@Velorien Those were extremely pleasant to read. Very nice resolution(? I never know with you folks) of the Keiko-Ami debacle. I enjoyed the addendum a lot, it was a really thoughtful interaction. Also, "Hazō laughed." filled my icy heart with glee.

I hope she didn't forget about the survey. Well, there's still game night...

I dont think Ami has that much influence on finding Naruto? Like, she's way more powerful than we are, but I doubt there are things she can do that say Kakashi couldn't.

Why do we dislike Ren IC in particular again?

She might have been the clan heir but considering so was Hana before she got kicked out so it doesn't seem like a role with a lot of power.

And Hana getting kicked out for marrying out of the clan has always been somewhat suspicious. There is likely more to that than what we have been told, it possibly just being an excuse to get rid off her.

(And OOC we know Ren does care about Hazou and Hana somewhat.)

Just point out in self-reflection that Hazou's being a hypocrite holding Ren's past actions against her after telling his mother off for doing so against Mari. At least Ren has externalities to consider and not suicidal spite.

Proposed plan edits.
[X] Action Plan: Shins and Spynetworks
  • Sanity check: run everything by Keiko, Noburi and Jiraiya
    • Keiko speaking of favors:
      • It's obvious Shikamaru has offended you.
      • Would you mind us charging him up the wazoo for consultations on future stupid ideas that may involve you?
      • We can make it a joint Hazou/Noburi effort. Win-win for everyone?
    • Noburi:
      • You're inviting your family right?
    • Jiraiya:
      • On second thought, invite all the Kage to game night. We refuse to let our personal grudges get in the way of politics and networking. We must be the better man.
      • Also: we can temper our hatred of That Woman for one night in the name of international collaboration via tabletop games.

She cares about Hana because of course she would she isn't a souless machine, she just acts like one. Hazo on the other hand has no actual relationship with her in any capacity if I understand it right. They don't have any type of connection to speak of beyond being related. Hell I'm pretty sure the chunin exams are the first time the two have ever met. He doesn't hate her in particular, he hates the Kurosawa and her by proxy.
