The big question imo is whether Quisling Tyrants are part of the Quisling species or if they're something distinct. It would be a lot easier to breed Quislings and then let them spawn a (hopefully tamable) Quisling Tyrant than it would be to try and tame Quisling Tyrants directly.
I'm guessing they are, but there'll be some annoying Lamarckian chakra bullshit intermediary step, like "a quisling must consume 100 creatures with 500+ CR in circumstances where it's part of a hunting pack and the best strategy is to use its packmates as meat shields", and if we get the "best strategy" part wrong, the quisling will instead metamorphose into a Brute, not a Master.

Shit, sorry, I meant Metis. Metis was a goddess of knowledge, who was fortold to give birth to a daughter wiser than Zeus. Zeus ate Metis, because of course, and got a splitting migraine some time later. The common treatment for migraines back then was to crack the skull "to alleviate the pressure." Zeus did that/had that done to him, and out popped Athena.

Yeah, Minerva is Athena's roman name, I just got the names Minerva and Metis switched up in my head.
I was also under the impression Hera was Zeus' sister, not daughter... but Greek myths are so weird and inconsistent I can honestly see both being true :p

aight, I feel like more than once my plan has won because it was the only option and I think this will lead to bad decisions down the line. I mean just look at my track record so far I think there's plenty of folks who have the energy to help refine plans but not draft their own, so for the next while, for any cycle that I post a plan and there aren't other plans, I will instead try to post 2 plans. (This cycle, my 2 plans are kinda samey because I think the Great Seal stuff is pretty much critical, but if you disagree...you can always post a plan :p)

[X] Action Plan: In Which Hazou Attempts to Mend Several Types of Rifts
Word Count: 270
  • Request a meeting with Hinata
    • We noticed you purchased a large quantity of scrip. Hazou originally found this suspicious, but Hazou's advisors have suggested perhaps the Hyuuga were investing in the Goketsu instead.
      • Be straightforward. Does Hinata know of any involvement from the Hyuuga in the bank run?
        • If she admits culpability or had awareness before the run, explain how this negatively impacts the entire village. Avoid being patronizing.
    • Jiraiya and Hiashi's rivalry was no secret, but Jiraiya only had positive things to say about Hinata. Hazou is willing to extend the benefit of the doubt.
      • We were intending to pitch a land-clearing partnership to the Hyuuga before the bank run. Hazou understands if engaging with the Goketsu economically right now is politically inconvenient.
        • Hazou isn't concerned. Hazou intends to mitigate their current debt within a few months or so once he has time away from dealing with classified stuff. We can discuss more then, if Hinata is still interested.
  • Dragonwar Combat Crew
    • Ask summon representatives how clan bosses feel about personally engaging Dragons, ideally ganging up on one Dragon at a time. Kumokogo implied anything less than a boss wouldn't matter much.
      • Ask about relations with neighbors. Do present clans have allies who aren't present that could join the war effort?
      • Nekkar implied the Dragons aren't the greatest threat. Is Nekkar trolling or is there more to it?
  • Dragonwar Great Seal Crew
    • Explain logic behind Harumitsu's Outstanding World-Saving Seal
      • As a group, research as quickly as possible.
        • Mass produce when ready
  • Offscreen
    • Ask Kagome for his permission to accept the Yoshida deal. Get Asuma's approval and inform Keiko.

[X] Action Plan: How Many Seals Does it Take to Collapse a Lung?
Word Count: 255
  • Kagome
    • Hazou had the idea of sending Hornets armed with implosion seals near the chests or even into the maws of Dragons, to instantly destroy their lungs.
      • Does Kagome think this would work? Would he be willing to share implosion seals for others to use?
      • Hazou also considered a stronger Banshee Fucker seal to rupture their organs, how much harder would it be to increase how loud the seals are?
      • Would a Dragon eating a Seal grant them abilities from the Seal?
    • Does Kagome know of any other potential weaknesses the Dragons may have? If the Sage sealed them away instead of killing them, it seems like they gave even him trouble.
      • Is there a way to put them back in the Great Seal?
      • ...Did Hazou cause this by giving the Pangolins seals, or was it the Akatsuki ritual or something?
    • Do we have your permission to accept the Yoshida proposal?
      • If yes: (Offscreen) Get Asuma's permission to accept, then inform Keiko.

@Shrooms Could you add a comment or three to respond to the Yoshida's proposal (i.e., talk to Kagome if he's OK with the proposal, then Asuma to get Hokage stamp, then respond to Keiko)?

Perhaps something like:
-talk to Kagome about Yoshida proposal. Be honest, be genuine. Won't force it, won't ask. We know how he feels about Isan. But he seemed genuinely curious about Yoshida's perspective. Sure, their help would contribute towards the mission, but we can find a way without their help, too. We will not make a pawn out of him. We're sensei and student, uncle and nephew, family goddamn it."

I already added something to the plan, and I think this is a bit wordy, but I appreciate the sentiment :)

And this is what I get for not reading through the plan :p

  • Implosion seals seal air _X_ meters away from the seal, it doesn't matter if the seal is activated inside the lung or outside it. Also, trying to use mini-SINs inside areas of limited space makes me concerned about another Blotch.
  • Stronger Banshee seals are Banshee Fuckers.

Could do it from the outside of the Dragon yeah
Stronger Banshee seals are Banshee Fuckers.
We need stronger than that, 190 dB I've heard, but HDK what a decibel is I'm assuming

HDK. Note, however, what happened to the other possessed ninja who took Consequences.
Oh this is a really good point, any possessed ninja who took any Consequence was Taken Out. I missed that, it was very hard to keep track of who was who. Interesting that Arikada would choose to kill his opponent when the Isan ninja did not feel that was necessary.

If Hinata is behind the bank run, why should we approach Hinata as if she was a friendly clanhead. Also, I am dubious about engaging a dragon. I thought we were told that it's simply futile.

Keiko would have more obligations than anyone else if we accept the Yoshida deal. You really think a character historically paranoid about her agency being taken away should just be "informed"?

Discussing this shittrain with Kei should take at least one scene if not the whole chapter, or it will backfire immensely.
I concur. The Yoshida are content with the results of the high priest; Keiko is not.

Those objectives seem to be non -negotiable. Whats worse is that if Keiko is opposed to compromising, she might be endangering the world thanks to the insights and innovations Yoshida might clue Kagome in on.

I think she'll have swallow this one but we do need to discuss it.

May want to check with Kei about it, too, since this involves her. Most of the aspects of the deal are stuff that Kei's already doing (protecting Isan's interests), but I'm not sure if Kei would be as happy to be a pawn of the Yoshida Clan, personally. If we talk to her, she may be willing to do that, but if we unilaterally tell her that she's going to do it, then I can only foresee bad things.
