I don't think the implication was for Pandaa to suicide bomb them, just to hide around a MEW, or in a bunker or something and blow up a timed seal when they pass over to delay them, poofing out before it goes off. Which could work just as well with clones, maybe?
Why would it piss him off?

We need him to activate explosive seals and desummon before they go off, not engage in suicide bombing.

Also, clones have range limit, unlike Pandaa.
Thought Pandaa was to suicide bomb himself, my mistake.

A bit worried about revealing our Summon so soon but I'll add it in with a note that if clones can do better, they should.

Well, I mean, we don't have to actively reveal his presence. Just make a tiny little place in the bunker with some slits for him to peek through. ...ACTUALLY.

IDEA. Make a bunker out of the way with PMYF, wait for them to pass, and THEN have Pandaa activate it. Make both parties think there's fighting going on over there!

A really morbid but really unorthodox idea:
Have Pandaa explode leaf patrol's bodies. This will definitely add to the confusion. However, it can lead to complications with Leaf down the line.

Two plans here. One focuses on fighting and the other on running.

[X] Action Plan: The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions
I submit here and now, that is what we all must do: We must fight...to run away.

Goals:
  1. Survive.
  2. Engage and defeat the Leaf ninja.
  3. Run away (hopefully).
  4. (Contingency) Engage and defeat the Hot Springs ninja.
Methods:
  1. Engage and defeat the Leaf ninja.
    1. Immediately change our direction to South-Southwest.
      1. Prepare explosive-tagged kunai, implosion-seal kunai, shaped charges, genjutsu, taijutsu, Water Whip...
        1. Stupid boxes, with an explosive tag for remote detonation, are possible. BE VERY CAREFUL
    2. Locate and briefly ready an ambush position.
      1. If viable, hide behind a thicker outcropping of trees, wait for them to pass, and gank them from behind.
      2. If viable, tree-walk and ambush them from above.
      3. If viable, summon clones that can pretend to be "us". Let them fight and we ambush from behind/above/wherever.
        1. Be fucking careful about this.
      4. If viable, Syrup Trap, Suiton/Raiton combo, or Barrier Method Formation can be used. Clones can do this, too.
    3. Engage and defeat the enemy.
      1. Keiko/Kagome/Inoue start the ambush with the explosive/implosive kunai. This should suffice to kill or wound much of the Leaf-nin. At the least it'll distract them and force them to scatter.
        1. Make sure we time it so the bombs detonate where they'll be, not where they are. If they dodge we should have kunaibombs there when they arrive at their new location.
        2. If viable Inoue can target their fastest runner with genjutsu to ensure they lose the roll against explosives.
          1. Can she hit multiple people like she did us back at Hidden Swamp (when we learned Dispel)? Will this dilute effectiveness or no? Things to ask her.
        3. If viable Inoue can use Wind Wall to slow enemy Tactical Movement, or speed Keiko's weapons up.
      2. Akane, Kagome, Inoue engage.
        1. Code Black.
        2. Palm charges.
        3. Don't blow up your clothes, Kagome. We need you for the next fight.
        4. Genjutsu ONLY if necessary. Target the leader/head Jonin, obvious reasons.
        5. Clones are a good idea. Combat, Henge and Kawarimi allies to safety. Use jutsu to kill or trap enemies.
        6. Suicide boxes ONLY if safe to use. NOT when allies are anywhere nearby, and NOT when we're winning quickly.
        7. Wind Wall to slow enemies & their weapons, also to boost us.
      3. Noburi and Keiko continue to fight at range with Water Whip and kunai, respectfully.
        1. Explosive kunai are to be used ONLY when our allies are not nearby.
        2. Target enemies Inoue has genjutsu'd, if applicable.
        3. Clones are a good idea. Combat, Henge and Kawarimi allies to safety. Use jutsu to kill or trap enemies.
      4. Hazou protects Noburi & Keiko.
        1. Stay close, engage CQC against attacking enemies.
        2. MEW to split enemies from each other, or to crash enemies into trees. Or both. Both is nice.
    4. We DO NOT want to kill them all.
      1. We want to ensure that they can no longer chase us.
      2. Make sure their healthy men << their seriously injured men.
      3. They're Leaf-nin, the "Will of Fire" is nice and exploitable.
      4. If they do chase, yes we kill them all.
  2. Run away.
    1. Move West-Northwest.
    2. Get chakra back from Noburi's barrel while running.
    3. Chakra boost to hell.
    4. PMYF to hell.
    5. If they're still faster, we fight.
  3. Engage and defeat the Hot Springs ninja.
    1. The same battle plan as above, with notes.
      1. You can blow up your clothes now, Kagome.
      2. Genjutsu can have more liberal use now. If Inoue wants to 24/7 genjutsu she should tell us and stay with Hazou (protection).
      3. Lots and lots of clones. If they can use explosive tags turn them into kamikazes.
      4. SUICIDE BOXES. USE THEM ALL.
Contingencies:
  1. Disguises: Face-concealing masks, Henge over all this. All the time.
    1. Henges also work to ignore malus die since they make us "un-injured" until broken. Useful for Noburi especially since he's heavily injured but a ranged fighter.
  2. Chakra: CHAKRA BOOST EVERYTHING
    1. EVERRRRRYTHINNNNGGGG
    2. We want to win combat hard and fast, and run away hard and fast. Mari>Kagome>Keiko>Akane>Hazou, if Noburi has limited chakra to give.
  3. Running away:
    1. Use rivers to hide trail, treewalk (and treejump) to make the trail harder to notice. All are secondary considerations to speed, unless both squads are dead.
    2. PMYF to hell.

[X] Action Plan: Bravely Bold Sir Robin
If at any point we choose to fight we commit to having to fight both a Leaf patrol and our very pissed off Hot Springs fanboysstalkerspursuers. We need to bug out. Faster, this time.

Goals:
  1. Survive.
  2. Run away.
  3. Slow the enemy down.
  4. Disappear.
Methods:
  1. Run away.
    1. We're using chakra boost. 100%.
    2. Canteens out, we drink up from Noburi after we use like 5% chakra or something. We want no less than 95% chakra at any time, except Noburi who has more chakra than unbroken bones.
      1. We do not stop. We are running and drinking at the same time.
      2. If we have to, just pee ourselves. Hazou has experience :p
    3. The primary goal is speed. We want to widen the gap to the point where we can go into full stealth mode and roll natural 20s100s without them being able to catch up.
    4. We angle ourselves West-Northwest so that the Leaf/Hot Springs ninja meet each other before us. With any luck they'll fight and we can make our escape.
    5. Wind Wall to boost our Tactical Movement.
  2. Slow the enemy down.
    1. Blow up the trees so they fall on each other, and eventually on the enemy. They already know we're here.
    2. Earth and Water Clones to lead enemies down the wrong place.
      1. If viable, send these clones with explosives to blow up elsewhere. Make it seem as though we're fighting in that place, not where we actually are.
    3. Use Pandaa to create an implosion seal distraction.
      1. Send him back, have him detonate implosion seal/large explosive seals, and desummon himself before he would get hurt by it.
      2. Secondary concern: Don't get seen.
      3. If clones can do this better, send them instead of Pandaa.
    4. Set up 0.1-ninjasecond MEW bunkers so the enemy has to check if we're 'in' them.
      1. (Optional) Make a MEW and attach Five-Seal Barrier to it. The barrier seals don't have to be aligned and we don't have to actually make the giant slab of rock perfect. We want them to think it's perfect, and to waste time finding the seals.
  3. Disappear.
    1. Once we've made enough distance we go full stealth mode and follow the closest river system, get to Iron. More clones in various directions, but only at the start: Once we start moving in stealth, we want to not do anything that gives our position away.
Contingencies:
  • Disguises: Face-concealing masks, Henge over all this. All the time.
    1. Henges also work to ignore malus die since they make us "un-injured" until broken. Useful for Noburi especially since he's heavily injured but a ranged fighter.

    1. Use rivers to hide trail, treewalk (and treejump) to make the trail harder to notice. All are secondary considerations to speed, unless both squads are dead.
    2. PMYF to hell.
  • Fighting:
    • See The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions for how we're fighting.
    • Yes, if we end up fighting it'll probably be us vs. Leaf & Hot Springs.
      • The same plan applies, though.
      • Actually, if they join up wouldn't the slower Leaf patrol-nin kill their ability to engage on us?
Seriously.

Start talking.

Appropriate edits made to use the jutsu. I vote we get Keiko Zephyr's Reach 10 and Wind Wall 10 later.

Posting this in rough form to start getting critiques in.

[X] Training Keiko: Kawarimi 2-8
Save 44 XP

[X] Action Plan: Zoom Boom Zoom
Goals
  1. Survive
  2. Escape
  3. Don't get seriously injured
  4. Don't don't engage in combat
  5. Don't cause an even larger international incident
Methods
0. Dispel
Suggest to Mari (note that PMYF is chakra intense, we should pick the use of it most likely to succeed, unless we can refill Noburi and get two rounds in):
  1. Fighting retreat
    1. Run with sustained chakra boosting, depending on our larger supply to outlast the incoming ninja.
    2. Throw down tripwire explosives to keep them paranoid and injure them if we're lucky.
    3. If they continue catching up, wait until they're close and then use ranged explosives to deter them (explosions, implosions, stupid box), followed by a second round of explosives and an attempt to PMYF out of there on a different course
      1. If they rapidly catch back up, move to a combat contingency
      2. Using clones like we practiced is pretty chakra-intensive, suggest a henge-based deceleration (briefly become large quantities of fabric)
      3. When we PMYF, send clones in the original direction as a fake trail
  2. Fake our deaths
    1. Drop the bodies in one spot. Place exploding tags so that the remains will be anonymous but identifiably human
    2. Summon Pandaa.
    3. PMYF or stealth away to avoid leaving a trail.
    4. When the enemies get close, have Pandaa activate the explosives (with 5 s delay, so that Pandaa is unharmed) and despawn.
    5. Resulting explosion will scatter substitution targets and bodies, obscuring the fact that we escaped and making it look like we committed mass suicide.
    6. If we succeed we go straight to "Disappear" and stealth mode it. If this fails, then we do the other stally tactics below.
  3. Change direction to confront one squad or the other, or have them run into one another
    1. The Leaf patrol are probably weaker and if we kill them without sustaining serious injury we don't have to worry about a flank. But if the Hot Springs patrol catches up we're SOL.
          1. e.g. hide behind a thicker outcropping of trees, wait for them to pass, and gank them from behind.
          2. If viable, tree-walk and ambush them from above.
          3. If viable, summon clones that can pretend to be "us". Let them fight and we ambush from behind/above/wherever.
          4. If viable set up Barrier Method Formation (lesser) with explosive/implosion seals, to be tripped just as they enter our Weapons kill range.
          5. Right before we fight, have Noburi supercharge our members so we guarantee not running out of chakra if he has the chakra left
        3. Engage and defeat the enemy.
          1. Keiko/Kagome start the ambush with the explosive/implosive kunai. This should suffice to kill or wound much of the Leaf-nin. At the least it'll distract them and force them to scatter.
            1. Noburi/Inoue back up with Syrup Trap, Wind Wall
          2. If viable Inoue can target their fastest runner(s) with genjutsu to ensure they lose the roll against explosives.
            1. Confirm that she can hit multiple people with TLitF and keep them *out of it* without paying the price
            2. Leave how many people to her judgement
          3. Akane, Kagome, Hazou engage
            1. Code Black.
            2. Palm charges.
            3. Don't blow up your clothes, Kagome. We need you for the next fight.
            4. Stupid boxes ONLY if safe to use. NOT when allies are anywhere nearby, and NOT when we're winning quickly.
          4. Noburi and Keiko continue to fight at range with Water Whip/drain and kunai, respectfully.
            1. Explosive kunai are to be used ONLY when our allies are not nearby.
            2. Target enemies Inoue has genjutsu'd, if applicable.
            3. Hazou protects Noburi & Keiko when they shift to long range
            4. Stay close, engage CQC against attacking enemies.
            5. MEW to split enemies from each other, or to crash enemies into trees. Or both. Both is nice.
          5. Take them out of the fight as fast as possible, don't waste time killing if they're already out.
            1. We want to ensure that they can no longer chase us.
            2. Make sure their healthy men << their seriously injured men.
            3. They're Leaf-nin, the "Will of Fire" is nice and exploitable.
            4. If they do chase, yes we kill them all.
        4. Run away.
    2. The Hot Springs squad are the stronger squad, but that also means they'll get there faster. It'll give us a longer window to fight them (before the Leaf patrol would catch up).
      1. The same ambush prep + battle plan as above, with notes.
        1. You can blow up your clothes now, Kagome.
        2. Genjutsu can have more liberal use now. If Inoue wants to 24/7 genjutsu she should tell us and stay with Hazou (protection).
          1. TLitF multiple enemies if possible without too many malus die/price to pay.
        3. Lots and lots of clones. If they can use explosive tags turn them into kamikazes.
        4. STUPID BOXES. USE THEM ALL.
    3. Barring the treaty having contingencies Leaf would accept built into it, having them meet up could itself be a delaying tactic, and the slower Leaf patrol might hold the HS ninja back[/spoiler]
    4. If we end up fighting either group not by choice, use similar tactics as by choice. Take them down hard and fast.
Disappear
  1. Once we've made enough distance we go full stealth mode and follow the closest river system, get to Iron. Follow the previous plan from here.
Contingencies
  • Stay at fairly high chakra levels, refilling as fast as possible when needed
  • Run across bodies of water (if there are any) to try and break any scent-based tracking and get Noburi somewhat topped up if there's time
  • If any of the pursuing Leaf nin happen to be known badasses, we prefer trying Jiraiya's general password to combat
  • If things look bleak, try to at least get Keiko reverse-summoned to safety
  • Make sure nobody tries any stupid heroics
Background considerations:
Optimal distance for swapping with a PMYF sub target of the same mass as us is probably like 250m in ~7 seconds, which a normal ninja traverses in about 18 seconds. We gain 11 seconds of extra time, not counting any more from explosions and changing course, but also not counting the non-ideal travel time (we probably go more like 175-200m) or deceleration to save our necks near the end of the flight.

For subbing with a 100kg target, the optimal distance is nearer to 460m, so actual travel is probably more like 350, so gain more like 15 seconds. These are even if they know exactly where we land.

QM Questions I didn't see answered, sorry if they were (@eaglejarl @Velorien):
Is hiding with a Henge Stealth+Henge in the same way that disguising yourself with a Henge is Deception+Henge?

Looking at the transformation jutsu rules in the rules doc I don't see anything that disallows [turning into large amounts of cloth] except for the same rules governing substitution. Would be nice to get qm confirmation before putting it in a plan though.

@Velorien @eaglejarl Has our recent practical experience afforded us enough practice to improve our Stealth?

@eaglejarl @Velorien we got chakra from Noburi at camp and apparently didn't spend any on the run. Shouldn't everyone but Nobby have max chakra?

@Velorien @eaglejarl @Jackercracks Can we get chakra water from Noburi's barrel and drink it while running at chakra-enhanced speeds?

An idea for breaking our trail:
  1. Drop the bodies in one spot. Put exploding tags on and around them.
  2. Activate (with delay) exploding tags and PMYF away.
  3. Resulting explosion will scatter substitution targets and bodies, obscuring the fact that we escaped and making it look like we committed mass suicide.
This should at least delay our pursuers.

Thoughts?

Unless Wind Wall is movable after use, it wouldn't be any good for long distance tac move, though for the immediate breaking of distance it'd be great.

Any thoughts on my comments here, @OliWhail @faflec ?

Oh god yes.

Give me a sec, I'll write it in.

There's something I'd like people to consider when taling about the running plans.
I think most like the idea of running with chakra boosts in the smaller forms while henged.

But why not take advantage the team members with higher levels of henge while we do it?

I'm thinking of having Inoue and maybe Kagome in the back speed shoving those with the 2nd highest henge levels forward who will finally push Akane and keiko faster.

The two jonin would then decrease the mass in henge and speed up to catch up to the genin.

Hopefully this allows keiko and Akane to get more use out of their small henge level and tiny mass change.

Inoue and Kagome can also increase their mass on the initial push to give some oomph on the speed shoves they give the Noburi and Hazou.

Kagome---> Noburi---->Keiko
Inoue--->Hazou---->Akane

And if things get really too close, maybe the genin can henge into Kunai or something and have themselves get chucked forwards by mass increased Kagome and Inoue for a larger boost.

Stupid idea?

Might be a cool idea, but we haven't practiced it and don't have much time to explain, which is an issue with my plan right now too.

If at any point we choose to fight we commit to having to fight both a Leaf patrol and our very pissed off Hot Springs fanboysstalkerspursuers. We need to bug out. Faster, this time.

Goals:
  1. Survive.
  2. Run away.
  3. Slow the enemy down.
  4. Disappear.
Methods:
  1. Run away.
    1. We're using chakra boost. 100%.
      1. We're counting on our larger chakra capacity to outlast these scrubs.
    1. Fake our deaths.
      1. Drop the bodies in one spot. Put exploding tags on and around them.
      2. Activate (with delay) exploding tags and PMYF away.
      3. Resulting explosion will scatter substitution targets and bodies, obscuring the fact that we escaped and making it look like we committed mass suicide.
      4. If we succeed we go straight to "Disappear" and stealth mode it.
      5. If this fails, then we do the other stally tactics below.
    2. Blow up the trees so they fall on each other, and eventually on the enemy. They already know we're here.
    3. Earth and Water Clones to lead enemies down the wrong place.
      1. If viable, send these clones with explosives to blow up elsewhere. Make it seem as though we're fighting in that place, not where we actually are.
    2. Ask Inoue-sensei if this is the best plan for when we break immediate enemy tracking: should we sneak the whole way or sneak for a bit and then run?
Contingencies:
  • Disguises: Face-concealing masks, Henge over all this. All the time.
    • Henges also work to ignore malus die since they make us "un-injured" until broken. Useful for Noburi especially since he's heavily injured but a ranged fighter.
  • Chakra: CHAKRA BOOST EVERYTHING
    • EVERRRRRYTHINNNNGGGG
    • We want to win combat hard and fast, and run away hard and fast. Mari>Kagome>Keiko>Akane>Hazou, if Noburi has limited chakra to give.
  • Running away:
    • Use rivers to hide trail, treewalk (and treejump) to make the trail harder to notice. All are secondary considerations to speed, unless both squads are dead.
    • PMYF to hell.
  • PMYF use:
    • Optimal distance for swapping with a PMYF sub target of the same mass as us is probably like 250m in ~7 seconds, which a normal ninja traverses in about 18 seconds. We gain 11 seconds of extra time, not counting any more from explosions and changing course, but also not counting the non-ideal travel time (we probably go more like 175-200m) or deceleration to save our necks near the end of the flight.
    • For subbing with a 100kg target, the optimal distance is nearer to 460m, so actual travel is probably more like 350, so gain more like 15 seconds. These are even if they know exactly where we land.
  • FUBAR:
    • If things look bleak, try to get Keiko reverse-summoned to safety (she will probably not take this suggestion well)
Seriously.

Start talking.

Please note: I haven't managed to connect with the other QMs to discuss all this, but I want to make sure you have the answers for planning. Ergo, these answer apply for this update but they might change in the future.

Who are "the pangolins"? Kei doesn't have any specific summon able to dig tunnels quickly, and she can't call pangolins who aren't her summon.

She can call Pandaa and you do know that pangolins are pretty good diggers. Exactly how good you're not sure, but certainly better than humans.

Would the Iron Skin allow for Akane to quickly dig with her bare hands or would that break the skill?

As long as the soil wasn't too gravelly it should be fine. It won't let her dig at super-speed though, just at max human rate.

I don't remember if he has a maximum allowed distance from Keiko, though.

He does not. Clones have a limit of about 150m, but summons can go as far as they like.

If viable, Syrup Trap, Suiton/Raiton combo, or Barrier Method Formation can be used. Clones can do this, too.

So far there's no combination of jutsu available to you that allow you to safely combine water and lightning. Syrup Trap isn't conductive and Noburi's whip will conduct electricity but he'll be zapped as well.

Can she hit multiple people like she did us back at Hidden Swamp (when we learned Dispel)? Will this dilute effectiveness or no? Things to ask her.
Mari can do genjutsu on three people at once, right? Like she did on us when we left hidden swamp? Ask her about the upper limits there. Maybe she can tie up enough people to make the fights not suck for us.

The only genjutsu any of you are aware of that breaks the "one target only" rule is Truth Lost in the Fog, which she *really* doesn't want to use.

Chakra: CHAKRA BOOST EVERYTHING

Note that you don't actually have enough chakra to boost everything. (Although I've updated everyone's chakra back to where it should be.)

*begins throwing random ideas at the wall in the vague hope that something will stick and save us*

Is there time for Kei to go and negotiate a new summon who could help us out in actual combat?

Nope.

Could we make time by surrounding ourselves in MEW and setting up traps, so that we can weather the enemy's assualt for a bit longer?

You could try. Note that MEW is normal granite, so anything that will pierce rock will cut through it.

Can we spam dozens of clones/elemental clones and send them running in every direction to obfuscate our direction of travel (picking a new direction to run in, so they can't just follow the path we were originally going in, obviously)? Distance limit on clones/elemental clones?

You don't have the chakra for that, unfortunately. (Note that Mari's ability to summon a dozen clones back in VHitM was an error based on a mistaken formula in her spreadsheet -- her sheet was originally copied from Noburi instead of from the normal template, so her chakra was 2 or 3 times higher than it should have been.) Once we noticed the problem we cut her chakra back to the proper levels.

Can Akane use Firefly jutsu to start a forest fire to make it more hazardous to follow us?

Yes. It will be hazardous to you too, though.

Could we henge into someone with "run on sight" orders to get the enemies to disengage as soon as they spot us?
Orochimaru and his top enforcers? Do we even know what they look like?

The only such person you know of is Yagura, the Mizukage. And yes, you could do that. It's unlikely that the people coming after you would know what he looked like, though.

Maybe we could climb a tree, throw PMYF kunai in a 45 degree arc, and ride that 100mph flightpath as long as we can before making an elemental clone and subbing with it. That's got to be more distance than throwing from ground level.
Henged the same colour as the sky, obviously.

Yes, although there's some pretty significant risk with that trick. The clone can only appear within 3m of you, which means you'll be stopped, but you'll be stopped above the trees and will promptly fall.

Could we set up clones to pretend to be us with a severe injury that forced us to stop? It might slow them down for a few seconds.

Yes, although the clones will pop once you get more than 150m away.

To the same extent that wind is -- you don't see the wind itself, but you see the leaves and junk that it picks up.

e: Either way, assuming Mari's good enough at it to do so, make use of it to speed up Kei's throws, maybe?

The wall is really intended to block kunai; it blows up.

QM Questions I didn't see answered, sorry if they were (@eaglejarl @Velorien):

Thanks for putting these together. I was trying to find them and missing.

Can you add a bit more to your strat with regards to combat?
Good call, done. Gonna be out on errands for a bit, PLEASE MORE CRITICISMS

[X] Action Plan: Zoom Boom Zoom
Goals
  1. Survive
  2. Escape
  3. Don't don't engage in combat
  4. Don't cause an even larger international incident
Methods
0. DispelSuggest to Mari:
  1. Run with sustained chakra boosting, depending on our larger supply to outlast the incoming ninja. If enemies continue closing in we wait until they're close and then chuck say 1/5 of our ranged explosives, if that doesn't deter them do it again, include a stupid box this time, and attempt to PMYF out of there on a different course, repeat a couple times until either we're out off explosives or they run out of chakra. Then keep running a good long while, then hide our trail. If we run out of chakra or have thrown our last stupid box and they are not deterred yet, move to a combat plan
    • Other suggestions:
      • Using clones like we practiced with is pretty chakra-intensive, suggest a henge-based decelertion (briefly become large quantities of fabric)
      • Potentially PMYF over their heads if they're very close, so that we're backtracking on our own trail
      • When we PMYF, send clones in the original direction with orders to make lots of noise and then poof themselves
  2. PMYF three times in a row in semirandom directions to try and break the trail thoroughly, then either attempt to hide or chakra-boosted run
  3. We can change our direction so that if we have to fight we meet the Leaf patrol or the Hot Springs squad first, or have them run into one another
    1. The Leaf patrol are probably weaker and if we kill them without sustaining serious injury we don't have to worry about a flank. But if the Hot Springs patrol catches up we're SOL.
      • Attempt to wipe them out quickly so they can't join up with HS patrol against us (see point 1 of The Oldest and Noblest of Pirate Traditions)
      • Mari, Hazou, Noburi henge into the Leaf team we killed, the others set the dead bodies as sub targets; pretend to be ready to fight when the actual leaf team shows up, act relieved to see them, start 'explaining', then explosions/stupid box go off and sub with the bodes just as the HS teams shows up
    2. The Hot Springs squad are the stronger squad, but that also means they'll get there faster. It'll give us a longer window to fight them (before the Leaf patrol would catch up) but will be more dangerous.
    3. Barring the treaty already have contingencies that Leaf would accept built into it, which is possible but something Mari should know about, this is something that I'd think would eat a good amount of time if it doesn't come down to violence. Having them meet up could be a delaying tactic.
      1. (?) Have Pandaa near the place we want them to meet with an explosive, when they get to talking have him prime it for max time and desummon
Disappear.
  1. Once we've made enough distance we go full stealth mode and follow the closest river system, get to Iron. Follow the previous plan from here.
Contingencies
  • Run across bodies of water (if there are any) to try and break any scent-based tracking and get Noburi somewhat topped up if there's time
  • If any of the pursuing Leaf nin happen to be known badasses , we prefer trying Jiraiya's general password to combat
  • (?) If we have to use Jiraiya's password, attempt to do so in an actual sentence so it's not clear to people who don't know the password that we're attempting something
  • If things look bleak, try to get Keiko reverse-summoned to safety (she will probably not take this suggestion well)
  • If we really care about maximizing pymf speed boost to henge into smaller forms before using substitution as long as we're still the right size to switch with our prepared targets
  • If we are sure the HS ninja will catch us
    • Raise defensive MEWs and throw out Syrup Traps to control engagements within which Akane and Kagome make use of their directed explosives and Noburi and Keiko make use of their ranged attacks
    • Trap the area as much as possible beforehand
    • Keiko and Noburi covering everyone from a central position with weapons and whip
    • Mari genjutsus the most dangerous individual and take them hostage
    • Wind wall to deflect incoming ranged attacks (assuming Mari isn't genjing someone)
