What, do you think we don't have plans for an offense against the Out? Nonexistence is no excuse for being rude. We'll teach the Out better manners, don't you worry.
Transport the rift to the seventh path so that we can just have the Pangolins fight the burning legion instead of other cute animals.

Although, I have to say, the Hazou x Ino conspiracy is a bit put out that we went back to a vote last Thursday. Here we thought we were going to trick everyone into having meaningful HazouIno content on Valentine's Day, under the guise of something so practical and reasonable that I'm not sure if anyone actually considered that particular facet. Alas, our clever plot has been foiled.

We have and have had the patience to wait literal years for our chance.

We shall endure.

My money is on the rest of the 7th path being just as fucked up. We should preemptively nuke it from orbit imo.
Just spread the rumor that infusing seals in the 7th path prevents most sealing failures. We can pretend like thats our secret (in the future we can) that we learned from Jiraiya.

Someone is eventually going to roll an extremely bad one and destabilize whatever witchcraft is keeping that demiplane stable, sending them crashing into oblivion.

Kills idiots who think its smart to fuck around with sealing based on hearsay, too.

If you really want to make it with Ino, have her read Hazou's mind to convince her that he's the single most important person in the Elemental Nations since the Sage, what with the direct link to a hive mind of people with access to high technology and blueprints for how to make working human societies. (Well, more or less working. 'Working better', let's call it.)

And even if she can't see the meta level, what she'll see is a compassionate multi-subject genius inventing things to improve society like a ninja Leonardo DaVinci. Who wouldn't date that?

If there is a link to hivemind left in Hazou's mind, than Yamanaka would probably overload trying to read minds of all of us. In this case the last thing you want is read Hazou's mind. I heard brain fried girlfriends are no good

I'm really curious about what's going to happen that invalidated the Goketsu conversations, I must admit. We based the plan around what eaglejarl said about where Jiraiya, Noburi, and Keiko are, and this was almost two weeks ago so there would've been plenty of opportunity to redact those things if the QMs decided that couldn't be so. This leads me to two broad possible explanations:
  1. The change in situation only got decided on recently, as a result of one of the interim chapters.
  2. Jiraiya, Noburi, and Keiko are all there like eaglejarl said, but the conversations would've gone so much differently than the original draft that there was no salvaging the scenes.
For the life of me I can't decide which option scares me more.

yes, chakra gazebos are now a thing.
Very true. I MUST use them at some point.

Somehow I doubt there's actually a "sunshine and puppies" result in the table :thonk:
You'd be surprised.

Option #3: EJ is a dipshit who forgets QM discussion after a couple weeks then discovery-writes, and only lightly edits, his updates.

Don't make us have a Keiko intervention on you.
Don't be too hard on yourself, we wouldn't want--
--yeah, that.
Y'all are sweet, but I'm okay with owning my faults. I am lucky to have great collaborators who don't get too bent when I accidentally something, and we all enjoy brainstorming, worldbuilding, and game designing together. Plus, I get to write for an appreciative audience of smart, interesting, creative grownups who know to leave the drama at the door. What's not to like?

Okay, but I'm watching you!
