So what should we do? How would you like to deal with this situation?

If they don't want to officiate the wedding, then find someone or somebody that could also grant us the same legitimacy to make the hokage happy. Don't apologize for Keiko's relationship. Use whatever traditions that's good enough.

If we can't get the political legitimacy we needed for the marriage, then we'll need to start considering more drastic options. Nuclear options should be used as only last resort.

Destroy the clan, not its people. Remove all their influence on Leaf society and integrate them into the new.

You can't do that without making the people in a clan feel losses of any kind. It must hurt.

Can you expand on this? I am failing to make the connection between them slighting one of our family and actively endangering Leaf.
One of the major reasons that Yuno was going to marry either Noburi or Neji was was the fact that it would be a powerful card to play to get them into an alliance. By not marrying them they are actively endangering Leafs shot at an alliance over their bigotry

If they don't understand this, then they should learn this and have the opportunity to change their mind before escalation.

This is literally the shittiest appeasement take I have ever heard. You do realize that you're asking to just sit down and calmly explain things to the same type of people who want to have me specifically die. Trying to educate them doesn't work in the real world and it won't work here

Appeasing what?

All they need to understand is how their bigotry will impact Leaf's security. Once that is understood, they can either move themselves out of the way or face increasing escalation.

It's a five minute conversation.

I think Kiba just means they deserve a chance to try not being a bigot before they get rekt. My argument would be that this and Keiko's law were their chances

What if she just marries somebody other than either of them? The Nara are bound to have another aromantic around. She marries them as a legal fiction, then is adopted into Goeketsu, and she and Noburi proceed as they would have.

Nuclear options are when people gets hurt, and there will be collateral damage.
Well, duh. Collateral damage is half the fun.

That's language of the oppressor, though I doubt you mean it to be
It's not fair that someone else can be cruel to you, and when you meet their cruelty with resistance, they blame the escalation on you. It's not the oppressed's job to pull their punches when they are the ones being marginalized.

Excuse me? Don't use shitty behaviors of others as excuse to act shitty toward people.

Adding onto this, I think the main thrust is less 'if we explain that their bigotry is getting in the way of national security they'll stop being bigoted' and more 'if we explain that their bigotry is getting in the way of national security then they'll make an exception and resume their bigotry insofar as it does not get in the way of national security'.

Which is still the sort of thing I'd want to take them down a peg or ten for, to be fair, but if the main reason we want to go destruction is that they're willingly interfering with national security then it sounds like the calculus on going that far would change if they make the exception.

This can be taken in many bad ways not the least of which is the interpretation of do not slay evil.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." ― Edmund Burke.
And?

Shitty people had been using excuse of "other people are shitty" as justification for massacre, genocide, and marginalization.

I literally hate this comment. The idea that defending yourself makes you a bad person is ridiculously problematic. Is Hazou a bad guy for killing those 3 ninja in LTBHTF?

Self defense is one thing, advocacy for destruction of an entire clan is another.

I don't think Yuno would be comfortable with that. She was raised in Isan, and was going to cut romantic ties with Noburi since she was going to marry Neji. It seems that, in her mind, marriage and romance are too intertwined to separate out, otherwise she could have just married Neji and continued dating Noburi. She would've been able to help Neji "hone his anger" while still retaining the "colors" that Noburi brings into her life.

I am advocating for shooting them in their social faces if they don't back down shooting them in their financial faces if they don't back down shooting them in their physical faces. I sincerely cannot physically care about slaying evil when they have been given many chances to not be evil.

Then don't advocate the destruction of a clan so casually.
