Social specialist with a biosealing-assisting bloodline, here we come!
Don't be ridiculous, a bloodline that gives bonus XP is the way to go!Social specialist with a biosealing-assisting bloodline, here we come!
No, no, biosealing-assisting, not sealing-assisting. You know, that discipline which is
That's silly, why take but one thing we could graft onto ourselves with biosealing in place of biosealing? Once we find a hidden stash of Arikada's notes and deliberately cause a poorly-controlled biosealing failure to give ourselves an Out-contaminated secondary information-processing organ, we'll have all the bonus XP we'll ever need.Don't be ridiculous, a bloodline that gives bonus XP is the way to go!

I still think playing as an escaped Orochimaru experiment would be an interesting idea.It must be a Leaf-nin for the Shadow Clones+Chakra transfer path to S-rank.
OROCHIMARU VICTIM: *slowly oozes out of Konoha*I still think playing as an escaped Orochimaru experiment would be an interesting idea.
Murder-hoboing requires a lot of social interaction.I say our next character should be totally averse to anything resembling a social relationship.
Basically, murder-hoboing is what we are good at, so a murder-hobo is what we should play.
It does have its merits. You'll have Alertness through the roof, and a Deceit build will wreck everything.Murder-hoboing requires a lot of social interaction.
We should be a lighthouse.
VFIHH: *screaming in Hazou's ghost*No, the only fair choice is Itachi Uchiha as it's his fault we ended into this mess, we'll be his personal Hivemind!Ghost and scream at him until he resurrects Hazou, then we'll return to our rightful place and conquer the Out!
You know, we could just continue our adventure in the afterlife.
Great idea! You know, we could just continue our adventure in the afterlife.

Hm... the last scion of a clan whose members are capable of stealing the power (read: Gain % of target's XP and talent) of those they kill, the rest of their clan hunted down by an alliance, set on the continent to the east? That way we can have fun with starting out small and eventually have fun being stronk quite quickly. Two word: Soulstealer Bloodline. All the punching. @Velorien make it happen.
faflec.reaction.No more spreadsheets...
No more politics...
Small cast of characters to keep track of...
On another continent so not much involvement with all the issues we've been dealing with...
All the punching I could ask for...
Hm.
Y'all might want to be careful how much you talk this up, because it's sounding pretty darn good. Like, temptingly good. And I never actually announced that I was returning to simulationism...

Note how well it scales! As it is now, once we get enough power, we'll be incentivized to only use it as a deterrent while reshaping society via spreadsheets and politicking. With a Soulstealer bloodline, we'll instead be incentivized to assassinate S-rankers to get more power, and then go further and start hunting Tailed Beasts and other inhuman abominations. We'll be murder-hoboing all the way until we amass enough power to reshape the world Pain-style!No more spreadsheets...
