But what if Hazou gets replaced by something notHazou?Ah, but Hazou isn't making blanks of prototypes, or altering the seals. His bloodline just lets him make perfect copies.

I feel like I'm missing something obvious here, but what was the significance of this but at the end? Did the two researchers get shifted? And what does "that's two" mean? The thing that wasn't Hayasaka ignored them all until it arrived at its destination.
As it squeezed itself through the door, the thing that had never been Yukimoto turned to face it.

"Good morning!" People waved to the thing that wasn't Hayasaka as it skittered through the facility corridors.
"Heard you finally had your test run yesterday—tell me all about it when you have a minute!"
"Hey, Hayasaka. When are you going to pay me back those ten ryō you owe me?"

This interlude seems to take place in Lightning Country, in which there's apparently a religion they don't even bother to give a name beyond The Truth. All sealmasters are pious? Gotta know... is there a god of explosions that Kagome prays to? No, wait, there's a god of sealing and the only way to worship it is to make seals and protect the painted world. Kagome's status as a universal constant means that he has itsblessingcurseattention. The god is an apparently silent god and the only people who even know that they're worshiping it are the Watchers --that's why their members cannot exist within the Seventh Path for 360 days a year. No one knows what happened to Uzushio, but some of the veteran Watchers whisper that, just before Uzushio vanished, their shrine seemed to smile.
Man our upcoming power jump is going to be sick. Full set of summoning scroll, ARS seals, jutsu from the contest and from the 7th path, Iron nerve socials plus FOOM. We're gonna be breaking into that upper tier soon
I'm late to the party, but congratulations!Got the job, by the way! So now I'll be able to save up some money before I move in July/August! Thanks for all the well wishes/kind thoughts!!
Nice try, but that thing is double dog done, not coming back. Sorry.I would also like to propose a new stunt
Stunt: ''X'' Throughout The Shifts
Through a mix of proficiency and Outer path corruption. Hazō was able hang on to his knowledge of this jutsu after it was shifted.
Cost: 250 XP
Prereq: ''X'' jutsu at level 30 or higher, Outer Path corruption at ''Be a Kurosawa who tried to read a Summoning Scroll'' level or higher.
1. allows Hazō to retain knowledge of the selected jutsu even after it has been subject to a Shift.
2. if the jutsu still exists in some way shape or form (IE was turned from a D-rank spacetime jutsu into a SS-rank spacetime jutsu) then Hazō retains the same level of proficieny that he had with the jutsu in it's previous form.
In Elemental Nations, explosions pray to Kagome!

Interlude: Kagome Safety Lecture Series XII, "Never Let Another Sealmaster Mess With Your Prototypes"
"G'morning, Hayasaka", Yūgen's fellow materials reinforcement researcher greeted him.
"Hey, Yukimoto."
Yūgen was excited about today. After weeks of prototyping, this would be the day his One-Seal Barrier completed its final live test. Fame and fortune, or at least peer recognition and increased funding, were mere minutes away. He reached for the prototype…
"Oh, Hayasaka, I fixed an error for you."
Yūgen bristled. Meddling with other people's prototype seals was just not done, especially not among the old guard, who'd grown up with the cast-iron safety rules that young people nowadays treated as mere good advice.
"You misaligned the thirteenth stroke of the Imagawa Converter," Yukimoto explained apologetically. "Didn't want you to waste all your hard work."
It was always the Imagawa Converter.
"Thanks, Yukimoto," Yūgen said reluctantly. "I guess I'll buy you a drink after work."
Yukimoto gave him an affable smile and went back to his own tinkering.
Yūgen, after the requisite hour spent setting up protections (old guard), reached for the seal with trembling hands. A line of career-determining chakra sped down his arm, into the ink, and—
"Aaargh!"
The wave of force bypassed all the barriers in the way as if they were curtains to be swept aside, and slammed him hard in the chest, knocking him backward against the rear wall. He froze on the spot, watching for secondary effects.
"You all right there, Hayasaka?" came Yukimoto's concerned voice.
After a few seconds in which reality did not implode, Hayasaka allowed himself to speak. "Fine, thanks. Just another physical."
Yukimoto came around the partition and slowly levered Yūgen up to his feet. "No such thing as just another physical at your age, Hayasaka. You've got to keep an eye on your health."
"Now you mention it," Yūgen agreed, "I do feel pretty beaten up. I think I'll call it a day."
"See you soon!"

Yūgen's injuries, ostensibly so light, were apparently enough to make it hard to sleep. He could feel bruises all over his body, even in places he couldn't see how he could have injured, like his knees. Yukimoto was right. He wouldn't have felt like this a mere five years ago.
When morning came, instead of healing, the bruises felt even worse. Some parts of his body felt strangely bumpy, too, and that was never a good sign. Yūgen decided to skip work and get a check-up at the hospital, because a sealmaster never left such things up to chance. Secondary effects tended to get you when you least expected.
The medic-nin on duty was courteous, helpful, thorough, and completely useless.
"I'm sorry, sir, but you seem the very picture of health to me. I can't find any bruises anywhere, much less any irregularities. You may simply be suffering from a troubled mind—it's a common complaint among sealmasters. A day of meditation at the nearest monastery should sort you right out."
Yūgen was skeptical to say the least, but as a fairly pious man (sealmasters needed something to pray to), he duly visited the Adepts of Perfect Lightning and availed himself of their guidance.
It didn't help.
When he woke up the next day, he felt worse than he ever had in his life. Where he had been bruised, his flesh was now unnaturally soft. In the mirror, he could that his face was the colour of dried parchment. And the bumps felt like they were bony protrusions, barely stopping short of breaking through the skin. At this point, there was no room for doubt. The sealing failure was still going.
He ran to the hospital, or at least staggered as fast as he could.
"Now do you believe me?" he demanded in a drying voice. "By the forbidden name, do something!"
The medic-nin looked him over carefully. "Sir, did you meditate like I advised yesterday?"
"Who cares about that?!"
"It's very important to take care of your mind as well as your body," the medic-nin said reproachfully. "Not listening to a doctor's advice is the same as choosing to hurt yourself."
Yūgen stared at him, wild-eyed. "My body is tearing itself apart. How is meditation going to help? Do something!"
"Sir, you look fine," the medic-nin said patiently. "Your skin doesn't look bruised, and I don't see any bumps either. Now, I have other patients to see, who do have obvious injuries that require urgent attention."
"I-I demand a second opinion!"
Even as he spoke, Yūgen could feel his symptoms getting worse. He needed a real medic-nin to fix him up fast. Or was it already too late? He could feel the pressure of the bone against the skin.
"Is this the gentleman in question?" an older and more important-looking ninja demanded impatiently. Without waiting for consent, or any other kind of response, he ran his fingers quickly over Yūgen's body, with a green glow that brightened at some points and darkened at others.
"There is nothing wrong with you," the doctor said conclusively. "Now go home."
Desperate, Yūgen reached out and grabbed the man's arm, guiding it to the thing jutting out of his shoulder. "What do you call this, then?"
"Some people's shoulders are more angular than rounded," the doctor said. "It is a trivial matter. Now please leave before we have to escort you out."
There was nothing left for Yūgen. All he could do was run to the research facility. Maybe he could come up with some way to reverse the sealing failure. Maybe Yukimoto would help.

Oh, kawarimi is safe. (For now, he said, cackling in QM butt-covering.)wait do you mean Kawarimi or henge? because I am trying to preserve Kawarimi (not henge) with this and would like to know if you are shifting Kawarimi.
also for the record that stunt does not work on jutsu that have already been shifted, I forgot to specify that.
Oh, almost surely the case! No question there. It's in the book:Y'know, golden ending will probably involve getting rid of sealing.
HPMOR said:"Rule Twelve," Professor Quirrell said quietly. "Never leave the source of your power lying around where someone else can find it."
I can see it now...
Poor Man's Yellow Flash --> Rich Man's Yellow Flash --> Minato's Yellow Flash Revived --> Limit Break: Yellow Flash
It doesn't need to be floating, just that the floor doesn't collapse. And i had an interesting thought:the floating clan compounds we proposed Jiraya(That he said it was useless) would have made Rock attack useless, by virtue of being floating structures. It was a incomplete proposal, but it's something to point out to him, once we resurrect him.
We can go much much deeper:
Limit Break: Yellow Flash--> Summon Materia: Yellow Flash ZERO -->Guardian Force: Eternal Yellow Flash --->X-Flash: The supreme Yellow Flash
As with all things related to sealing or jutsu, it's possible. That being said, it has a lot of parts which require development (most notably the limitations of Kawarimi and the spread of objects a single RMYF can throw out), and it still brings up the issue of our limited Actions, which mechanically limits us to 2 Kawarimi and 1 attack, or 3 Kawarimi and no attack, in a round.Yeah but for real tho is my seal idea ''The Rich Man's Yellow Flash'' a good or feasible seal or not?
This is a good time to explain the incredibly broken sealing tech we are currently climbingAs with all things related to sealing or jutsu, it's possible. The current plan is to have them trigger when substitution is used.
