Put exploding tags on and around them.
      2. Summon Pandaa.
      3. PMYF away.
      4. Have Pandaa activate the explosives (with minimal delay, but such that Pandaa is unharmed) and despawn immediately after.
      5. Resulting explosion will scatter substitution targets and bodies, obscuring the fact that we escaped and making it look like we committed mass suicide.
      6. If we succeed we go straight to "Disappear" and stealth mode it.
      2. If the enemy actually chases him, have him lead them away from us.
      3. If he can, have Pandaa use multiple Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals as traps.
      4. Secondary concern: Don't get seen. Desummon before they actually show up. Stay in hiding.
  • Limited time to talk: Give the basics, then details in order of the list.
  • Disguises: Face-concealing masks, Henge over all this. All the time.
    • Henges also work to ignore malus die since they make us "un-injured" until broken. Useful for Noburi especially since he's heavily injured but a ranged fighter.

    • Use rivers to hide trail, treewalk (and treejump) to make the trail harder to notice. All are secondary considerations to speed, unless both squads are dead.
  • PMYF use:
    • Use Henge-to-decelerate plan:
      • The henge-to-decelerate plan is to transform into a blanket/large piece of fabric as we come in for a PMYF landing to slow ourselves down.

Seriously.

Start talking.
@OilWhale The clones can contribute the Suiton portion. I don't think @eaglejarl would disagree.

Shit, that's the deadline?
E: Yup
Posting this in rough form to start getting critiques in.

[X] Training Keiko: Kawarimi 2-8
Save 44 XP

[X] Action Plan: Zoom Boom Zoom
Goals
  1. Survive
  2. Escape
  3. Don't get seriously injured
  4. Don't don't engage in combat
  5. Don't cause an even larger international incident
Methods
0. Dispel
    2. Throw down tripwire explosives to keep them paranoid and injure them if we're lucky.
    3. If they continue catching up, wait until they're close and then use ranged explosives to deter them (explosions, implosions, stupid box), followed by a second round of explosives and an attempt to PMYF out of there on a different course
      1. If they rapidly catch back up, move to a combat contingency
      2. Using clones like we practiced is pretty chakra-intensive, suggest a henge-based deceleration (briefly become large quantities of fabric)
    5. Resulting explosion will scatter substitution targets and bodies, obscuring the fact that we escaped and making it look like we committed mass suicide.
    6. If we succeed we go straight to "Disappear" and stealth mode it. If this fails, then we do the other stally tactics below.
  3. Change direction to confront one squad or the other, or have them run into one another
    1. The Leaf patrol are probably weaker and if we kill them without sustaining serious injury we don't have to worry about a flank. But if the Hot Springs patrol catches up we're SOL.
          1. e.g. hide behind a thicker outcropping of trees, wait for them to pass, and gank them from behind.
          2. If viable, tree-walk and ambush them from above.
          3. If viable, summon clones that can pretend to be "us". Let them fight and we ambush from behind/above/wherever.
          4. If viable set up Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals, to be tripped just as they enter our Weapons kill range.
          5. Right before we fight, have Noburi supercharge our members so we guarantee not running out of chakra if he has the chakra left
        3. Engage and defeat the enemy.
          1. Keiko/Kagome start the ambush with the explosive/implosive kunai. This should suffice to kill or wound much of the Leaf-nin. At the least it'll distract them and force them to scatter.
            1. Noburi/Inoue back up with Syrup Trap, Wind Wall
          2. If viable Inoue can target their fastest runner(s) with genjutsu to ensure they lose the roll against explosives.
            1. Confirm that she can hit multiple people with TLitF and keep them *out of it* without paying the price
            2. Leave how many people to her judgement
          3. Akane, Kagome, Hazou engage
            1. Code Black.
            2. Palm charges.
            3. Don't blow up your clothes, Kagome. We need you for the next fight.
            4. Stupid boxes ONLY if safe to use. NOT when allies are anywhere nearby, and NOT when we're winning quickly.
          4. Noburi and Keiko continue to fight at range with Water Whip/drain and kunai, respectfully.
            1. Explosive kunai are to be used ONLY when our allies are not nearby.
            2. Target enemies Inoue has genjutsu'd, if applicable.
            3. Hazou protects Noburi & Keiko when they shift to long range
            4. Stay close, engage CQC against attacking enemies.
            5. MEW to split enemies from each other, or to crash enemies into trees. Or both. Both is nice.
        4. Run away.
    2. The Hot Springs squad are the stronger squad, but that also means they'll get there faster. It'll give us a longer window to fight them (before the Leaf patrol would catch up).
    3. Barring the treaty having contingencies Leaf would accept built into it, having them meet up could itself be a delaying tactic, and the slower Leaf patrol might hold the HS ninja back[/spoiler]
    4. If we end up fighting either group not by choice, use similar tactics as by choice. Take them down hard and fast.
Disappear
Background considerations:
Optimal distance for swapping with a PMYF sub target of the same mass as us is probably like 250m in ~7 seconds, which a normal ninja traverses in about 18 seconds. We gain 11 seconds of extra time, not counting any more from explosions and changing course, but also not counting the non-ideal travel time (we probably go more like 175-200m) or deceleration to save our necks near the end of the flight.

For subbing with a 100kg target, the optimal distance is nearer to 460m, so actual travel is probably more like 350, so gain more like 15 seconds. These are even if they know exactly where we land.

QM Questions I didn't see answered, sorry if they were (@eaglejarl @Velorien):
