Edit: Oh crap I can't read, sorry about that

@eaglejarl @Velorien @OliWhail Between the three of us, what does our team have in the way of tools that Hazou can quickly think of? How many of each type of seal?

I'm also a bit worried that Keiko will think we offed Minami ourselves so that we can tie up that loose end without no-deception-dice Kagome knowing we were responsible. Akane will probably (90-95%) believe us as soon as we explain what happened, but Keiko might harbor doubts (~20% odds as a gut feeling). If so, I don't want to leave those unaddressed but I also don't want Hazou to confront her on the matter and basically say 'I think you don't trust me' which would be a huge slap in the face.

I think the party knows Hazou well enough to be sure that he wouldn't do that without some outside influence.

I think Keiko's model of us is better than that. Killing Minami would be highly inconsistent with Hazou's idealism and prior behaviour.

If she believes that after living with him for over a year then we should ask for her 30XP back because the frozen skein is clearly broken.
Frozen Skein isn't OP, it's limited to what Keiko would actually know.

And, being a horrible pessimist, Keiko would conclude that we were secretly evil this whole time, but she never noticed the signs because she's useless.

1. Kind of hard to use Misterators for Noburi to detect anything when we're locked in a house and can't get significant amounts of mist outside.
Yeah, that part's to make sure there's no surprises left in the house for us.

2. Waiting for ten minutes seems foolish. If she's intent to hang around and kill us, then we don't want to give her more prep time. Spend the minimal time we need and no more.
It seems unlikely that she will set that much up in 10 minutes, given that she had an undetermined amount of time. This also gives enough time that if she's retreating, she won't be around to see whatever opsec breaches we're about to commit.

3. Picking the lock is dumb. What if she's trapped it? Or just waiting for us to come out the door? Just blow up some walls and GTFO/ Explosive seals aren't a problem for OPSEC.
Fair.

If we have Minami's body, it should be obvious we didn't do it ourselves. We don't make people into Pez dispensers. That's outside our skill set.

I am not sure what we should do, but I am pretty sure capturing Hazō or even getting their hands on the skywalker seals would be worse than an opsec breach of using it to escape.

Honestly the best move for leaf is for us to kill the enemy ninja that way the messages don't leak

So, people are on a few different planes about what's happening. Here's a few interpretations of how this is working and what's likely to happen next, in rough order of probability

  1. Jounin is a Yakuza hit
    1. Message was sent, damage was done, mission was successful. Likely going to hang around in observation range, but unlikely to engage unless confident they will win.
    2. This means that so long as we break any observation she has on us and use skywalkers (even through the trees, just so we don't leave a trail), we'll be alright. It's unlikely she's waiting directly outside, but probably close enough to watch the house
  2. Jounin is a Jiraiya hit
    1. Minami is dead, mission completed, on her way home. If this is true, then there is no remaining danger. Thus, we should not change short term plans to account for this.
So, I figure that the enemy is likely observing from a safe distance. This means that so long as we can break out and break observation of us before she can close distance or get any long range attacks she may have off, we're safe. Ideally, we'll break observation of us before using skywalkers. My current plan has this working by using a distraction known as "~500,000 cubic meters of fire, 1,000,000 cubic meters of smoke, and 800,000 cubic meters of mist, with clones running out in a bunch of directions." I *think* this should be enough that the enemy is unable to exactly determine that we're using skywalkers. If our enemy is dumb enough to lie in wait nearby us, they will die. If they're far enough away that they're just observing, they likely won't be able to see clearly enough to make out us running up into the clouds aside from just a bit more shrapnel.

Come to think of it, is it possible that we might have been caught in a genjutsu that controlled our actions while feeding us a false reality? CONSTANT VIGILANCE! UNDERNEATH THE UNDERNEATH!
