I thought Atomus was the genin kid who went around shouting "Goketsu"? Did I misunderstand his age? I could've sworn he was like... 12 or 13 at the oldest... Did I misinterpret something? (Wouldn't be the first time, tbh)
 
Two questions:
How much does it cost to dispel? If over ≈1/3 the cost of casting a basic offensive genjutsu, we could try just spamming said genjutsu and then getting a refill from Noburi when low on chakra...
Do shadow clones have auras? If so, that sounds ridiculously OP... Imagine Naruto's aura (especially as he grows up) multiplied by 100+. I'm assuming no, but just in case, better check!

tl;dr It depends on the type of Genjutsu being used. Illusion-type (weaker) are 10CP, Dream-type (stronger) are equal the amount of chakra used to make the genjutsu.

Couldn't we just have Mari (or someone else) "Dream-type" genjutsu spam with chakra-water refills until the enemy runs out of CP, then? As long as the caster is well defended, why couldn't this take down enemies of almost any strength?

Also, from the genjustu list on the doc Faflec linked:
"Heaven Viewing Technique
Dream type. Control all five senses to make your target live out their deepest fantasies. Far less effective if used once combat has already begun." Umm... Like drugs but better? Sounds like easy money!

We had an idea around these lines involving Naruto and his bijuu-class chakra reserves.
 
For Naruto, it wouldn't be too much help since he is already a powerhouse. However, literally anyone should be able to do this (if they know such genjustsu) - unless there is a cap to how much chakra water is drunk, right? With the koi, too...

Maybe genjutsu (infiltration of foreign chakra into victim's chakra system... In canon, anyway, idk about MfD) disrupts SC chakra and causes them to dispel?

Not necessarily, since during Jiraiya's report on the USoUD Itachi had to stab the genjutsu'd Naruto clone to dispel it, rather than it dispelling immediately.

Keiko (and thereby, the Crystal Sisters) don't have a jonin aura yet. Occasionally Hazou will feel a weak proto-jonik aura, but if it's a proto-jonin aura, then it's very likely to be something they can't control just yet.

So... get a Snowflake and make her very angry, to a point just before she would get violent? And also give Keiko a note that she reads after we do that but before she summons the SC of course.

Not a very serious suggestion either. But I forgot to include an emoji, so that's on me.

That said, Keiko has let us Feel The Frost over relatively minor things.

Anyway, maybe a more ethical experiment would be having Snowflake join us on an errand that she knows might make her angry and wanting to intimidate someone.

Or just ask people who have interacted extensively with both Keiko and Snowflake (like her husband) whether he noticed anything on this subject.

I am not comfortable with this line of experimentation and will not vote for it. If you want me to vote for it, wait until a Goketsu ninja (who knows SC) can flex their aura at will and is also willing to help us experiment with it.

Mari was hesitant last time around, and I'm reluctant to ask for her help in this endeavor. Furthermore, she doesn't know the shadow clone jutsu, and getting permission for her to learn it would likely involve her being reinstated into active duty, something that she would not be willing to do (besides, if she wanted to learn it, Mari would've told us by now. Mari has agency and isn't shy about what she wants).

Eh, it was only an idle thought borne from someone else's question. I don't even quite know why this information would be useful in the first place.
The only potential benefit I can think of is being able to develop and train your jonin aura while also being able to observe it from the outside but a) being able to feel a copy of your own jonin aura as someone else would is not a given even if SCs can project it and b) one coud just have the original try projecting the aura and have an SC give the feedback.

And of course we could also just ask Asuma.

How come Atomu never learned MEW from us back when we were hiring MEW users as much as we could?
Do any of the three have ideas they want to share for the good of Uplift, the clan, Leaf, the people on the estate, or even just directly to the personal benefit of any one clan member (as long as it isn't at odds wit any of the former)?
