Ah, I must have misunderstood. Explain please?

"Ami-style training" is just a nickname we invented for insane, hilarious, and incredibly difficult training tasks. Named so after being introduced in her first POV interlude IIRC.

Stuff like "Travel across Mist by henging into objects.", "Dress down to your boxers, tie yourself up, and get air dropped into the kunoichi side of a bathhouse. Survive.", or "Break into Hyuuga Hiashi's bedroom and steal all of his underpants with Rock Lee taped to your back without getting caught."

@eaglejarl Are you OK with writing a retroactive scene on the Hazou-Keiko meeting which was in the original plan but wasn't done? Velorien said it was OK but I just wanted to make sure with you.
You mean the thing where Hazō suggests blaming him? I support this.

Let's see if we can con the GMs into writing retroactively enough times to find out what happened with the Sage a thousand years ago.
Now THAT is one QM doc that I PROMISE will stay secret until the end of the quest.

How does "A seal that verifies two drawings are the same (more specifically, lets say it verifies that theyre "Sealcraft Isomorphic" ie that two uninfused blanks are the same) ." sound difficulty-wise?
  • Easy-storage seals
  • Medium- lets say "Force Wall"
  • Hard- lets say "Moveable force wall"
  • A stones throw away from impossible- lets say "Flying Thunder God"
  • "You might as well make a "True Resurrection" seal with your time pal lmao" tier difficult
Between Flying Thunder God and True Resurrection.

Does Keiko/Hazou have access to that briefing Shikamaru mentioned, and if so what is inside of it?

As clan head, Hazō gets the briefing if he asks for it. He wasn't there when it was originally being distributed, and after that, it isn't anyone's job to keep track of whether he's got it or not.

It contains:
  • A list of the deceased from Leaf and other villages.
  • A list of Akatsuki members, their appearance, and abilities demonstrated (note: they may not have used their full abilities due to the broader context of the battle or the properties of their specific opponents).
  • Everything involving Pain. Specifically, a detailed description of the ritual site, including materials used, and everything observed about the resurrection ninjutsu (inc. hand seals). This information is high-clearance and is not available to most ninja.
  • A list of surviving jinchūriki, their condition and their last known destination.
  • A List of the Mist/Sand survivors and everything observed about their abilities/skill levels during the battle.

In the event that we discover (whether on our own, through Orochimaru's* notes) some superior understanding of the nature of chakra, or a superior way to improve our chakra reserves, or some other great insight, how does the system model that? As an experience boost limited to the relevant skills, a reduced training cost for those skills, an Aspect of some kind?
Most likely as either an Aspect or the ability to buy a unique stunt.

Who is the longtime common enemy of the Toads and Pangolins?
The Condors.

How do villages determine which children have enough chakra to train as ninjas?
Hazō is aware of the ability for skilled Vampiric Dew users to identify ninja potential, and knows enough to reasonably guess that skilled Byakugan wielders likely do the same in Leaf. The procedures of other villages are a mystery to him at this point, however.

Q: Is it possible to have two Fighting Styles at the same time, if you pay for the Stunt twice?
It is possible to buy two such Stunts, but you can only make use of one at a time. I've added a line to the rule doc clarifying this.

Does this include a transcript of that conversation at the end? You know, with Hiashi and all.

In Hazou's capacity as Goketsu Clan Head, how much of his time is he spending keeping on top of things like this? My angle here is that even if Hazou never got around to figuring out what exactly happened at the Battle of the Gods (including figuring out if such a briefing exists) he ought to be accumulating bits of information over time relevant to his position.

I won't go so far as to criticize him for putting sealing research before learning what happened at the BotG, but I feel like it and things like it are things Hazou should eventually pick up without direct Hivemind intervention as part of off-screen Clan Head-ing and stuff.

@Oneiros Please add asking for the briefing. No idea where to go beyond the Tower, though...

Whoevers writing plans this cycle:

I will vote for your plan(s) IFF the very first bulletpoint is:

  • Ask Shikamaru about Clan Head stuff. Anything we need to know? Do we get clearance for things? Briefings? Daily updates?
    • Acquire and get caught up on any recent ones by whatever methods he outlines.

So everyone actually knows there's seven Akatsuki members who were collectively strong enough to stand up to the five major villages' combined forces, still out there and doing who knows what, while said major villages are incredibly vulnerable and Kage-less? And nobody is panicking? There isn't an emergency meeting of the council to figure out how to prevent Konoha's destruction if the Akatsuki decide to attack in full force?

These people are nuts. We really, really need to drive this point home in every discussion with a clan head or Hokage candidate. We're currently living on Akatsuki's good will, and I suspect they don't have much left.

The shadow clones won't have access to Frozen Skein, so it would slow them down. Hopefully.

...Or make them unable to distinguish reality
How confident are you that lack of Frozen Skein will slow her down more than the unshackling of her mental abilities will speed her up?

Does this include a transcript of that conversation at the end? You know, with Hiashi and all.
Only a concise summary to the extent that it was relevant to the "mission" ("Lord Hyuuga objected that...").

Whatever Akatsuki was attempting was most likely against the Will Of Fire, citizen. Many thanks to the heroes whose sacrifice preserved our way of life.

Mari was doing exactly what instructed: protecting the clan. Keiko herself said that her decision harms the clan economically, so Mari tried to manipulate her to prevent that. I'm not sure what Hazou was expecting when he gave the go-ahead or what you thought happened, but I thought that this was obvious.
And I don't think she's been doing anything as harmful as sinking an entire ship of non-combatants...
