I'd read it. The setting seems odd for a quest though. Powerlevels seem to have more to do with innate abilities than naruto.

I know approximately nothing about Bleach, but then again lack of canon knowledge hasn't stopped me from reading Naruto fanfic either.

I've already had to throw out tons of canon, so really pretty much everything outside of the basic premise of "Spirits exist, some go on the the afterlife peacefully, some degrade into ghost-monsters that are then fought by warriors from the afterlife society with weapons manifested from their own souls" is up in the air.
So, no, Ichigo doesn't get to have five different parents plus Shounen-protagonist powerups

That sounds fun. Bleach was great in the beginning and if you can get some of the feels generated by the Soul Society Arc while maintaining internal coherency I'd totally read it.
Not sure about participation though. MfD kinda takes all my juice slotted for questing.
