Clone subbing is extremely chakra-heavy. Granted, I don't THINK that Mari has any techniques that're chakra-heavy so she can afford to burn about half her chakra on that maybe? If we can do this without clone subbing it'd be ideal. If we can get clones to sub with us we don't need to worry about soft landings from speed, though trying to land softly is still probably a good idea as a backup
If the Google doc was well-indexed and up to date it would be fine, but right now it's not always easy to find what you're looking for (if it's even in there)
Shiny! I look forward to both the analysis and the Stagate fic. Which flavor of SG?
Yup!Because nobody bothers to put in the work to keep it up to date?
Is it? We would be doing it a max of three times, so 15 chakra each..? With Noburi refilling that should be fine, I would hope.Clone subbing is extremely chakra-heavy. My guess? The issue is that the people best able to do so (the most heavily involved posters) are also least motivated to do so since they can just remember what's going on given the amount of time spent on the thread
Clones themselves are 20 chakra apiece, and they need to be given additional chakra to actually substitute with us, unless I'm mistaken, so that's a minimum of 28 chakra per clone, of which we'll need 6.Is it? Ahh, alright, that's fine then. Hmm, actually, can his clones use Vampiric Dew? Wait, no, we've been over this, that'd be a bloodline thing.Noburi can reabsorb the Chakra from his clones, so with some clever positioning he should be able to get much if not all of the Chakra back (not including that spent on substitution).
I don't think that'll be that big of a deal. Although we should have Kei throw most of the party's PMYF, I doubt Hazou could get the distance, and it's not like we all have to do so simultaneously.A possible problem with the PMYF: we are in a dense forest. If we use the velocity exchange to accelerate ourselves, we'd have to make sure that we don't clip any trees while we follow the ballistic arc.

Oh, I was looking at the technique that just said "clone". Can those ones not sub?Clones themselves are 20 chakra apiece, and they need to be given additional chakra to actually substitute with us, unless I'm mistaken, so that's a minimum of 28 chakra per clone, of which we'll need 6.
Not as far as I'm aware, they're just holograms. What 1234qwerty said applies though so we should be fine as long as Kei can manage to find good spots to throw from, which we've got a couple minutes to do.Oh, I was looking at the technique that just said "clone". Can those ones not sub?
Wouldn't that also get us more distance? We haven't practiced that though.Henge is limited by volume, not shape, right? What if to slow down, we briefly turn into a large piece of fabric?
I think we'd slow down too fast to really get more distance, though designing gliders could be something we put Akane on. Then we'll have seen gliders, and can henge into them!Wouldn't that also get us more distance? We haven't practiced that though.
I would tend to say henge into metal balls or rocks instead, less surface area.@OliWhail Would henging into long poles right after substituting net as a significant amount of increased distance over flying through the air in our normal forms? Henging into blankets would only be viable if we slow down fast enough to still have gotten from point A to point B more quickly than through normal tac move. It would still be a good tactic if we somehow screwed up and need to do emergency measures to not die. Looking at the transformation jutsu rules in the rules doc I don't see anything that disallows large forms except for the same rules governing substitution. Would be nice to get qm confirmation before putting it in a plan though.
Oh, never mind, we're fine then.Well, what questions are we still needing? There was an extension, we have ~21 hours at this point
