@eaglejarl, were you just meme-ing earlier, or do you have something specific you'd like to write for your update? Because I don't mind voting for "do what you want, we trust you" if that's the case.

Sounds like EJ has an idea... Eh, I trust him.

[X] Hey, EJ, write whatever you want
EJ: *writes Orochimaru infiltrating Hazou's basement and kidnapping him*
Is voting even open rn
Yes, I was only memeing. No, voting was not open at the time so these votes will not be in the tally. Thank you all for your confidence.

The intention of this plan is to do the meme vote with a few constraints. QMs, if this plan would not be fun to write please let me know and I'll pull it and try to write something real.

[X] Action plan: Eaglejarl writes mostly whatever he wants

Word count: less than 300.
  • Human Path (Offscreen):
    • Respectfully request a Tower loan for the Isan mission, explaining that our financial circumstances have changed dramatically since we undertook the mission.
    • Clarify which Clans have embassies and where with an eye to placing Summons of as many clans as possible in Spider.
      • Clarify the current state of the Condors, Condor Summoner - contracted with Conjura, leading active rebellion?
    • Explain plan, by memo if possible.
      • Begin research on Poor Man's Great Seal (Extended-duration, increased-intake Jiraiya's Awesome Daybright Lantern).
        • Good opportunity for Harumitsu to see practical seal research if appropriate for his studies.
      • Begin mass-production of PMGS ASAP.
    • Explore the feasibility of getting a single Turtle to Spider - if Neji can look at the chakra around the Great Seal, we can figure out how many PMGS we'll need.
    • Write the Isan team letters of support.
    • Hug Akane with Tsunade's permission.
    • Lavish praise on Gaku for keeping the clan going.
  • Seventh Path (Offscreen):
    • Spider:
      • Check in with away team. What can you get for them?
      • Check in with Kukomongo.
        • Explain that research is ongoing and that we can delay the seal failing.
        • Request permission to bring emissaries of other Clans to Spider so other Summoners can be present and help.
        • Ask her what she knows about geography - provide our map if culturally appropriate, ask for recommendations on how to bring representatives to Spider. (Shark transport?)
  • On-screen:
    • Pilot!Hazo acts consistently with his values and morals, checking anything that seems like a big decision with Akane, to do what he thinks is most appropriate and useful.

Who will free Snowflake from the chains of fear and self-hatred she inherits from me every time she comes into being?

If Snowflake is asked to assess Kei's abilities objectively and then re-integrates with Kei then her thought process would become part of Kei's memory. Kei would then generate contrary interpretations and should re-summon Snowflake for further reassessment. Repeat as necessary.

It's hard to argue with yourself, but easier when yourself can be another person who is also a genius and able to objectively analyze another person - who just happens to also be you.

[x] Interlude: life and times of Hagomoro Harumitsu
I should make you aware that the last time someone was incautious in how they wrote an interlude plan name, it resulted in Hana having sex on her birthday. If I were @eaglejarl, I would feel fully justified in using this interlude to write the amazing adventures of Sand's Hagomoro Clan, with blackjack and punching.

Edit: Poor kid. I can see three different spellings of his name on this page alone.

Hey, do we think we can get more money as compensation if we prove that the scrip failure was totally another clan's fault, especially if that clan was explicitly told to get along?

Also,
[X] Interlude: Noir Detective Haru

'Haramitu's Outstanding World-Saving Seal' for the look on the kid's face, and the fact that he functionally came up with the idea.

I'm very in favor of that name.

1) For the reasons given.
2) Improved relationship with his clan.
3) Be in better odor with Asuma to show we're sincere with making the truce work.
4) Improve's Hazou's reputation that after a mere few months of training with the Goketsu Clan Head, the clan of guts and sealing, an utter novice was able to be trained well enough to come up with the idea for a world saving seal.

Two now!

I would expect that we'd be able to get out of the crushing loans which we heroically took to save Leaf from the economic attack launched by traitors and have the money we used to that effect paid back. I personally am not holding out for a monetary reward, nor do we really need one. We were very liquid to start with, and being made whole would be more than enough.

On the political front, being made whole - say, the Hagomoro retracting their slanderous statements and affirming that while a young clan, the Goketsu have demonstrated great dedication to Leaf in a manner which honours the legacy of their founder, the legendary Jiriaya - would make me happy, too.

Snowflake has agency that Keiko lacks, but her self-image - and therefore Keiko-image - is probably inherited from Keiko. In this case your proposed solution may worsen the matter.

If Snowflake's perspective is different though, it can lead to cognitive dissonance for Keiko. Imagine remembering having two different opinions on the subject sensitive to you.

I don't know how she isn't a mumbling lunatic yet.

...

Yeah, let's implement this.

I mean, Kagome gets along well enough.
