@Muer'ci Added your social points, not sure how much good they'll do but they are there.

Thanks to @ChronOblivion Kagome got his own special section in the beginning of the plan and I removed the parts I had for him from the end of the plan. I tried to balance it so he would scale back a bit without becoming completely useless. I mean, a proper paranoid person is an asset to team, we don't want him going completely soft.

The sealing plan now has us infusing 3 storage scrolls. If someone wants to challenge that I suggest pistols at dawn...or maybe just give me a reason to change it and I probably will.

I also tampered with the wording in regards to Akane learning the Firefly technique. New things in PINK!

Man, I love this thread. People here always find some way to make me laugh.
 
My read on Takahashi's surface motives is that he wants the village to be forced to change via the loss of the summoning scroll.
That being said, we're ninja. Looking underneath the surface, and then underneath that, should be expected.

I have to admit that I have no inspiration on what to do XP wise, but since there's 6 hours to deadline we do need something. These plans go with the Action Plan: Sealing and Chill, especially Hazou's. If you voted for a plan that didn't involve Hazou doing sealing, I suggest you make a different training plan or just vote Training Hazou: Nope.

We could consider allowing Noburi to do some research on his water techniques. Draining through water whip or mist techniques, etc.

I think that's too vague for getting us anything. Obviously there's people working against us but there's not really much we can do on that front expect try to not give them more ammo.

I also missed your earlier training plan, I changed my vote for it though.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that we had only to choose between leveling up sealing or researching seals whereas other skills did not have the same limitation.

If I had to guess, so that if someone pings you in a post, and then realizes that the spelling was throughly mangled and goes back to fix it each time they notice a new mistake, you don't get an inbox full of pings. Yes, the software could track who each post has previously pinged and not notify them or request a confirm before notifying, but that's more work and takes more memory.

Oooh! So there were actual training plans already done. I was so worried about the lack of action plans I missed them.

I think the current consensus is that as long as we have Noburi in the party we don't really need regeneration since he can just leech wildlife. In practice, this means we should keep regeneration at half of capacity and only start raising it if we lose Noburi. So Regeneration is wasted XP for the moment...most likely.


So, 5 people are voting for sealing research but nobody is voting for the plan (Just Sealing and Chill) that tried to take the political situation into account while preparing for the sealing research? o_O

I guess I'll have to add something like "Make a sealing research area as an addition to the fort and hope that the locals don't get testy about it" into Just Chill...But I mean really, what are we telling the locals when they start asking questions? I think I'll add asking Yoshida and Takahashi for their opinion about sealing research, but I'm almost certain that they will deny us a permission and/or demand oversight.

But please don't add that to Just Chill. If we can't research the seal because we don't have a place to do it, then the research should just not happen, in that Kagome is not going to allow it. But if we add the sealing bunker to our fort, then we have to deal with the fallout, unless we luck out and Mari decides to nix it.

For Akane, I agree that regeneration is not where she needs her points. But a self-training level in jutsu is level 1, so we have 34 XP we can spend beyond the two jutsu (if the update contains enough time for her to do so).

Oh yeah, you made that alternative plan just below mine that had the option of doing the sealing in our own bunker. I guess the people who don't want to involve locals in our sealing business can vote for that.

I suppose I should remove my vote for the non-sealing plan for the off chance that more voters show up and vote for the actual sealing plan.

I wouldn't level the social skills for Akane now. We have plenty of social weight in the team already and Akane is behind everyone in XP. I think we should save the XP and vote for proper training plans when there are more voters around. The teams current big weakness is explosives and we will need to figure out how we are going to tackle that soon.
 
Question: Has it ever been stated that seals interact in any unusual fashion with chakra? For instance, if you used the substitution jutsu on a (sufficiently big) scroll, would it activate?

We won't get Akane up to being able to talk to the elders unsupervised any time soon, but I'd like to get to the point where her social skills are not overwhelmed by even run-of-the-mill village ninja.

My only semi-joking MfD head-canon is that we actually invited Kagome along just so he would be available to troll, and we have a whole list of these questions stored up so that we can ask them any time that it looks like he might be starting to relax a little.

Re regen, I mostly agree with "let Nobby take care of chakra " plan but I want a base regen rate of 25-ish for Akane first. Just in case.

Wow. I'm actually agreeing with you on this plan, @HyperCatnip. What madness is this!:p
Its probably the best plan we have here, so congrats on making it. It captures accurately what I want our relation with the village to be, except for that bit on telling our friend Takahashi our intentions. We'll need to do more social to conquer this village when we get the contract, too. This should get us XP to do it. I mean, we will(hopefully) be under pressure so we can maximise XP gains from this.

However, something did vex me:
You mentioned training up on the village customs, and then in contingencies it says don't do training that requires interaction with locals. Can you clarify this?
