So another Kurosawa?
No, no, biosealing-assisting, not sealing-assisting. You know, that discipline which is the Dark Souls of Sealing the Sealing of Sealing, the one that most sealmasters consider insane to practice? That one. Oro'll have nothing on us.
Don't be ridiculous, a bloodline that gives bonus XP is the way to go! :p
That's silly, why take but one thing we could graft onto ourselves with biosealing in place of biosealing? Once we find a hidden stash of Arikada's notes and deliberately cause a poorly-controlled biosealing failure to give ourselves an Out-contaminated secondary information-processing organ, we'll have all the bonus XP we'll ever need.

I say our next character should be totally averse to anything resembling a social relationship.

Basically, murder-hoboing is what we are good at, so a murder-hobo is what we should play.

No, the only fair choice is Itachi Uchiha as it's his fault we ended into this mess, we'll be his personal Hivemind!Ghost and scream at him until he resurrects Hazou, then we'll return to our rightful place and conquer the Out!

You know, we could just continue our adventure in the afterlife.
Great idea!

[X] Action Plan: The Next Great Adventure
  • Jump into the afterlife portal, and start exploring the forest.
  • Try moving NW of your position to where the BotG was, maybe we'll find Jiraiya there!
    • Use the portal's position, as well as the 'position' of Daizen's death/rebirth, to determine cardinal direction.
  • Don't worry if the portal closes, you can always make another!

Before we Leave for mist we should talk to Asuma about setting up summon realm communication with Mist Oyabun. We can just tell him we will be working on turning the organization into a Leaf asset eventually

Two word: Soulstealer Bloodline. All the punching. @Velorien make it happen.
Hm... the last scion of a clan whose members are capable of stealing the power (read: Gain % of target's XP and talent) of those they kill, the rest of their clan hunted down by an alliance, set on the continent to the east? That way we can have fun with starting out small and eventually have fun being stronk quite quickly.

No more spreadsheets...
No more politics...
Small cast of characters to keep track of...
On another continent so not much involvement with all the issues we've been dealing with...
All the punching I could ask for...

Hm.

Y'all might want to be careful how much you talk this up, because it's sounding pretty darn good. Like, temptingly good. And I never actually announced that I was returning to simulationism...

On the other hand, if we surpass this obstacle, you could have Akane and Hazou, a S-ranker punching duo the likes the world has never seen(If we don't count Tsunade and Jiraiya), just imagine....
Akane and Hazou punching the spreadsheets and politics until the don't exist anymore...
Akane and Hazou punching the big cast of characters until they become a small cast of Uplift....
Don't you want to write Akane punching the Amaterasu out of Itachi, while screaming "Hazou is mine to protect!"? Or Hazou punching everyone until they stop WW4?

Note how well it scales! As it is now, once we get enough power, we'll be incentivized to only use it as a deterrent while reshaping society via spreadsheets and politicking. With a Soulstealer bloodline, we'll instead be incentivized to assassinate S-rankers to get more power, and then go further and start hunting Tailed Beasts and other inhuman abominations. We'll be murder-hoboing all the way until we amass enough power to reshape the world Pain-style!

Man, I can see what you mean about the temptation...

No Kagome or Keiko, either, though.
