Looking good. Hopefully Hazou will be using it in every ambush fight if it only costs 10 CP. Supplementary may not mean 'between rounds', but it does mean Hazou can use it and still PUNCH on his turn.

Note to QMs: In no plan have we ever identified Pantokrator's Hammer as being a Jutsu we wish to conceal. The Armor jutsu, yes. Not PH.

@OliWhail @Velorien @eaglejarl Is this accurate? If so, when Kyo boosted in the update, did he decide to do it before his ally was harmed? Additionally, was the boost applied to his next initiative, as it was in the old system? On surprise rounds, I'd assume targets could chakra boost even before rolling any combat skill. Does that sound right? It seems like deciding when to chakra boost will be a difficult thing to predict in plans, perhaps regardless of rules. Qualifiers that might be useful: if we expect to roll more than X times in that round, if we expect to roll a combat skill, or if we expect boosting will reduce total rounds of combat by 1. None of these strike me as particularly elegant.
Relevant comic.

I've said this multiple times and apparently it keeps being missed, so pardon me if the following is a bit aggressively framed:

SUPPLEMENTAL CASTING SPEED DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN USE A JUTSU BETWEEN ROUNDS.

SUPPLEMENTAL CASTING SPEED MEANS THAT YOU ONLY NEED TO USE A SUPPLEMENTAL ACTION INSTEAD OF A STANDARD ACTION TO CAST THE JUTSU.

IN ORDER TO USE A JUTSU BETWEEN ROUNDS IT MUST HAVE THE 'REFLEXIVE CASTING' ADVANTAGE.

The only jutsu that have Reflexive Casting (and can therefore be used between rounds) are MEW and Substitution.

Hm, sorry, still a bit confused. Does this mean you can use two supplemental casting speed actions between rounds?

Maybe adding some bright arrows would help with the explanation.

Yessss, we must stack more Taijutsu bonuses. I can't wait until the tournament, where everyone will be expecting the Hokage's crazy sealmaster son to somehow build an impromptu fort in the middle of the arena and rain explosive tags on his opponent. Instead, Hazou will just KO the poor fool in two rounds with his 61* effective Taijutsu. I hope the update containts a detailed description of the look on Shikamaru's face after that.

* Is my math correct here? Looking at the character sheets linked in the info post, assuming Pantokrator's Hammer at 10, it's 40 (base) + 3 (Iron Nerve) + 3 (Pangonlin Gauntlets) + 5 (Roki Aspect Bonus) + 10 (2x Aspect Bonus from Pantokrator's Hammer) = 61

Oh dear.

64. He gets another +3 from macerator rings. And make that 69 if we can get him Explosion Master before the tournament.

But it should be noted that he can't boost if he uses PH.

E: yes, add Ghost Scales bonus to that as well, Oneiros is right.

Hazou "I changed to a new system and am at S class rolls already" Goketsu.

XVIM: (throws marble at HAZOU's head)

I believe this is the fourth time Hazou's reached jonin dice? I'm not sure it will last. The other times were much better justified in the debuffs, but it could still happen here if EJ's "oh dear" is an indicator that he thinks Hazou being that good under these circumstances is non-simulationist.

Pantokrator's Hammer is only at Rank 1, so it can only provide 1 tag... makes buying it up to rank 10 a priority!

On the other hand it could be to our advantage over the chuunin exams at least since I doubt they're inclined to stop updating.
