I acknowledge we messed up. My mind was tired yesterday and I trusted the thread to be sane. But I guess a lot of others thought the exact same thing, we've seen the very scary consequence of voter apathy, and I'm going to be voting in every single round from now on.

This is exactly what we're doing: asking for mercy and demonstrating that most of the thread is in agreement that your plan shouldn't have been thrown away. It was voter apathy and too many contrarians wanting to make a joke at the expense of not supporting a plan that they actually supported. It shouldn't have happened, basically everyone is in agreement that it shouldn't have, and we've learned our lesson. This my desperate attempt to protect the quest from the huge incoming hit to Hazou's characterization.
